Warren seems to belittle men who stand for heterosexual marriage
Last Thursday night, at CNN’s Homosexual Town Hall in Los Angeles, Morgan Cox, Chair of the homosexual Human Rights Campaign Fund Board of Directors, asked Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren this question.
COX : “Hi, Senator. Thank you for being here. Let’s say you’re on the campaign trail and a supporter approaches you and says, Senator, I’m old-fashioned and my faith teaches me that marriage is between one man and one woman. What is your response?”
WARREN: Well, I’m going to assume it’s a guy who said that and I’m going to say, “Then just marry one woman. I’m cool with that.”
(laughter and applause)
WARREN: “Assuming you can find one.”
(laughter and applause)
While Senator Elizabeth Warren mocks God’s design, Genesis 2:24 remains true. “A man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”
Castro: HUD Sec Ben Carson should be fired over Christian stand
Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro said Thursday during the Homosexual CNN Town Hall that his successor, Dr. Ben Carson, should resign over “shameful” comments he made about transgender people at women’s shelters, reports RealClearPolitics.com.
Carson reportedly referred to women’s shelters accepting “big hairy men” claiming to be women in a closed-door meeting last month.
Here is a question from a disabled homosexual at that town hall.
QUESTION: “Yes. I am one of many LGBT in this country who live in subsidized housing due to a disability. Will you, in your first 100 days, bring back the LGBTQ non-discrimination policies for HUD housing that were removed?”
CASTRO: “I absolutely will. I’m very proud that during the two-and-a-half years that I was housing secretary that me and the people that worked at HUD, we had a role in expanding those protections.
“It is a shame what this administration has done to roll them back. And the comments that Secretary Carson, my successor, made a couple of weeks ago are shameful. When you’re housing secretary, you’re there to serve everybody. His comments made clear that he’s not able to serve everybody. I believe that he should resign because of that, because he can’t serve everybody.
“As president, I will make sure that we… will strengthen protections in housing and employment and health care, in every other context for members of the LGBTQ community.”
Speaking of shame, Romans 1:26-27 says, “God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way, the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men.”
Beto O’Rourke: Strip churches of tax-exemption if opposed to “gay” marriage
During last Thursday night’s CNN Homosexual rights Town Hall, anchor Don Lemon, a self-professed homosexual himself, asked this question of Democratic Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke, reports Fox News.
LEMON: “This is from your LGBTQ Plan. And here’s what you write. This is a quote. ‘Freedom of religion is a fundamental right but it should not be used to discriminate.’ Do you think religious institutions like colleges, churches, charities, should they lose their tax-exempt status if they oppose same sex marriage?”
O’ROURKE: “Yes!” (applause)
(In a thread on Twitter, Denny Burk, associate professor of biblical studies at Boyce College, who also serves as associate pastor at Kenwood Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky, said, “This draconian assault on the First Amendment is now the MAINSTREAM view within the Democratic Party.
“This could bankrupt many churches and religious institutions because it would dissuade contributions. Many churches would lose their property as a result of being unable to pay property taxes —especially in big cities.”)
New CA law Mandates Free Abortions at All Colleges
Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed into law a radical bill that would force colleges to provide free abortions on campus, reports LifeNews.com.
The pro-abortion bill, which passed the state legislature in September, mandates that all public colleges and universities provide abortion drugs for free to students up to 10 weeks of pregnancy starting Jan. 1, 2023.
Call Governor Newsom to object at (916) 445-2841.
How satellite Christian TV transformed an Iranian couple
And finally, the phones are constantly busy at a Christian Iranian broadcasting center, where a team is always available for calls coming from over 6,000 miles away.
An Iranian woman named Saba started memorizing the Quran at age 9, but by the age of 14, she hated Islam. She said, “Islam had taught me that when I suffer, Allah is pleased. In fact, he likes it”, reports International Christian Concern.
Saba’s experience with men seemed to further prove this belief. She found herself in a 9-year-long abusive marriage, where her husband would often return home late at night, drunk, and would beat her.
Then, one night, to her surprise, she discovered him crying as he watched a Christian satellite channel. She had never seen him cry. He said his heart had been deeply touched.
Saba explained, “Soon, my husband started reading the Bible, and he started changing. Now, he paid attention to me, showed kindness, and a great supernatural love toward me.”
Ephesians 5:25 says, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to make her holy.”
She watched as her husband became stronger in his new Christian faith, and how he began to treat her with humanity. It was something she never thought possible. It made her curious to learn more about this God who had so transformed her husband.
Saba said, “I started reading the Bible for myself. I learned that the God of the Bible sees men and women as equally important. I saw that when a man and a woman marry, they become one. Not like Islam, when after marriage the woman becomes a possession of the man. My heart was touched. And I gave my life to Jesus.”
It was a life-transforming miracle for Saba and her husband. But their conversion, if discovered by the government, could mean a lengthy jail sentence under harsh conditions.
Pray for the growing Iranian body of Christ!
