SPLC Says Family Research Counsel is Worse than the KKK
The Southern Poverty Law Center is doubling down on their condemnation of the Family Research Council.
The SPLC has reportedly been the inspiration behind at least one shooting attack on the Christian group. The president of the SPLC, Richard Cohen, called the Family Research Council “worse than” the Ku Klux Klan.
In addition, Cohen’s article on the organization’s website condemned President Trump’s participation in the Values Voters Summit a week ago.
Franklin Graham Speaks Against North Carolina Governor’s Transgender Bathroom Order
North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper made what is being called a “highly symbolic” move towards approving of homosexuality. He signed an executive order allowing men, pretending to be women, into women’s public bathrooms and showers.
Evangelist Franklin Graham called the governor “morally bankrupt.” Using his Facebook outlet, Graham said, “if one woman or one child is molested because of this executive order, he should be held accountable.”
The question from 2 Chronicles 19:2 is apropos: “Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord? Therefore, the wrath of the Lord is upon you.”
Magistrate in England Fired for Standing Against Homosexual Adoptions
A magistrate in Kent, England was fired for his position against sodomite adoptions, and now he has lost his appeal with an employment tribunal, according to a report from The Christian Post.
Richard Page stood by his Christian conviction in an interview with the BBC.
“As a magistrate, my job was to do what was best for the child. To me, the best for the child – and there is evidence that it’s best for the child – is for a man and woman to adopt the child.”
James 1:27 says, “Pure religion is visiting the orphan and widow in their distress, and keeping oneself unspotted from the world.”
Trail Life and American Heritage Girls Provide Christ-Centered Scouting Opportunities
First, the Boy Scouts decided to accept homosexual scouts. Then they gave the green light to homosexual scoutmasters and transgendered scouts. Now, the Boy Scouts have abandoned their historical roots once again, proclaiming that they will admit girls within the year.
No wonder Trail Life, a Christian scouting-type program exclusively for boys founded in 2013, continues to grow exponentially.
Patti Garibay founded American Heritage Girls 22 years ago because the Girl Scouts were dipping their toes into the politically correct waters years beforehand by making the pledge to God optional while promoting lesbianism and abortion.
American Heritage Girls has a clear mission: “Building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country.”
The World View spoke with Kim Paterka, the homeschool mother of 10 children who lives in Canyon Lake, Texas. She is one of the leaders of an American Heritage Girls troop right here in San Antonio.
“American Heritage Girls will never cave to the culture. And I’m grateful for that.”
Paterka loves the Christ-centered focus which doesn’t shy away from moral absolutes.
“As the mother of two daughters in American Heritage Girls, I am grateful that this organization makes God a priority, that it upholds traditional values, and that it will always be a girls-only organization.”
Personally speaking, my 7-year-old son Honor is in Trail Life and my 5-year-old daughter Mercy is in American Heritage Girls. My wife Amy and I recommend both strongly.
International Adoptions Drop 77% Since 2003
International adoptions have hit a 35-year low.
Only 5,300 international adoptions last year. That’s a drop of 77% since 2003.
Yet, according to the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability, funding of adoption ministries is on the way up, increasing 12% just last year. Evidently, the drop in international adoptions is not a lack of willingness on the part of Christian parents. It is more the limitations and bans imposed by foreign governments.
Netherlands Sees Economic Growth While Having No Ruling Government
Netherlands has not had a ruling government since March. And now its economy is doing the best in ten years.
The Institute of Public Affairs notes that Holland’s debt ratio has hit the lowest level since 2010, and has experienced the highest quarterly growth in ten years.
All Five Living Former Presidents Attend Fundraiser for Hurricane Recovery
All five living, retired U.S. presidents showed up at a fundraiser over the weekend for the Hurricane Recovery Fund, at Texas A&M University.
Country music singer Lee Greenwood MC’d the event, attended by popular singers Lady Gaga and Lyle Lovett.
Many Australian Churches Declare Support for Homosexual Marriage
Leaders from the Anglican, Uniting Church, Church of Christ, and Quaker faiths in Perth, Western Australia have declared their support for sodomite marriages.
However, the Sydney Anglican diocese remains in support of the “No” Campaign for the national postal vote, condemning homosexual faux marriage. That’s in contrast with most of the rest of the Anglican church in the country. The Sydney diocese gave $1 million to the “No” campaign.
In a final push, the Yes to the Homosexuality Vote crowd brought out 10,000 people in a rally over the weekend.
Girl Knocked Out of Kayak By Great White Shark Rescued
Praise God for His deliverances!
A young girl paddling around in the Southern Australian oceans was knocked out of her kayak by a 15-foot great white shark. As the shark came around to attack her in the water, her father and brother came by in a motor boat and rescued her.
They spoke to AdelaideNow.com.au about the rescue.
“We turned the boat on as quick as we could and we got to her, and then I basically just nearly jumped over the side trying to get her out of the water, and – just doing what a dad and a big brother would do.”
