Pakistani Christian Laborer Killed by Muslim Boss

A 45-year-old Pakistani Christian man named Javaid Masih wanted to quit his job as a laborer at Abbas Jutt’s livestock farm because he was often subjected to discrimination and religious hatred, reports International Christian Concern.

On May 18th, his Muslim employer refused to let him quit, then reportedly kidnapped and tortured Masih to death in Pakistan’s Punjab province.

His widow said, “We had been experiencing religious hatred from [Jutt] and his colleagues, however, we had no courage to register this with police. We are poor and belong to a downtrodden segment of society. Therefore, we are never heard.”

Masih’s monthly wage was just $68.

Revelation 21:8 says, “But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

Joe Biden Flip-Flops on Hyde Amendment

Joe Biden may not be as moderate as many initially presumed.

Asked on May 8th by an ACLU volunteer if he still supported the Hyde Amendment, a measure that prohibits federal funding of abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or when the mother’s life is endangered, Biden had this response, reports the National Review.

NINA: “I’m an ACLU rights for all voter and I have one quick question for you. That is ‘Will you commit to abolishing the Hyde Amendment which hurts poor women and women of color?’

BIDEN: “Yes. And by the way, ACLU member, I’ve got a near perfect voting record my entire career.”

NINA: “I heard you did. But I’m glad you just said you would commit to abolishing the Hyde Amendment.”

BIDEN: “It has to be. It can’t stay.”

NINA: “Thank you.”

This is a clear departure for the supposedly middle-of-the-road Democratic candidate.

In 1994, Biden wrote to a constituent, “I will continue to abide by the same principle that has guided me throughout my 21 years in the Senate: those of us who are opposed to abortion should not be compelled to pay for them. As you may know, I have consistently — on no fewer than 50 occasions — voted against federal funding of abortions.”

Then in 2007, Biden wrote in his book Promises to Keep, “I’ve stuck to my middle-of-the-road position on abortion for more than 30 years. I still vote against partial birth abortion and federal funding.”

The Hyde Amendment, first enacted by Congress in 1976 just three years after Roe v. Wade, has saved over two million unborn children, according to the Charlotte Lozier Institute.

Alabama Public Television: We Will Not Air Homosexual Cartoon Wedding

Alabama Public Television chose not to air the May 13th episode of PBS’s cartoon “Arthur” that included a homosexual marriage, reports al.com.

Mike McKenzie, director of programming, said, “Parents trust that their children can watch Alabama Public Television without their supervision.” They played a re-run instead.

Target Donates $100,000 to Radical Homosexual Group

Target department stores are not only offering clothing and accessories celebrating the homosexual lifestyle to adults and children, but the company has also pledged to donate $100,000 to the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network that trains students and teachers in sexually perverted politics and advocacy, reports LifeSiteNews.com.

Coincidently, Target chief marketing officer Rick Gomez also serves on GLSEN’s board of directors.

Ephesians 5:11 says, “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”

41% of College Students: Constitution Doesn’t Protect “Hate Speech”

A new survey conducted by the Knight Foundation shows that 41% of college students believe that “hate speech” is not protected by the First Amendment, reports CampusReform.org.

Campus Reform’s Cabot Phillips went to Marymount University to ask students: “Where is the line on free speech?” Listen to some of the unfortunate answers he received.

PHILLIPS: “What speech should be allowed and then what speech crosses a line and shouldn’t be allowed on campuses?”

STUDENT 1: “I think if it’s hateful and disrespectful to specific groups, then that’s not okay.”

PHILLIPS: “I can be disrespectful to you though, right? I have the right, right?”

STUDENT 1: “Yeah, but it’s not nice.”

PHILLIPS: “Does the Constitution say I have to be nice though?”

STUDENT 1: “No.”

STUDENT 2: “It’s okay to disagree, but you have to do it respectfully and in an adult manner. Because if you are going to talk about free speech, then you need to back it up with facts and not just your person opinion.”

PHILLIPS: “But, as far as having the right to speak up, I’m allowed to be disrespectful, right?

STUDENT 2: “No.”

STUDENT 3:  “As long as what you are doing is respectful, you should be allowed to do whatever you want.”

PHILLIPS: “What if I’m disrespectful? Should I still be allowed to speak?”

STUDENT 3: “If you’re directly offending someone with racial slurs or something, then you should be escorted off campus or asked to stop. You should maybe have to ask for a permit or something and ask for  permission in advance.”

David Harris, president of Union College in New York, even wrote an op-ed titled “A Campus Is Not the Place for Free Speech.”

Imprisoned Iranian Christian Converts Lose Appeal

Two Iranian Christian converts from Islam, Saheb Fadaei and Fatimeh Bakhteri, were sentenced in September of last year to 18 and 12 months imprisonment respectively. Both are members of the Church of Iran in Rasht, where persecution has increased significantly over the last five months. An appeals court just rejected their appeal, reports International Christian Concern.

Fadaei had already lost an appeal and is serving a separate 10-year sentence in Evin Prison for propagating house churches and promoting Christianity.

As an Islamic Republic, Iran’s leadership is increasingly concerned about the growth of Christianity throughout the country. Christians are viewed as an inherent national security threat.

Senator Ted Cruz: Yale Law School Discriminates Against Christians

Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Constitution Subcommittee, asked for documents related to Yale Law School’s decision-making that led to their discrimination against students holding “traditional Christian views” who work at conservative Christian firms like Alliance Defending Freedom, reports the Washington Examiner.

Cruz believes Yale’s new policy could deny financial assistance to students based on the religious affiliation of the organization for which they choose to work.

Sutherland Springs, Texas Church Opens New Sanctuary

After 26-year-old Devin Kelley killed 26 churchgoers and injured 20 others at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas on November 5, 2017 in the deadliest mass shooting in state history, the church unveiled a new sanctuary, reports CBN News.

Among the hundreds in attendance, some wore royal blue shirts with ”#EvilDidNotWin” written across the back.

To loud applause, Pastor Frank Pomeroy, whose 14-year-old daughter Annabelle was among the dead, told the crowd this is a place where goodness triumphed over evil.

Soccer Moms and Dads Will Be Upset with Dems on “Equality Act”

By voting for the so-called “Equality Act”, the Leftist politicians, who comprise the entire House Democratic caucus, may be surprised to learn that deep-sixing girls’ sports will not be welcomed by Soccer Moms and Dad who love to watch their daughters play, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Hopefully, they will be voted out of office come 2020.

Dunkin Donuts: “We Are Not Starbucks. We Are Not Political”

In a slam at the leftist coffee chain which attempts to start political conversations on their coffee cups, Dunkin Donuts VP Drayton Martin said, “We are not Starbucks, we aren’t political. We don’t want to engage you in political conversation. We want to get you in and out of our store in a minute and twenty seconds. Have conversations with your friends; Dunkin isn’t your friend.”

She made those remarks at panel discussion at the International Trademark Association.
