Christian Leaders Intimidated by Homosexual Movement

Tim Wildmon, president of the American Family Association, explained to The World View why he believes Christians have been overly muted in the public square on the topic of homosexuality.

“The LGBTQ movement has – they’ve been very effective in seminaries, in colleges and universities, on television and the media, social media as portraying people who object to their lifestyle as being hateful, as being bigots.

“Christians don’t want to be called that. They don’t engage on the topic because they don’t want to be called those names or presented in that way. They end up abdicating their responsibility Scripturally to tell the truth because the Bible clearly teaches that homosexuality is a sin.

“Quite frankly, the other part of it is cowardice. A lot these Christian leaders and pastors they are scared of confronting that issue because they see what happens to people who do confront that issue. So they just run for the tall grass when it comes to that issue.”
