Black-masked Antifa thugs bash journalist

Enough is enough. The U.S. Justice Department needs to immediately open a criminal civil rights investigation of Antifa, an affiliation of radical activists and left-wing groups whose name, ironically enough, is short for “anti-fascists.”

That’s the contention of Hans von Spakovsky, the Senior Legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation.

He was understandably upset with the black-masked thugs who beat up Andy Ngo (pronounced “know”), a conservative journalist in Portland, Oregon on June 29th.

Ngo was punched, pushed, robbed, and hit with tossed milkshakes purportedly mixed with quick-drying cement.

Listen to Andy describe the horrific event on Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson.

NGO: “I’m suddenly bashed in the back of my head from behind. When I realized what was happening, it was too late. A mob of people, all dressed in black and wearing masks, started beating me with their fists, and some of them used objects to hit me. They beat me so much that I lost control of my GoPro camera that I was holding which was then stolen from me.

“And when I thought it was over, I was wrong. I put my arms up to try to shield my face as well as to signal to them that I was surrendering, and that I wasn’t there to fight. But it really signaled to them to be more aggressive.

“So, then they started dumping what I believe were milk shakes, and eggs, throwing it at my face which blinded me so that I couldn’t see.  I was kicked some more, punched some more. All this time I kept thinking, ‘Where are the police?’ I could still see the County Justice Center in front of me, but no police ever arrived.

“I eventually stumbled away bleeding. Later that night, after arriving in the emergency room, I had a CT scan that confirmed that I was diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage.”

The Heritage Foundation scholar contends that federal law enforcement has an obligation to stop any extremist group that is apparently organizing and precipitating violent attacks, especially if local authorities seem reluctant to take action.

American Psychological Association pushes polyamory, swinging

The American Psychological Association has declared that monogamy is the new bigotry.

According to the APA’s official description of a bizarre new task force,  people who practice “consensual non-monogamy,” as they call it, are unduly “marginalized.”  They want to celebrate people who practice “polyamory, open relationships, swinging, relationship anarchy and other types of ethical, non-monogamous relationships.”

1 Corinthians 6:18 warns, “Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.”

Only 9 percent of the country agrees with the APA that fidelity is somehow narrow-minded or passé.

British woman shares regret over abortion on TV talk show

A TV talk show on the BBC featured a woman who candidly opened up about her regret over having an abortion at a Marie Stopes abortion mill, reports FaithWire.com.

The woman, Laura Mann, was just 19-years-old when she decided to have her baby killed.

Appearing on The Victoria Derbyshire Show, Mann, who aborted her child at 21 weeks, said she felt pressure and later regret.

MANN: “The nurse that escorted me down to the recovery room, said, ‘Don’t you know what you’ve done?’ And that made me so depressed.  I questioned month-after-month – had nightmares, cold sweats.  What happened to this baby’s body? I felt okay to go in with the abortion, but when I left that clinic that was the beginning of my nightmare.”

According to the 2016 Care Quality Commission report, Marie Stopes’ employees were applying pressure on mothers to abort their babies due to financial “bonus” incentives.

Amazon bans Christian books

Following the removal of books by the late Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, a psychologist who believed that people experiencing unwanted same-sex attraction could embrace their God-given heterosexuality amid LGBT activist pressure, Amazon has removed the works of other authors who once lived and identified as homosexual, reports the Christian Post.

Anne Paulk, author of “Restoring Sexual Identity: Hope for Women Who Struggle with Same-Sex Attraction”, and Joe Dallas, author of “Desires in Conflict: Hope for Men Who Struggle with Sexual Identity”, have also had their books censored by Amazon.com.

The VA allows Bible on POW/MIA remembrance tables

In May, the Military Religious Freedom Foundation filed a lawsuit challenging a POW/MIA Remembrance display at the Manchester, New Hampshire VA Medical Center that includes a Bible.

But here’s the good news.

Last Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced that it has updated and clarified its policies “permitting religious literature, symbols and displays at VA facilities to protect religious liberty for veterans and families.”

Affirming the legitimacy of the Bible was a great decision on the part of the Trump administration.  Proverbs 30:5 declares, “Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.”
