Afghan Christians are at risk of systematic murder

The 8,000 to 12,000 Christians still living in Afghanistan are at considerable risk of systematic elimination at the hands of the Taliban, according to International Christian Concern.

One Christian leader in country said, “Some known Christians are already receiving threatening phone calls.  [They say] ‘We are coming for you.’”

Frontier Alliance International Missions reports that the Taliban has a hit list of known Christians.  And Release International divulged that at least one Christian has been killed by the Taliban already.

A YouTube video, loaded over the weekend, contains an encrypted message from an Afghan Christian. He laments that “the whole world has abandoned us”, and he says, “We have been left in the field by ourselves. But we are not leaving the field. We will fight harder and continue in God’s work.”

International Christian Concern interviewed another Christian in country who stated the decision of whether to leave or stay is not an easy one for them.

AFGAHN CHRISTIAN: “If you’re about to make a lot of mistakes based on fear, if you’re about to make that decision, that God will give you the peace.  And with that peace, either you will stay or you will leave out – knowing both sides is going to be difficult. One side of becoming a refugee, asylum seeker, is not going to be easy. Staying under persecution is not going to be easy.

“But if God would give me the peace against that fear, that you want to experience God at that moment like Habakkuk. He complained, but at the end, he started worshiping God. We want to see the Afghans really see God, that He is the sovereign God. He is  strong. He is still that mighty, powerful God.”

If you would like to help the Afghan Christians, give through International Christian Concern which has partners on the ground. We have a special link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com.

Glenn Beck’s Nazarene Fund raised $22 million in 3 days, with the goal of extracting 5,000 Christians out of Afghanistan.

Revelation 6:10-11 says, “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.”

Chinese Communists installing prison camps in other nations?

Will the long arm of the Chinese Communists be installing prison camps in other nations around the world?

AP News recently reported on a Chinese prison camp in Dubai, where political prisoners are detained.  Whether the victims are political dissidents, Christians, or ethnic minorities like the Uyghurs, China is using its international influence to go after its citizens around the world.

93 wildfires burned 2.5 million acres in Western states in 2021

Thus far this year, 93 big wildfires have burned down two and a half million acres in the Western states.

California has closed down nine national forests, as the Dixie Fire alone has burned 725,000 acres and the Caldor Fire another 100,000 acres.

The Dixie Fire is the second largest fire in California’s history, second only to the August Complex Fire last summer.

Our response to this news is from Hebrews 12:28. “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.”

5th Circuit Court upholds Texas ban on dismemberment abortions

There is debate surrounding a Texas law as to whether a baby may be legally murdered by tearing the child apart, limb by limb, or by some other form of murder.

Last week, the Fifth Circuit Court upheld a Texas law banning dismemberment abortions, or the use of rigid instruments to rip an unborn baby apart, reports The Christian Post.

However, Whole Women’s Health abortion mill and the Center for Reproductive Rights continue to advocate for the dismemberment method as “the safest and most common methods of ending a pregnancy in the second trimester.”

Thus far, 73% of Americans over 18 have received at least one shot. That percentage is increasing at 1% per week.

The 33-year-old’s messages are carried through Hope Generation.
