Vice President Pence Takes a Stand for ICE
In the face of Democratic calls for the abolishment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Vice President Mike Pence offered unqualified support for the government’s front line officers during a visit to ICE headquarters on Friday, reports USA Today.
“Just when you thought the Democrats couldn’t move farther to the left, leading members of the Democratic Party including candidates for higher office are actually openly advocating the abolition of ICE, an agency that protects the American people in our community every single day.
“Under President Donald Trump, we will never abolish ICE. We will always stand proudly with our brave heroes of ICE and our Border Patrol.”
Teen Assaulted for Trump Baseball Cap in San Antonio
16-year-old Hunter Richard was verbally attacked and assaulted at a Whataburger in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas for wearing a Make America Great Again hat, reports News 4 WOAI-TV.
In the video, you can see a man violently throw a drink in Hunter’s face before stealing the teen’s hat. Hunter said some of his hair was pulled out during the assault which was unprovoked.
The teen said, “I support my President … Let’s have a conversation about it instead of ripping my hat off.”
The man in the video who took the cap, Kino Jimenez, is now facing charges.
The Trump administration says President Trump will sign the hat for Hunter.
Walmart Pulled “Impeach 45” T-shirt; Consider “Pray for 45” T-shirt
While Walmart briefly sold “Impeach 45” T-shirts on its website, the retail giant quickly dropped the product after a public outcry, reports WorldNetDaily.com.
But now there’s a T-shirt referencing President Trump, the 45th president of the United States, in a positive way.
Its message is “Pray for 45,” and it’s available at the website for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
Franklin Graham said, “God is the hope for our country. Our leaders, including President Donald J. Trump, need our prayers. The bottom line? Prayer can make America great!”
The Bible says to pray for “all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:2)
Hispanics Enjoy Lowest Unemployment Rate Ever!
The national, seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate for Hispanics and Latinos in the U.S. labor force fell to the lowest level on record in June of 2018 at 4.6%, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data.
By contrast, the national Hispanic-Latino unemployment rate averaged 9.4% during President Barack Obama’s eight years in office, impacted by the 2008 recession, which officially ended in June of 2009, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research.

362,000 Americans stand to be denied new or renewed passports under a 2015 law requiring the IRS and State Department to deny passports to Americans who owe more than $51,000 in tax debt, reports TheHill.com.
Facebook Censors Gospel Video
The Facebook censors are at it again.
This time Zuckerberg’s company has targeted a gospel video featuring the song “What Would Heaven Look Like” by Zion’s Joy!, a vocal ensemble from Indianapolis, reports WRAL-TV.

When Zion’s Joy! wanted to promote the video by paying Facebook for a “boost,” the social media company’s algorithm blocked it, labeling it political speech in the wake of tougher rules after the 2016 presidential election.
Eventually, Facebook admitted its mistake and said the post was restored.
Psalm 150:6 says, “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.”
Cops Blessing the Community
It’s called Operation Copsicle.
Thanks to the efforts of Officer Darren Derby of the Pittsfield Police Department in Massachusetts, he helped raise $55,000 so that the police could purchase their own ice cream truck in order to give away popsicles to the community, reports WNYT.
After the July 4th parade, the cops handed out 2,500 ‘copsicles’ which brought a smile to Derby’s face.
“It’s just another tool I look at it as another tool to create a relationship, building trust in the community — not just with the kids, but with the adults.”
“You know what, the police really can have fun. You know, they’re not serious all the time.
“Your first interaction is not at a call for service where there is a domestic or if somebody’s property got stolen. This is a happy connection. And hopefully they remember that.
“They realize there is something behind the badge, there’s a heart, there’s love, there’s a connection to everybody. We live in this community. Our children grew up here, we grew up here.”

Secretary of State Pompeo Ruffled North Korean Feathers
North Korea says high-level talks with a U.S. delegation led by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo were “regrettable” and has accused Washington of trying to unilaterally pressure the country into abandoning its nukes, reports the Associated Press.
It says the outcome of the follow-up talks was “very concerning” because it has led to a “dangerous phase that might rattle our willingness for denuclearization that had been firm.”
Random House Cancels Book Critical of Islam
The global, U.S.-based publishing giant Random House has declined to release a new book that is critical of Islam, arguing it will stir up anti-Muslim hatred.
The German author, Thilo Sarrazin, will make his case in court today in Munich in a lawsuit against the publisher over its axing of his book Hostile Takeover — How Islam Hampers Progress and Threatens Society, reports Agence France-Presse.
Robert Spencer asked on his Jihad Watch site, “Would Random House hesitate for a nanosecond to publish a book that might seize on and amplify anti-Christian sentiments? Anti-Jewish sentiments? Of course not.”
Canadian Prime Minister Accused of Groping
A former journalist named Rose Knight broke her silence on Friday to stand by her allegation that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau groped her nearly two decades ago at the age of 28 during a music festival in the western city of Creston, British Columbia in 2000, before he was politically involved.
Trudeau said, “I do not feel that I acted inappropriately in any way, but I respect the fact that someone else might have experienced that differently.”
Manafort in Solitary Confinement
President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, has been behind bars ever since a federal judge in Washington, DC revoked his pre-trial release on June 15th for violating his bail conditions as he faces money laundering charges, reports LawandCrime.com.
Since then, Manafort has been in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day excluding visits from his attorneys.
Law&Crime trial analyst Caroline Polisi said, “Prisons are so understaffed that there is just no way they could otherwise guarantee his safety if he were allowed to access the public areas of the facility, given the high profile nature of his case.”
More Anti-Trump Violence
A 75-year-old Long Island man named Martin Astrof was arrested Friday for threatening to kill supporters of President Donald Trump and Republican Congressman Lee Zeldin – then nearly hitting a Zeldin campaign staffer with his car, reports the New York Post.
Donata Panico, the volunteer who was almost run over, is a former deli owner and was Congressman Zeldin’s guest at Trump’s State of the Union address earlier this year, in recognition of his efforts to feed Ground Zero workers in the aftermath of 9/11.
It was the latest in a string of attacks against the administration and its allies.
Netflix Phases Out Written Reviews
Netflix is removing a desktop-only feature this summer that allowed users to read and write reviews of TV shows and movies on its website, reports Cnet.com.
People will no longer be able to write their feedback on a show, similar to a Yelp review of a restaurant, by July 30. And in mid-August, people will no longer be able to read existing user reviews on Netflix either.
Catholic Women Pledging Life-Long Chastity
An increasing number of Catholic women are taking life-long chastity vows in order to “dedicate themselves” to God, according to the Vatican, reports The Independent.
According to Catholic teaching, consecrated virgins are unmarried women who pledge to remain celibate for their entire lives, eschewing romantic or sexual relationships to devote themselves exclusively to being mystical “brides of Christ”.
Unlike nuns, they take on no role within the church. Instead of joining a religious order, they continue to live in their own homes and work in conventional jobs.
Zuckerberg Richer than Buffett
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, 34, is now worth $81.6 billion, about $373 million more than Warren Buffett, the 87-year-old chairman and chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway Inc, reports Bloomberg.
City of Boston: No Christian Flag Allowed
Boston has a program that allows groups and individuals to raise their own flags on city poles, after they obtain permission.
So a multitude of flags have waved in Boston’s skies, including the Bunker Hill banner and the flags of Albania, Ethiopia, Puerto Rico, Mexico, China, Cuba, Brazil, Peru, Panama, and Italy.
But what the city doesn’t allow is the Christian flag, the white banner with the red cross on a blue field, reports WorldNetDaily.com.
And that, Liberty Counsel contends, is illegal.
California Couple Guilty of Killing Baby in Womb Themselves
A Bakersfield, California couple accused of fatally injuring their unborn daughter may walk away without charges. The woman confessed she asked her boyfriend to beat her stomach black and blue so the child would die, reports WorldNetDaily.com.
The woman gave birth May 24 in a hospital after 30 weeks of pregnancy to an infant girl who died soon thereafter because of a fractured skull and other injuries.
The woman initially claimed the bruises on her stomach were the result of a fall.
She admitted the boyfriend stopped raining blows on her when she could no longer feel the baby moving.
