President Trump Says He May Terminate Iran Nuclear Agreement

Last Friday, President Donald Trump struck a blow against the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement in defiance of other world powers, choosing not to certify that Tehran is complying with the deal and warning he might ultimately terminate it, reports Reuters.

“As President of the United States, my highest obligation is to ensure the safety and security of the American people. … Today, I am announcing our strategy, along with several major steps we are taking to confront the Iranian regime’s hostile actions and to ensure that Iran never, and I mean never, acquires a nuclear weapon.”

While Trump did not pull the United States out of the agreement, he gave the U.S. Congress 60 days to decide whether to reimpose economic sanctions on Tehran that were lifted under the pact.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions Says Christians Have to Right to Not Bake Homosexual Wedding Cakes

In a recent interview on the Christian Broadcasting network, Attorney General Jeff Sessions shared his conviction that Christian bakers have the “fundamental right” under the law to refuse to bake cakes for homosexual faux weddings, reports The Christian Post.

“Too often we have ignored what the Constitution actually says. It says ‘Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof.’

“The cake baker has more than just a personal view here. He has a religious view and he feels that he is not being able to freely exercise his religion by being required to participate in a ceremony, in some fashion, that he does not believe in. We think that right is a fundamental right.”

Sessions asserted that the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 states that the government shouldn’t constrict an individual’s religious belief “without a compelling reason to do so. So we think that statute has been ignored too often and not respected sufficiently.”

Trump Administration Affirms Life From Conception in HHS Strategic Plan

The Trump administration has made a move to officially assert that life begins at conception, reports The Independent.

New language was inserted into the Department of Health and Human Services’ 2018-2022 strategic plan which says that the mission was “serving and protecting Americans at every stage of life, beginning at conception”.

Psalm 139:13 declares “For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.”

Pro-Abortion Politicians Sue President Trump over Exemptions for Insurance Coverage of Abortifacients

Pro-abortion politicians in California, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Washington are suing President Donald Trump over his decision to provide broad exemptions to religious employers who object to paying for birth control, including forms that may cause abortions, in their employee health plans, reports the Associated Press.

Twitter Stops Censoring Pro-Life Congresswoman After Pushback

A week ago today, Twitter censored Rep. Marsha Blackburn’s 3-minute campaign video advertisement over her unapologetically pro-life language, reports The Christian Post.

Listen to the words that offended the liberal ears over at the Twitter Castle.

“I’m Marsha Blackburn. I’m a hardcore, card-carrying Tennessee conservative. I’m politically incorrect and proud of it. … I’m 100 percent pro-life. I fought Planned Parenthood and we stopped the sale of baby body parts — Thank God.”

After getting major blowback, Twitter announced last Tuesday that they would allow the Tennessee Republican to condemn Planned Parenthood.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders Tells CNN’s Jim Acosta We Need More Accurate News

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders roasted CNN’s Jim Acosta at a recent press briefing.

Jim Acosta:Sarah, why did the president tweet [Thursday] that he’d like to see the Senate Intelligence Committee investigate news outlets on his quest to go after fake news. Does he value the First Amendment as much as he values the Second Amendment?”

Sarah Huckabee Sanders: “Absolutely, the president is an incredible advocate of the First Amendment.  With those freedoms also comes responsibility. You have a responsibility to tell the truth, to be accurate.”

“I think -right now- when we’ve seen recent information that says that only 5 percent of media coverage has been positive about this president and this administration, while at the same time, you have the stock market and economic confidence at an all-time high, ISIS is on the run, unemployment is at the lowest level it’s been in 17 years. We’ve cut regulations at an historic pace. We’re fixing the VA for our vets.

“You’ve only found 5 percent of your time to focus on some of those issues. And frankly, those are the issues that most Americans care about. I think we need to move towards a more fair, more accurate and, frankly, more responsible news media for the American people.”

Harvey Weinstein’s Brother Bob Calls Him a Depraved Man

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Bob Weinstein, who lived in the shadow of his older brother Harvey Weinstein, called Harvey a depraved man.

While he says he knew his brother was unfaithful to his wife, Bob insists he had no idea about “the type of predator that he was” and is sickened by Harvey’s lack of remorse.

The words of God from Jeremiah 44:10 are just as applicable to this unrepentant Jewish man named Harvey Weinstein as they were to the Jews of Jeremiah’s day. “But they have not become contrite even to this day, nor have they feared nor walked in My law or My statutes.”

Security Guard Set for Interviews on Las Vegas Shooting Disappears

Where in the world is Jesus Campos?

The Mandalay Bay security guard shot by Stephen Paddock in the moments leading up to the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history was set to break his silence last Thursday night with five television interviews, including one with Sean Hannity, reports Fox News.

When the cameras were about to roll, Campos reportedly bolted, and, as of early Friday morning, it wasn’t immediately clear where he was.

Special Report: President Trump Affirms Religious Liberty at Values Voters Summit

Time now for a World View Special Report. I’m Adam McManus

By Adam McManus

President Donald Trump, who became the first sitting president to address the Values Voters Summit, affirmed religious liberty.

“We defend our Constitution. We protect religious liberty. (Applause.) We treasure our freedom. We are proud of our history…

“George Washington said that ‘religion and morality are indispensable’ to America’s happiness, really, prosperity and totally to its success. It is our faith and our values that inspires us to give with charity, to act with courage, and to sacrifice for what we know is right.

“The American Founders invoked our Creator four times in the Declaration of Independence — four times. How times have changed. But you know what? Now they’re changing back again.  Just remember that.

“Benjamin Franklin reminded his colleagues at the Constitutional Convention to begin by bowing their heads in prayer.

“Religious liberty is enshrined in the very First Amendment of the Bill of Rights. And we all pledge allegiance to — very, very beautifully – ‘one nation under God.’ This is America’s heritage, a country that never forgets that we are all — every one of us — made by the same God in Heaven.”

Trump reminded the Values Voters Summit audience of his nomination of a pro-life Supreme Court justice and his affirmation of the sanctity of unborn human life.

“In the last 10 months, we have followed through on one promise after another.

“I appointed and confirmed a Supreme Court justice in the mold of the late, great Justice Antonin Scalia, the newest member of the Supreme Court, Justice Neil Gorsuch. (Applause.)

“To protect the unborn, I have reinstated a policy first put in place by President Ronald Reagan, the Mexico City Policy.”

President Trump was especially eager to prevent the Johnson Amendment from interfering with the First Amendment rights of Christians.

“To protect religious liberty, including protecting groups like this one, I signed a new executive action in a beautiful ceremony at the White House on our National Day of Prayer.

“Among many historic steps, the executive order followed through on one of my most important campaign promises to so many of you: to prevent the horrendous Johnson Amendment from interfering with your First Amendment rights. (Applause.) We will not allow government workers to censor sermons or target our pastors, our ministers, our rabbis. These are the people we want to hear from, and they’re not going to be silenced any longer.

“Just last week, based on this executive action, the Department of Justice issued a new guidance to all federal agencies to ensure that no religious group is ever targeted under my administration. It won’t happen.”

Last Thursday, the president affirmed that the majority of Americans celebrate the birth of Christ at Christmas. And talked about the gift his administration would like to give the American people.

“We’re getting near that beautiful Christmas season that people don’t talk about anymore.  (Laughter.) They don’t use the word ‘Christmas’ because it’s not politically correct. You go to department stores, and they’ll say, ‘Happy New Year’ and they’ll say other things. And it will be red, they’ll have it painted, but they don’t say it. Well, guess what? We’re saying ‘Merry Christmas’ again. (Applause.)

“And as a Christmas gift to all of our hardworking families, we hope Congress will pass massive tax cuts for the American people. (Applause.) That includes increasing the child tax credit and expanding it to eliminate the marriage penalty. (Applause.) Because we know that the American family is the true bedrock of American life.”

President Trump affirmed the important role of parents, who should be the primary authority over children, not bureaucrats.

“For too long, politicians have tried to centralize the authority among the hands of a small few in our nation’s capital. Bureaucrats think they can run your lives, overrule your values, meddle in your faith, and tell you how to live, what to say, and how to pray. But we know that parents, not bureaucrats, know best how to raise their children and create a thriving society.”

In one of the best lines of his Values Voters Summit speech, the president unapologetically talked about the central role that God has in our lives as a country.

“We know that it’s the family and the church, not government officials, that know best how to create strong and loving communities. (Applause.) And above all else, we know this: In America, we don’t worship government — we worship God. (Applause.) Inspired by that conviction, we are returning moral clarity to our view of the world and the many grave challenges we face.”

Despite his America First doctrine, Trump explained that his administration will not walk on eggshells around terrorists.

“In this administration, we will call evil by its name. (Applause.) We stand with our friends and allies, we forge new partnerships in pursuit of peace, and we take decisive action against those who would threaten our people with harm. (Applause.) And we will be decisive — because we know that the first duty of government is to serve its citizens. We are defending our borders, protecting our workers, and enforcing our laws. You see it every single day like you haven’t seen it in many, many years — if you’ve seen it at all. (Applause.)

“In protecting America’s interests abroad, we will always support our cherished friend and partner, the State of Israel. (Applause.) We will confront the dangers that imperil our nation, our allies, and the world, including the threat of radical Islamic terrorism.”

And he addressed ISIS by name.

“We have made great strides against ISIS. They never got hit like this before. But they’ve been just ruthless and they’ve ruthlessly slaughtered innocent Christians, along with the vicious killing of innocent Muslims and other religious minorities. We’ve made their lives very, very difficult — believe me. (Applause.)

“We’ve done more against ISIS in nine months than the previous administration has done during its whole administration — by far.”

In his close, President Trump spoke from his heart.

“As long as we have pride in our country, confidence in our future, and faith in our God, then America will prevail.

“We will defeat every evil, overcome every threat, and meet every single challenge. We will defend our faith and protect our traditions. We will find the best in each other and in ourselves. We will pass on the blessings of liberty, and the glories of God, to our children. Our values will endure, our nation will thrive, our citizens will flourish, and our freedom will triumph.”

Family Research Council President Tony Perkins said, “Since the early days of the campaign, President Trump allied himself with values voters, promising to put an end to the eight years of relentless assault on the First Amendment.”

George Barna has detailed how on Nov. 8, 2016, Christian conservatives altered the course of American history by voting overwhelmingly for and delivering victory to Donald Trump to be the 45th president of the United States, reports The Christian Post.

To the chagrin of secular liberals, particularly in the mass media, Barna believes that spiritually active, government engaged conservatives — SAGE Cons he calls them — continue to leave an indelible mark on American political life. His latest book, The Day Christians Changed America: How Christians Conservatives Put Trump in the White House and Redirected America’s Future, showcases the impact both they and, more broadly, Christians had in the last election.

Barna explains that most conservative Christians who pulled the Republican lever in the general election were not voting for Donald Trump so much so as they were voting against Hillary Clinton and voting for specific issues like originalist Supreme Court justices, legislation protecting the unborn, and for protection against rising threats to religious freedom.

Despite Trump’s glaring warts, he has certainly championed many of the issues that animate Evangelical voters, in the face of a handful of liberal Republicans in the Senate who appear determined to block his conservative agenda.

Bible Society Program Director Meets Fellow Christian in Iraqi Customs

Nabil Omiesh was scared when a Customs official at Baghdad, Iraq Airport confronted him about the children’s Bibles he was carrying in his suitcase, reports EternityNews.com.

The program director for the Bible Society of Iraq had brought the Bibles because he has been ministering to refugees fleeing from ISIS persecution since 2014.

When the Customs officer closed the suitcase and asked Nabil to follow him, he feared that he was in deep trouble.

He said, “You evangelize Muslims, yeah?”

Omiesh said, “We distribute Bibles to churches. And sometimes we distribute food to the churches to give to others.”

The Customs official then mentioned a particular church and asked if he had distributed food and Bibles there. When Nabil said “Yes,” the officer closed his passport and said “Relax. I want to understand why Christians want to help us – we are Muslims.”

It turned out that this man’s son had come home from the church with a package of food and a Bible after he lost his job with the Ministry of Information and couldn’t feed his family. He read it every day for six months and started listening to Christian radio.

As Nabil turned to leave, the officer said, “Hey, brother, anytime you come to Baghdad Airport remember you have a brother here – his name’s Muhammed.” Then he came over and whispered: “I’m your brother in Christ.” As Nabil started to cry, Muhammed revealed that his wife, Sanar, had also turned to Christ.

After Muhammed shared the gospel with his mother, his father became angry, and gave his son two days to repent or be killed.

Nabil said, “He said ‘no way.’ So his cousins just killed him. Sanar told me, ‘if my husband died for Jesus one time, I’m ready to die 100 times for Jesus, so please pray for me.’”

She now leads Bible study with more than 30 women, in groups of two and three. “And this is dangerous … she is a hero,” says Nabil.

In his 32 years with the Bible Society of Iraq, Nabil says he has rarely seen the fruit of his work, so it is amazing when he hears testimonies such as these.

Prime Minister of Hungary Pledges to Support Persecuted Middle Eastern Christians

Hungary’s Prime Minister has pledged to support Middle Eastern Christians suffering persecution, highlighting the plight of those belonging to “the most persecuted religion in the world today”, reports the World Watch Monitor.

Viktor Orbán implicitly rejected immigration as a solution for refugees, and plans to serve the afflicted by helping them return to their ‘ancestral homes’.

Orbán, a controversial conservative leader and Hungary’s Prime Minister since 2010, was speaking yesterday in Budapest, at the International Consultation on Christian Persecution, a conference hosted by his own government.

Orbán said, “Today it is a fact that Christianity is the world’s most persecuted religion. It is a fact that 215 million Christians in 108 countries around the world are suffering some form of persecution. It is a fact that four out of every five people oppressed due to their religion are Christians.

“It is a fact that in Iraq in 2015 a Christian was killed every five minutes because of their religious belief. It is a fact that we see little coverage of these events in the international press, and it is also a fact that one needs a magnifying glass to find political statements condemning the persecution of Christians. But the world’s attention needs to be drawn to the crimes.”

He warned of the “apathetic silence of a Europe which denies its Christian roots”, and said that the violent persecution seen in the Middle East could soon become a reality in the increasingly “mixed society” of Europe.

British MP Plans to Use Domestic Violence Laws to Silence Pro-Lifers at Abortion Mills

There’s a bizarre new pro-abortion strategy to shut down the freedom of speech of Christian pro-lifers in the land of Winston Churchill.

A member of the British Parliament named Rupa Huq plans to use domestic violence legislation to ban pro-life vigils outside abortion clinics, reports Life News.

Clare McCullough of the Good Counsel Network, which is housing 40 women who chose life for their babies, debated the MP on the Daily Politics show.

Rupa Huq: “The emails I’ve received from constituents say that it’s become an unpleasant place to pass because the pavement is lined with fetus dolls, grossly inaccurate pictures that are designed to offend, disturb, cause anxiety. The sole aim is to stop these women from having terminations.”

Interviewer: “Clare, have you got evidence that you’ve changed people’s minds or that women that you you’ve talked to on their way in [to the abortion mill] are persuaded to get help?”

Clare McCullough: “We have evidence that hundreds of women have accepted this help. We are housing about 40 women now in different ways, either housing them in different ways or helping them pay rent. I’ve invited Rupa on Twitter to meet these women; she hasn’t responded.”

Life News reports that McCullough highlighted that the Care Quality Commission reports have revealed what goes on inside Marie Stopes abortion mills, including a case where inspectors had to intervene to stop clinic staff from performing an abortion on a woman with learning disabilities who was not able to grant proper consent.

President Trump Says Iran Deal Was One of the US’s Worst Transactions

Another key excerpt from President Trump’s speech on his decision to decertify Obama’s Iran deal.

“The Iran Deal was one of the worst and most one-sided transactions the United States has ever entered into. The same mindset that produced this deal is responsible for years of terrible trade deals that have sacrificed so many millions of jobs in our country to the benefit of other countries. We need negotiators who will much more strongly represent America’s interest.

“The regime also received a massive cash settlement of $1.7 billion from the United States, a large portion of which was physically loaded onto an airplane and flown into Iran. Just imagine the sight of those huge piles of money being hauled off by the Iranians waiting at the airport for the cash. I wonder where all that money went.

“Worst of all, the deal allows Iran to continue developing certain elements of its nuclear program. And importantly, in just a few years, as key restrictions disappear, Iran can sprint towards a rapid nuclear weapons breakout. In other words, we got weak inspections in exchange for no more than a purely short-term and temporary delay in Iran’s path to nuclear weapons.”

Eighteen States Sue Trump Administration to Stop Scrapping of Obamacare Subsidies

Eighteen states sued President Donald Trump’s administration last Friday to stop him from scrapping a key component of Obamacare, subsidies to insurers that help millions of low-income people pay medical expenses, reports Reuters.

The subsidies cost $7 billion this year and were estimated at $10 billion for 2018, according to congressional analysts.

New Late-Term Abortion Facility in Maryland Is Illegal

Operation Rescue has received confirmation from the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene that the new late-term abortion facility located at 10401 Old Georgetown Road, in Bethesda, Maryland, is not licensed as an abortion facility as required by state law, reports Life News.

The facility, currently operating under the name AbortionClinics.org, Inc., is run by Nebraska late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart.

That means any abortions he plans to do beginning on October 17, 2017, would be illegal.

Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue said, “There is no way Carhart could get the Bethesda location licensed by next Tuesday. It looks like he thought he could sneak some abortions in under the radar without having to comply with licensing laws. This is just another example of how much disregard Carhart has for the law and for the safety of his patients.”

More Testimony from Bob Weinstein on His Brother Harvey’s Character

Here are some key quotes from The Hollywood Reporter’s interview with Harvey Weinstein’s younger brother Bob.

  • “I thought they were all consensual situations.”
  • “I don’t feel an ounce of remorse coming from him, and that kills me too. I don’t feel he feels anything to this day. I want him to get the justice that he deserves.”
  • “I’ll tell you what I did know. Harvey was a bully, Harvey was arrogant.”
  • “I don’t hear concern or contrition for the victims. And I want them to hear that. Harvey has no remorse whatsoever. I have spoken to him two times [since news broke], hoping to hear ‘What have I done?’ I didn’t hear that. I heard a guy who still was fighting to get back and I was disgusted by it.”
  • “I haven’t had a relationship with him as a brother for many, many years. But I’m ashamed that he is my brother, to be honest.”
  • “I’m mortified and disgusted by my brother’s actions. And I am sick for the victims. And I feel for them.”

Actress Jane Fonda Says the Women Harassed by Harvey Weinstein Are Very Brave to Come Forward

When asked by CNBC whether she was surprised by the allegations against Harvey Weinstein, Jane Fonda said this.

“Thank God, women are talking, because back in the day, we were too scared to talk, because we thought no one would ever hire us again.

“Make no mistake: women who come forward and talk about being sexually harassed, abused or raped, it’s very, very, very hard. You don’t get anything out of it, except fingers being pointed at you and too often people not believing you. So it’s very brave of these women to do it and it gives courage to other women.”

Although the actress has not personally worked with the movie producer, Fonda understood how tough it was for women placed in these types of situations.

“If you’ll notice this kind of thing happens to young women who are vulnerable and really can’t well… it’s hard for them to defend themselves. It’s hard for them to have agency over the situation.”

Las Vegas Law Enforcement Gives Contradictory Timelines of the Shooting

Tucker Carlson of Fox News spoke out about the problems with the changing timeline by Las Vegas law enforcement.

“It has now been nearly two weeks since the Las Vegas shooting and, unbelievably, nobody can answer even the most basic questions about what happened.

“We know that shots were being fired at the festival lot at the same time as, or within 40 seconds after, the time Jesus Campos first reported that shots were fired over the radio.

“Metro officers were together with armed Mandalay Bay security officers in the building when Campos first reported that shots were fired over the radio. These Metro officers and armed Mandalay Bay security officers immediately responded to the 32nd floor.

“In the most recent police timeline, provided Monday, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said Paddock fired about 200 bullets from his room at the resort starting at 9:59 p.m. on Oct. 1 — the volley in which Campos was hit — and then began opening fire on the music festival crowd six minutes later.

“Police had earlier said the opposite – that Campos was struck after Paddock started firing out the window.

“Nearly two weeks into the investigation, authorities have yet to disclose a motive for Paddock’s attack, which left 58 dead.”

Man Born with Missing Arm Starts Company to Make Cool Prosthetics for Children

Stephen Davis was born without a left lower arm. And for years he did not have a prosthetic limb, reports SunnySkyz.

After partnering with Drew Murray, a volunteer for e-NABLE, to design and build one using a 3D printer, the 43-year-old inventor launched Team UnLimbited, which creates customized lightweight, “cool” designs that children without limbs want to wear.

Davis told BBC News, “We’ve done Iron Man designs … Lego and Spider-Man. The key is making something the child actually wants to wear and feels is cool enough to show their friends.”

The cost? An amazing $25 per arm thanks to donations.
