Muslim brother of Ugandan Christian attacks him with machete

A 39-year-old man in eastern Uganda, who recently put his faith in Christ, is still recovering from a machete blow to his head by his Muslim brother in late June, reports Morning Star News.  Muslims only comprise 12 percent of Uganda’s population.

Abudlawali Kijwalo, who comes from family of devoted Muslim sheikhs, was grazing his cattle on June 27 in Nankodo, Kibuku District when his brother, Musoga, confronted him.

Family members had warned Abudlawali against listening to Gospel music or claiming that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior. Abudlawali had been listening to a Christian radio station earlier that day.

Musoga asked him, “Are you still a Muslim, or you are now a Christian?”

Abudlawali told him, “I am for Christ.”

His brother revealed a machete that had been strapped beneath his long robe and struck him on the head, sending Abudlawali sprawling and screaming. As he bled heavily, his brother walked away, likely thinking he had killed him. Thankfully, a concerned citizen nearby transported him by motorcycle to a hospital.  Pray for Abudlawali’s ongoing recovery and that his brother will be imprisoned.

Proverbs 21:15 says, “When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.”

Biden Deems Censorship “Applicable To Private Speech”

A week ago Monday on Fox News Channel, Tucker Carlson summarized Big Tech’s censorship of information about COVID, most dramatically revealed in Mark Zuckerberg’s private email to Tony Fauci.

CARLSON: “Last March, as the first big clusters of coronavirus cases started to appear in this country, media executives in Silicon Valley coordinated with officials in Washington to determine how much the public would be allowed to know about the growing epidemic that was killing them.

“Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook e-mailed Tony Fauci at the N.I.H. to assure him that Facebook users would only see Tony Fauci’s approved guidance on COVID- 19. Twitter and Google did effectively the same. Twitter and Google eliminated any post that deviated from Washington’s official line.

“In many cases, they censored information from frontline physicians that was both medically sound, it was the science, and potentially life-saving. Posts about treatments, for example, were downplayed.

“They never apologized for this, they probably never will. Historians will assess it. They will likely record the early days of COVID-19 as a turning point in our society, an unprecedented assault on our most basic civil liberties that somehow very few people seemed to notice when it first started happening.”

Carlson went on to document how President Joe Biden and his minions at the Democrat National Committee plan to censor your private speech on your phone about the effectiveness of COVID vaccines and their side effects.

Listen.

CARLSON: “Today, we learned the Biden administration considers censorship applicable to private speech as well. What you say in private, when you’re alone with your phone, you won’t be able to say or read what you want because the D.N.C. plans to control, and apparently they have the ability to control, the flow of information that you receive on your phone. Nothing that questions official regime policy will reach you.

According to a report in POLITICO — and believe it or not we are quoting it here directly – ‘Biden allied groups including the Democratic National Committee are planning to engage fact-checkers more aggressively and work with SMS carriers (text carriers) to dispel misinformation about vaccines that is sent over social media and text message.’

“Now, we’re going to say that again because it is a sentence we never thought we would see written in English, the D.N.C. is planning to censor any quote, ‘misinformation’ about vaccines that you receive privately over text message.

“So, what does misinformation mean? Here’s the thing you should know. Misinformation is not the same as false information, as factually inaccurate information. Misinformation can be factually true. In fact, it very often is factually true and that’s why they’re angry about it.

“Misinformation is instead anything the Biden administration does not want you to know including, for example, how effective the COVID vaccines actually are and what the potential side effects might be from taking them.”

Rand Paul’s bill repeal public transportation mask mandate

Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky has introduced a bill to end what he called the “nanny state,” referring to a pandemic-related executive order put in place by President Joe Biden, reports FaithWire.com.

On his first day in office, Biden signed a mandate ordering federal agencies to take “immediate action” to order face masks on all forms of public transportation.

The conservative senator’s Travel Mask Mandate Repeal Act of 2021 would ban the federal government from imposing a mask mandate when utilizing any “conveyance” or “transportation hub.”

Senator Paul, a trained medical doctor, said, “The federal government forcing the American people to continue to wear masks despite the fact that we’ve already reached herd immunity is ridiculous and needs to end immediately. I am introducing the Travel Mask Mandate Repeal Act of 2021 to put a stop to this nanny state mandate of requiring masks on public transportation. In a free county people will evaluate their personal risk factors and are smart enough to ultimately make medical decisions like wearing a mask themselves.”

The federal mask mandate was set to expire May 11, until it was extended to September 13 by the Transportation Security Administration.

20 abortion groups sue Texas to stop Heartbeat Abortion Ban

Last Tuesday, more than twenty abortion providers filed a lawsuit against Texas officials in order to block the Heartbeat Law which Republican Governor Greg Abbott had signed which bans abortions if a heartbeat is detected. Fetal heartbeats are typically detected around the sixth week of pregnancy, reports Christian Headlines.

According to CBN News, the legislation also allows anyone, even outside of Texas, to sue abortion providers or anyone who helps someone get an abortion after six weeks of pregnancy. Those winning the lawsuits could be awarded up to $10,000 in damages.

According to the pro-abortion Whole Woman’s Health Alliance, a lead plaintiff in the suit, 85 percent of abortions in Texas happen when a woman is at least six weeks into her pregnancy, reports the Texas Tribune.

John Seago, legislative director for Texas Right to Life, expressed optimism that the bill, which will go into effect on September 1, will be upheld.

TX judge denies US citizen rights, sends to Islamic Sharia tribunal

A judge in Texas earlier this year effectively denied a U.S. citizen her constitutionally protected due process rights, choosing instead to order her to appear before an Islamic tribunal where her testimony is considered inferior. And when her lawyers sounded the alarm — the judge doubled down, reports The Blaze.com.

In March, Collin County District Judge Andrea Thompson ordered a Muslim woman seeking a divorce from her husband to undergo arbitration, not through regular channels, but through an Islamic court, also known as a Fiqh Panel — a move that the woman’s lawyers argued is an obvious and unconscionable affront to her constitutional rights.

The woman, Mariam Ayad, was attempting to exercise her legal right to a divorce last year when her husband, Ayad Hashim Latif, revealed that on the day of their wedding in 2008, she had signed an Islamic prenuptial agreement to have all matters regarding the marriage and divorce be decided according to Sharia law.

According to court documents, Mariam claims that she was essentially hoodwinked and defrauded into signing the document. At the time, she believed she was signing two copies of a marriage acknowledgment form, which is customary in Muslim cultures.

Notwithstanding, Mariam’s lawyers argue the agreement — which outlines that a three-man panel of Muslim imams are to decide all issues relating to the marriage, including alimony, division of property, child support, and even custody of the couple’s 6-year-old son — ought to be voided in lieu of U.S. law.
