Chinese Communists arrest pastor after hacking email account

The U.S. Justice Department announced charges this week against two Chinese hackers who targeted U.S. COVID-19 vaccine research.

For over a decade, the hackers worked with the support of Chinese officials, stealing hundreds of millions of dollars in sensitive information while hacking governments, human rights activists, and private companies.

Department of Justice spokesperson Kerri Kupec told Fox News that the hackers also targeted a Chinese pastor.

KUPEC: “The Chinese government shut down a Christian house church. Within a week, these two individuals were hacking into this Chinese Christian pastor’s email account, gathered those emails, submitted it to the Chinese government, and the Chinese government then arrested that pastor.”

Britain greenlights citizenship for 3 million Hong Kongers

On Wednesday, British Interior Minister Priti Patel announced that Hong Kong residents with British National Overseas visas could apply for citizenship in the U.K. starting January 2021.

The move would allow three million Hong Kong people to come to Britain after China passed a security law that undermines the autonomy and freedom of Hong Kong.

NY Christian adoption agency cannot have LHBT agenda forced on it

A U.S. Appeals Court ruled in favor of a New York Christian adoption agency on Tuesday, offering the agency a reconsideration of their case over whether New York state officials can force them to put children in homosexual homes.

The court found suspicion of religious animosity on the part of state officials against New Hope Family Services. The ruling noted that New Hope has operated “without complaint for 50 years, taking no government funding, successfully placing approximately 1,000 children.”

Matthew 18:6 says, “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”

Companies developing 150 vaccines for COVID-19

Multiple COVID-19 vaccines are making headway as companies develop some 150 vaccines globally.

Considered to be the most advanced, a vaccine created by AstraZeneca in association with Oxford University has induced strong immune responses from hundreds of their study participants without serious side effects.

Unfortunately, AstraZeneca created the vaccine with a cell line that comes from the tissue of a baby that was murdered in the womb.

Georgia Governor vs. Atlanta’s City Council on face masks

Last Wednesday, Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp issued an executive order, strongly encouraging people in the state to wear face masks, but preventing local authorities from mandating them in public.

Kemp is now suing the city council of Atlanta, Georgia’s capital, for requiring people to wear face masks in public.

As of Thursday, 29 states have state-wide mask mandates during the coronavirus pandemic.

Only 22% of Americans read the Bible

The American Bible Society released their 10th Annual State of the Bible Survey this week.

The study found Americans’ engagement with Scripture has declined over the years, but also this year during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2020, 22 percent of Americans report using the Bible at least several times a week while 34 percent say they never use the Bible. People were more likely to be engaged with the Bible on a regular basis when also engaged with local church and discipleship activities.

Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Secretary Pompeo: “Abortion isn’t a human right. It takes a human life.”

And finally, last Friday, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo addressed the Family Leadership Summit in Iowa.

Pompeo emphasized his department’s fight for religious liberty around the world.

POMPEO: “Right now, four out of five people around the world don’t enjoy full religious freedom, and we’re fighting tooth and nail to change that. We instituted new religious freedom training programs for thousands of our foreign service officers.”

Pompeo also decried abortion, pointing out America’s foreign policy priority to defund entities which perform abortions.

POMPEO: “Our administration has defended the rights of the unborn like no other administration in history. (applause)  Abortion, quite simply, isn’t a human right. It takes a human life. You all know this. The Psalmist says in Psalm 139, ‘You knit me together in my mother’s womb.’”
