Muslim kills 3 Christians in French church
An Islamic militant shouting “Allah Akbar” killed three people with a knife yesterday at the Notre-Dame basilica in Nice, (pronounced niece) France. Officials said the attacker “virtually beheaded” one of the victims at the church. It’s the third attack in France in two months attributed to Muslim extremism.
French President Emmanuel Macron said he would more than double the number of soldiers deployed to protect schools and religious sites. French Roman Catholics have faced targeted extremism for some years now.

British woman with Down Syndrome finds abortion of disabled babies “deeply offensive”
The High Court in London will hear a challenge to a United Kingdom law that allows for the killing of unborn babies right up to birth if the baby has a disability.
Leading the challenge is 25-year-old Heidi Crowter, a woman with Down’s Syndrome. Millions have watched a video of Crowter telling Channel 5 News back in February that the current law is deeply offensive.
CROWTER: “At the moment the law is that a typical baby can be aborted up to 24 weeks. And then a baby with Down’s Syndrome can be aborted up to full term. As someone with Down syndrome, I find it deeply offensive. It makes me really upset and I cry. It reminds me that no one loves me and yet they do.”
President Trump campaigns in Arizona
In a recent campaign stop in Arizona, President Trump addressed how burned out people are with all the COVID shutdowns.
TRUMP: “People are pandemic-ed out. You know that they’re pandemic-ed out. That’s why it’s so great what your Governor [Doug Ducey] has done. He’s opened up your state You’re doing great.”
The Commander-in-Chief underscored the Republican vision for America.
TRUMP: “A vote for Republicans is a vote for safe communities, great jobs, a limitless future, and for the American dream. It’s for the American dream.”
In keeping with that Republican vision, the U.S. Gross Domestic Product grew a record 33.1 percent during the third quarter of this year. This follows a GDP loss of 31.4 percent during the second quarter due to the COVID shutdowns.

Evangelist Franklin Graham is urging Christians to pray first, then vote.
GRAHAM: “Hello, this is Franklin Graham. Have you voted? If you haven’t, please do. This is a great opportunity. We can all be a part of deciding the future of our country. But pray before you vote. Ask God to give you wisdom as who you should vote for. You see, they’re two different visions for the future of our country, two opposite visions. So, pray that God would give you the right choice.”

63-year-old blind woman allowed to evangelize in Rhode Island once again
A blind Christian woman can now return to telling people about Jesus at her local park in Rhode Island.
Back in 2019, officials at the Wilcox Park threatened 63-year-old Gail Blair with arrest just for talking about Jesus and distributing written materials!
After winning her case, Blair said, “I am thankful to First Liberty Institute and all my attorneys for fighting on my behalf and look forward to once again spending time in the park and sharing my faith in Jesus with those who are interested in having the conversation.”
Jesus said in Matthew 10:32, “Whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in Heaven.”
Cruz: Facebook, Twitter, and Google are biggest threat to free speech
The CEOs of the big tech companies Facebook, Twitter, and Google testified before a U.S. Senate Committee on Wednesday to answer for alleged censorship.
Republicans are not only concerned about big tech companies using their power to influence election results, but also to censor conservative, religious, and anti-abortion views.
Senator Ted Cruz of Texas described the three companies as the biggest threat to free speech in America.
CRUZ: “I want to thank you Mr. Chairman for holding this hearing. The three witnesses we have before this committee today collectively pose, I believe, the single greatest threat to free speech in America and the greatest threat we have to free and fair elections.”
California’s bizarre COVID holiday restrictions in private homes
Ahead of the holiday season, California officials are already releasing stringent guidelines for American families in their homes!
The new coronavirus restrictions ban private gatherings of over three households. Attendees must wear face masks and practice social distancing. The private gathering must occur outdoors and not last for more than two hours. Not only that, singing is strongly discouraged during the gathering!
California coronavirus infections have been on a slight upward trend this month, but deaths from the virus have been on a steady decline since July.
Netflix subscribers dropping streaming service over Cuties movie
Netflix saw a big drop in new subscriptions worldwide during the third quarter of this year.
Investors expected Netflix to gain 3.57 million new subscribers during the last quarter, but the movie-streaming service only got 2.2 million new subscribers. In the U.S., only 177,000 people signed up.
The hit comes after Netflix released a controversial movie entitled Cuties which sexualized young, pre-teen girls.
Spain inaugurates first monument to Protestant Reformer
And finally, Evangelical Focus reports that Spanish officials inaugurated the first monument to a Protestant Reformer yesterday.
Evangelical leaders and local political representatives joined the event to remember Casiodoro de Reina. The 16th century Reformer worked to translate the Bible into Spanish for the first time.
Historian Antonio Simoni said, “The last thing that was done to Casiodoro de Reina here, was to burn him in effigy. But today he will be honored just some meters away.”
Deuteronomy 32:7 says, “Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.”
