Hillary Is For Abortion Up to Moment of Birth
In last Wednesday night’s final presidential debate, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton went toe to toe on partial-birth abortion. Janet Folger Porter, the founder of www.Faith2Action.org, who helped to pass the first ban on partial-birth abortion in Ohio in 1994 before 30 states followed suit, spoke with The World View.
“One of the things you’ll notice is that Hillary Clinton did not deny what Donald Trump said. And that is that she is for abortion, even partial birth abortion up until the moment of birth. She talked with women about the pain they go through. Hey, the real pain is the pain that these children go through as they’re delivered four-fifths of the way and having their brains sucked out. It’s barbaric. Hillary Clinton is not only for it, she’s for us funding it with our tax dollars.”
Hillary Clinton Says She Agrees with Catholics on Doctrine of Salvation
During last Thursday night’s Al Smith Catholic Charities dinner in New York City, both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton shared the stage to raise money to benefit the neediest children in the Archdiocese, reports ChristianNews. Hillary Clinton pointed out that she holds theological common ground with Catholics on their doctrine of salvation.
“I believe how we treat others is the highest expression of faith and of service. Now, I’m not Catholic. I’m a Methodist. But one of the things we share is the belief that in order to achieve salvation, we need both faith and good works.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Christian Woman in North Korea Spreads the Gospel in Prison Camp
As Hae Woo languished in a North Korean prison camp for the crime of trying to escape her repressive homeland, she secretly spread the word of God, reports www.Persecution.org. She offered a message of hope inside hell on earth, and she won a handful of converts. They would gather to worship at the toilets of their wretched home. She said, “I remained faithful, and God helped me to survive. Even more: He gave me a desire to evangelize among the other prisoners!” Mrs. Woo ultimately fled to South Korea, where she can now freely practice her faith. But for Christians still living under Kim Jong-un’s regime, worshiping openly carries the risk of being sent to a labor camp, where malnourishment, torture, and death are commonplace. 70,000 Christians were imprisoned in 2015 alone.
Pakistani School Children Being Indoctrinated to Hate Christians
Muslim children throughout Pakistan are being indoctrinated with hatred for Christians, reports Christian Today. “For example, in
first grade, five-year-olds are given a lesson in which they are told: ‘Who am I? I am a Muslim and the other people are infidels.’” And “in sociology books used in seventh grade, 12-year-olds are told to ‘respect the Prophet. Do not trust the Jews or the Christians.’”
Of Pakistan’s 192.8 million population, only 3.9 million are Christians. According to the Open Doors World Watch List, Pakistan is the sixth worst country for persecution for Christians.
Bakers in Northern Ireland Who Refused to Make “Support Gay Marriage” Cake Receive Verdict
Today is Judgment Day — Judgment Day that is for the Northern Ireland Christian bakers who refused to create a cake featuring the Sesame Street puppets, Bert and Ernie, with the campaign slogan “Support Gay Marriage”, reports Christian Today. The Belfast-based Ashers Baking Company, supported by the Christian Institute, will hear the result of their appeal against their conviction today.
73 Dead in Wreck of Overloaded Train in Cameroon
The death toll from an overloaded train that derailed in Cameroon, West Africa last Friday has risen to 73, along with 600 injured. The train carried about 1,300 passengers, well over its capacity limit of 600.
Hackers Disrupt Several Major Websites and Say They Have a Bigger Target
Last Friday, two epic cyberattacks crippled a major internet firm, repeatedly disrupting the availability of Twitter, Netflix, Amazon, PayPal, and Reddit, reports the Associated Press. In the industry, it’s described as Distributed Denial of Service attacks or DDoS, an attempt to flood a website with so much traffic that it impairs normal service.
The hacker group claiming responsibility says that the day’s antics were just a dry run and that it has its sights set on a much bigger target. And the attackers now have a secret weapon in the increasing array of internet-enabled household devices like connected thermostats, security cameras and smart TVs that they can subvert and use to wreak havoc.
Unborn Baby Receives Life-Saving Surgery
Margaret Boemer of Plano, Texas discovered something was wrong with her unborn daughter during her 16-week pregnancy scan, reports CNN. It was a life-threatening condition where a tumor grows on the unborn baby’s tailbone which is dangerous because it takes away blood from the baby as it grows, ultimately shutting down the heart.
So the doctors did something quite unusual. At 24 weeks gestation, they operated for 5 hours, making an incision in Margaret’s uterus, pulling her unborn daughter out, removing the tumor, and finally placing the baby back in the womb and sealing the incision. Other fetal surgeries on unborn babies with spinal or heart problems are equally remarkable, underscoring why these innocents are deserving of protection.
Psalm 139:13-14 declares, “For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Trump Makes a Contract with the American Voter
On Saturday, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump rolled out a Contract with the American Voter in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania that he’ll fight for within the first 100 days of his administration.
First, a middle-class family with two children will get a 35% tax cut. And the business rate will be lowered from 35 to 15 percent.
Second, establish tariffs to discourage companies from laying off their workers in order to relocate in other countries and ship their products back to the U.S. tax-free.
Third, redirect education dollars to gives parents the right to send their kid to the public, private, charter, magnet, religious or home school of their choice.

44 Percent of Nigerian Children Suffer from Malnutrition
Thousands of children in the west African nation of Niger are suffering from severe malnutrition and lack of clean water. ChristianToday.com cites a report from the World Food Program, which states that 44 percent of children in Niger suffer from malnutrition.
Faiycal is one such boy living in Niger suffering from malnutrition. He shared his heartbreaking story, saying, “The pain was so intense that I was afraid I would die,” referencing the many years he struggled with sickness and malnutrition. “I would throw myself on the ground and cry non-stop, that’s how difficult it was for me to deal with my body’s aches.”
Now, however, with World Vision’s help, Faiycal and his family have a farm where they can grow food and Faiycal is well enough to go to school.
Two Towns in Nineveh Liberated from ISIS
As Iraqi-led coalition forces fight to liberate the Iraqi city of Mosul and surrounding areas from the Islamic State, two Nineveh towns that were once home to hundreds of Christian families have finally been liberated from the barbaric death cult, reports The Christian Post.
According to Archdiocese Bashar Warda, the diocese set up 26 displacement centers which have provided humanitarian aid and shelter to thousands of displaced families who fled from their homes in the Nineveh Plains.
American Christian Studying in Turkey Banned from Country for Life
Turkey deported 39-year-old Ryan Keating, an American Christian pursuing doctoral studies at Ankara University on October 17th, revoking his residence visa 10 years after the scholar and his wife first arrived in the country. Keating, his wife and four children have been banned from Turkey for life, reported the World Watch Monitor. Keating is the second American Christian this month to face Turkey’s apparent crackdown against long-time residents of the country involved in active church-related ministries.
