China’s crackdown on Christianity

China is cracking down on Christianity as part of a campaign by the country’s Communist Party to “eradicate pornography and illegal publications”, reports Fox News.

The suggestion is that Bibles and Biblical materials are somehow comparable to inappropriate images.

Since March 2018, the Chinese government has banned online and retail sales of Bibles.  Plus, hymnals and other spiritual books aren’t allowed in churches unless sanctioned and published by the Chinese Communist Party, moving the churches further and further away from any semblance of religious liberty.

Kevin Swanson’s report from Bahamas about Hurricane Dorian

For the next several days, Kevin Swanson, founder of Generations and The Worldview will be submitting reports from the Bahamas about the devastation of Hurricane Dorian there.

SWANSON: “This is Kevin Swanson reporting from Freeport Chapel in Freeport, Grand Bahama in the Bahamas.

Hurricane Dorian has contributed some $7 billion of damage to the Bahamas — equal to about 100% of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product. That compares to America’s most destructive hurricane – Katrina — which contributed about 2% of the GDP 14 years ago.

“Dorian was the worst natural disaster in the history of the Bahamas with maximum sustained wind of 185 miles per hour.  It was the strongest hurricane to make landfall in the Atlantic.

“The major destruction in this country occurred on two islands the Grand Bahama and Abaco, the second and third most populated islands of the Bahamas.  Abaco, with a population of 17,000, was almost completely destroyed.  And the east end of the Grand Bahama was most affected by Dorian. Grand Bahama has a population of about 51,000.

“At least 70,000 people were left homeless. An estimated 60% of the homes were not insured.  And the median household Income here is $26,000 –about 40% of that in the United States.

“Most of the houses were damaged.  Either the roofs were damaged, the water damage was significant and most of the houses that I’ve been through.  And there is a massive shortage of drywall, roofing shingles, and other building materials. That’s what’s slowing down the process here in Freeport, Grand Bahama.

“By affiliation, the Bahamas is 80% Protestant, with Baptists making up the highest percentage of church attendance here.

“The bottom line:  There’s much of the body of Christ just 80 miles off of our shoreline that is suffering right here, right now. Let us do good to all men, but especially to the household of God.” (Galatians 6:10)

Supreme Court declines case of Christian student forced to affirm Islam

The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to take up the case of a Christian high school student who claimed her constitutional rights were violated when she was forced to write on a worksheet, “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”

Without comment, the justices refused on October 15 to hear an appeal of the case from the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals which had ruled that the teacher at La Plata High School in Charles County, Maryland did not violate the free speech or religious rights of the student, Caleigh Wood, reports Christian Headlines.

She was in the 11th grade at the time and refused to complete the assignment. She received a failing grade.  And the school refused to give her an alternative assignment.

The Thomas More Law Center, which represented the student, alleged that the assignment violated the Establishment Clause by “impermissibly endorsing and advancing the Islamic religion.”

Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel, said, “I’m not aware of any public school which has forced a Muslim student to write the Lord’s Prayer or John 3:16.”

That verse declares, “For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Austin, Texas passed radical sex-ed curriculum Monday night

After the overwhelming majority of 126 residents testified against Austin, Texas Independent School District’s new radical sex education curriculum, the elected Austin ISD school board voted after midnight on Monday to unanimously formally adopt the radical, hypersexualized and potentially illegal sex education curriculum that was imported, in part, from Canada, reports Texas Values.

Not only does the curriculum promote homosexuality and gender confusion, but it condemns any opposition to these ideologies.

In fact, when Texas Values was set to begin their press conference before the meeting, a black man, pretending to be a woman, calling himself  “Naomi” Wilson, started screaming, “Black trans lives matter”.

WILSON: “Black trans lives matter. Black trans lives matter.

The man also had others who were blowing whistles, yelling in megaphones, playing music, and using kazoos which shut down the press conference.

The radical curriculum prohibits kids from using the words “mother” and “father” to describe their own parents, forces third-graders to play a sexuality match game with terms like “bisexual”, “gay”, “lesbian”, and “homophobia”, and it teaches kids to denounce those who do not agree with the homosexual/transgender agenda and advises them to attend so-called “Pride” marches.

No wonder Jennifer Kratky, the Christian mother of a fifth grader and a first grader in the Austin area, said this.

KRATKY: “Is this where we’re at in society? Where we’re just telling 11, 12, and 13-year-olds, ‘Well, you’re they’re going to have sex.’  Can’t we aim higher for our kids?”

Pro-abort Dem. Penn, Rep apologizes for doxing pro-life teen girls

SIMS: “Hi everyone, Representative Brian Sims here and I am outside the Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania. What we’ve got here is a bunch of pseudo-Christian protesters who’ve been out here shaming young girls for being here. So, here’s the deal. I’ve got $100 to anybody who will identify any of these three. There’s nothing Christian about what you’re doing. So, I’ve got $100 to anybody who will identify any of these three.”

Five months after videotaping three pro-life teenage girls who were praying in front of a Philadelphia Planned Parenthood abortion mill during which he offered $100 to any YouTube viewer who would give him the girls’ identities, a practice known as doxing, Pennsylvania Democratic State Rep. Brian Sims, a self-professed homosexual, has finally apologized to them in a letter, reports LifeNews.com.
