Chinese Pastor: Our President is a Sinner, an Evil Man

He has been called the most courageous pastor in China.

Pastor Wang Yi, now under arrest in the province of Sichuan, led the Early Rain Covenant Church in Chengdu. Several months before his arrest, Pastor Yi preached a sermon in which he encouraged Chinese President Xi Jinping to repent and turn to Christ.

The pastor said, if “President Xi Jinping does not repent, he will perish.” He also said the president “is a sinner. . . The government he leads has greatly offended God because he has used force against the church of the Lord Jesus Christ. We must tell evil men like him that they still have a way out. . . that way is the cross of my Lord Jesus Christ.”

9 More Iranian Christians Arrested During Christmas

Nine more Christians were arrested in Iran during Christmas week, as reported in Iranian state news.

That’s in addition to the 150 Iranian Christians arrested by authorities previously in the months of November and December.

Scottish Police: Christians Are Bigots

Police in Scotland are posting signs throughout every city in the country calling Christians “bigots” in large 200-point font.

The post-Christian governments are intimidating Christians with the message, “you can’t spread your religious hate here.” When a Christian group complained, the police department claimed that the initiative was not “based on malice or ill will towards any social group,” according to BarnabasFund.org.

The anti-Christian persecution organization has taken up their complaint with a caucus of Scottish MP’s.

The leaders of these countries will take their fair warnings from Psalm 2: “Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him.”

Facebook Banned Franklin Graham

Facebook banned evangelist Franklin Graham for a post he made two years ago. His post had encouraged the respecting of God’s commands in the face of the North Carolina Transgendered Bathroom scuffle.

Graham pointed out on Sunday that, “The problem with Facebook, [is] if you disagree with their position on sexual orientation then that could be classified as hate speech, or that you’re a racist.”

Major Newspapers Hit by Foreign Malware Attack over Weekend

Major newspapers were impacted by a malware attack over the weekend.

Some of the most liberal news media in America — including the New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, and the Los Angeles Times – had to delay publication on Saturday and Sunday.

The Los Angeles Times called it a “cyber attack of foreign origins.”

Christian-Themed Movies in 2018 Reap $128 Million

2018 proved to be another strong year for Christian-themed movies — with a total of $128 million in box office receipts collected from 13 releases. The market has stayed fairly even from 2015 through 2018.

In 2012, only two Christian-themed movies were released collecting $3 million, and in 2013, eight movies totaled $10 million in box office receipts, as tallied by Box Office Mojo.com.

The most popular Christian-themed movie of 2018 was I Can Only Imagine, collecting $83 million.

Abortion: The Number One Killer in the World

Worldometers.info reports abortion as the number one killer in the world — 42 million abortions in 2018.

That exceeds the number of deaths by cancer, malaria, smoking, alcohol, and traffic accidents combined. Also, that does not include the number of children aborted by the use of abortifacient forms of birth control. At this rate, two billion children are aborted every 50 years.

Psalm 94:6-9, 11 says, “They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. Yet they say, ‘The Lord does not see, nor does the God of Jacob understand.’ Understand, you senseless among the people; and you fools, when will you be wise? He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see? . . . The Lord knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.”

Victim of Fire Praises God for Spared Bible

And finally, a Texas man told Fox News he lost everything in a fire last Friday morning. Except for one thing — his Bible.

Charles House told the news, “[God] said His Word would not perish, and the Bible did not burn. It was scorched, but it did not burn.” A GoFundMe.com page has been established to help him rebuild his home.

Isaiah 40:8 declares, “The grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”
