Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore on Trial
On Monday, the Alabama Court of the Judiciary denied a motion from the Alabama Judicial Inquiry Commission calling for Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore to be removed immediately from office. However, a trial has been set next month on September 28 to decide whether Moore violated judicial ethics. A panel of nine judges will be investigating Moore’s January 6th administrative order for Alabama’s probate judges to not issue marriage licenses for state-banned, same-sex marriages until the Alabama Supreme Court rules on the issue. During a press conference Monday, Judge Moore spoke out against the JIC.
“You know in law there’s something that says if you’ve got the law, argue the law. If you’ve got the facts, argue the facts. If you don’t have neither one, argue how you feel. And that’s basically what the JIC has done, and the SPLC.”
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5)

Two-Year-Old Boy Refused Treatment in California Transferred to Hospital in Another Country and Is Now Recovering
Two-year-old Israel Stinson was declared brain-dead back in April after being admitted to a hospital in California for a severe asthma attack. The hospital refused to treat Israel. For five weeks, his parents continued to fight for their son’s life. They finally transferred him to a hospital outside of the country that would treat him, and now the little boy is doing much better. Alexandra Snyder, Executive Director of Life Legal Defense Foundation, gave us an update on the case.
“Where we have the state of the art health care here, nobody here would do it, and yet a hospital in a developing country would do the treatment. And as soon as he got on nutrition, as soon as he got that feeding tube, he had no problems; the doctors were amazed at how quickly he recovered. They did both of the procedures the same day. As soon as he got on nutrition, his blood pressure stabilized. He has not been on blood pressure medicine at all since. That was not a function of his brain not regulating his blood pressure, that was a function of him being essentially starved, almost to death.”

We remember the pronouncement given to King Nebuchadnezzar so many years ago: “You will be driven away from mankind, and your dwelling place will be with the beasts of the field. You will be given grass to eat like cattle. . . until you recognize that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever He wishes.” (Daniel 4:32)
