Christian Man in India Frozen to Death and Denied Burial
In the small village of Kubuaa, India, Bartu Urawn and his wife were told to deny Christ. When the Urawns refused, they were forced to spent a cold winter night in a freezing pond from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m. with groups of villagers watching to ensure the couple didn’t leave the frigid water, reports Global Christian News.
The couple’s son, Beneswar, said, “The villagers kept asking my father if he is ready to forsake Christ. He reiterated every time, ‘I will not deny Christ…I will continue to believe till my last breath.’”
The elder Urawn fell ill after the freezing water caused nerve damage and later died. Beneswar attempted to bury his father, but villagers stood around the body with wooden sticks and were ready to attack anyone who attempted to bury him.
Dutch Doctor Gives Alzheimer’s Patient Lethal Injection While Her Family Holds Her Down
A Dutch doctor, carrying out a lethal injection on an elderly female Alzheimer’s patient, ordered her family to restrain her when she resisted, creating what even euthanasia advocates called a “horrible picture,” reports the National Catholic Register.
Although she never verbally requested to die, her husband and doctor made the decision for her, and the doctor ordered a sleeping drug, Dormicum, concealed in her coffee, “which she was not told about because she would have objected.”
The case in Amsterdam is one of several similar instances of resistance, including “a sex-abuse victim in her 20s, a 41-year-old alcoholic, a woman with ringing in her ears, and now an Alzheimer’s patient.”
National Security Adviser Michael Flynn Resigns
U.S. National Security Adviser Michael Flynn resigned Monday night after conceding that he gave “incomplete information” about whether he discussed sanctions with Russia’s ambassador to Vice President Mike Pence. Such conversations would breach diplomatic protocol and possibly violate the Logan Act, a law aimed at keeping private citizens from conducting U.S. diplomacy, reports Fox News.
The president, after accepting Flynn’s resignation overnight, tweeted yesterday morning that, “The real story here is why are there so many illegal leaks coming out of Washington?”
Attorney General Jeff Sessions Ends Government Support of Obama’s Bathroom Bill

Georgetown University Professor Says Slavery Isn’t Morally Evil
Jonathan Brown, a Georgetown University professor who teaches about Islamic civilization, gave a bizarre and disturbing lecture questioning why anyone agonizes over the morality of slavery, reports WorldNetDaily.com.
“Slavery cannot just be treated as a moral evil in and of itself because slavery doesn’t mean anything. The moral evil is extreme forms of deprivation of rights and extreme forms of control and extreme forms of exploitation. I don’t think it’s morally evil to own somebody because we own lots of people all around us and we’re owned by people.”
Brown addressed the International Institute for Islamic Thought – an organization with suspected ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Indian and French Governments Place Restrictions on Cash Spending
Jim Rogers, an American businessman who made his name in the 1970s after founding a top-performing fund with George Soros, has prophesied the death of cash and total government control of spending, reports the MacroVoices Podcast.
Rogers noted that “the Indians recently … withdrew 86 percent of the currency in circulation, and they have now made it illegal to spend more than … $4,000 in any cash transaction. In France, you cannot use more than $1,000.”

WalletHub Rates San Francisco as the Healthiest of 150 Most Populated American Cities
According to WalletHub, Detroit is the unhealthiest city in America, and San Francisco is the healthiest in a study of the country’s 150 most populated cities.
To reach their findings, WalletHub graded each city using 34 categories split among four groups: health care, food, fitness, and green space.
Since participating in sexually perverted behavior, which leads to illness and premature death, was not on the politically correct list of categories, San Francisco’s first place finish appears dubious.

ACLJ Urges UN Human Rights Council to Acknowledge Genocide of Religious Minorities
The American Center for Law and Justice has asked the United Nations Human Rights Council why it continues to be silent and refuses to formally identify Christians and other religious minorities as victims of genocide at the hands of the Islamic State terror group, despite well-documented evidence, reports the Christian Post.
The ACLJ noted that despite filing an urgent testimony nine months ago at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights explaining the various horrors have faced, including beheadings, crucifixions, enslavement, rape, forced conversion, and other forms of violence, a formal recognition of the genocide is still lacking.
AFA Urges President Trump to Protect Religious Freedom
In just a week, 100,000 citizens have now signed an American Family Association petition urging President Donald Trump to protect religious liberties by signing an executive order.
Tim Wildmon said, “AFA wants to ensure that the president and his administration will keep this crucial issue front and center, especially as many Americans have paid a hefty price for fighting for their religious liberties, such as losing their businesses, savings and more. Chinese Businessman Wants to Acquire Millennium Films
Founded in 1996, Los Angeles-based Millennium Films produced the three “Expendables” movies starring Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger which have totaled more than $800 million worldwide. Now a Chinese businessman, Tony Xia, who holds a doctorate from Harvard University, seeks to acquire Millennium Films, reports Bloomberg News.
Chinese money has financed Hollywood blockbusters including installments of the “Transformers,” Mission: Impossible,” and “Fast & Furious” franchises.
One Chinese conglomerate, Dalian Wanda Group, went on a buying spree to become the largest theater operator in the U.S. and also paid $3.5 billion for its own American film production house, Legendary Entertainment.
But as China’s foray into Hollywood deepens, some U.S. lawmakers have called greater scrutiny over such deals.
Brazilian Town Starts Up Socialist Wealth Redistribution Program
In Marica, Brazil, a seaside town of about 150,000 people near Rio de Janeiro, the left-wing municipal government has embraced a socialist redistribution of wealth, reports AFP News. The town’s 14,000 poorest families will get an additional $3.20 per month on top of their $27 monthly welfare check.
Opposition politician Filippe Poubel denounced the foolishness, saying, “People want to work, they want to earn their income with dignity. They would be a lot happier if the mayor would create jobs and offer them decent hospital care.”

Following in Hillary Clinton’s footsteps, another Obama appointee used private email for work, according to the non-partisan government watchdog outfit Judicial Watch.
Through a Freedom of Information Act request, they reveal 216 pages of documents of emails from Jeh Johnson, the former Department of Homeland Security Secretary, and three other top staffers.
And perhaps the biggest finding was the fact that Homeland Security, under Obama’s White House, claimed to be the bastion of solid cybersecurity while using unsecured, private web-based email accounts that the Department had officially prohibited.

Trump Could Potentially Appoint Half the Federal Judiciary
Conservatives are itching to counter eight years of former President Obama’s appointments. During his two terms and despite Senate sluggishness, he appointed about 40 percent of the federal judiciary, reports the New York Times.
Currently, 112 of the 870 authorized federal judgeships with lifetime appointments remain vacant. But it’s not just vacancies. The federal bench has many judges who are older than 70. If all the federal judges who are eligible take senior status during President Trump’s first term, he could appoint half of the federal bench.
