400 attacks on Christians in India

United Christian Forum reports Christians in India suffered 400 violent attacks in the first half of this year.

That’s nearly double the 274 incidents of persecution during the same period last year.

This year, the attacks occurred in 23 out of 28 states in the country

David Curry with Global Christian Relief told CBN News, “Regardless of how they frame it, whether its ethnic violence or anarchist, it seems to always be that the Indian government is overlooking and even in some cases encouraging violence against Christians in India.”

Charges dropped again British pro-lifer

Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, authorities have dropped charges against a pro-life army vet and father.

In January, Adam Smith-Connor prayed silently near an abortion mill. Local officials issued him a fine for doing this within the censorship zone around the mill.

On Tuesday, Alliance Defending Freedom UK reported authorities dropped the matter.

Jeremiah Igunnubole with ADF said, “While we are pleased to see Adam walk free today, others . . . have had to face criminal trial for the same activity – praying silently in their minds near an abortion facility.”

Millennials: “Misgendering” should be criminal

new survey by Redfield & Wilton Strategies found that nearly half of U.S. Millennials believe so-called “misgendering” should be a crime.

Forty-four percent of those aged 25-34 think “referring to someone by the wrong gender pronoun (he/him, she/her) should be a criminal offense.” Thirty-eight percent of the next older generation, those 35-44, also believe “misgendering” should be a crime.

However, the picture changed for Generation Z, those 18-24. Only 33% believe “misgendering” should be a crime.

Overall, 19% of Americans believe that when you refer to someone who is  pretending to be the opposite sex, if you dare to refer to their actual biological sex, you’re a criminal.

Jesus said in Matthew 19:4, “He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female.’”

Biden raised $72 million vs. Trump who raised $35 million

U.S. political campaigns released their fundraising reports Saturday for the second quarter of this year.

President Joe Biden’s campaign for re-election next year topped the list at $72 million.

Among Republicans, former President Donald Trump led in fundraising with $35 million. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis brought in $20 million.

The latest Reuters/Ipsos poll found Biden barely leading Trump 37% to 35% in a hypothetical matchup. Between Trump and DeSantis, Trump led 47% to 19%.

Unique rain delay sponsorships by Ark Encounter

Answers in Genesis is promoting the Ark Encounter by sponsoring rain delays at nearby baseball games.

Ken Ham with Answers in Genesis tweeted on Sunday, “It was exciting to see a double rainbow during a rain delay at the Cincinnati Reds game Saturday evening as storms went through the area. … We are also sponsoring Faith Day on August 5th at the Cincinnati Reds game, so we encourage you to come out and visit with us.”

God said in Genesis 9:13, “I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the Earth.”

Floridian couple shared what they love most about The Worldview

Derrick and Vivia in Florida City, Florida, who came to America from Jamaica, gave $600 to The Worldview on Tuesday.  I called them up last night.

Derrick explained what he liked most about the newscast.

DERRICK: “When you give the news from Africa, and in different parts of the world, that Christians are being persecuted, we pray about it. It pulls at our hearts to know that our fellow brothers and sisters are being persecuted. We don’t hear it in the media here. You’re the only station that we can listen to and get what’s happening to our fellow brothers and sisters all over the world.”

Vivia, his wife, shared with me what she likes the most.

VIVIA: “I like when you put the Bible verse at the end of the story. The Bible comes alive!”

She offered a challenge.

VIVIA: “I want to challenge other listeners to give whatever you can afford to The Worldview that it will spread and further the Gospel and be a light in this dark world.”

8 Worldview listeners gave $2,355

Eight Worldview listeners donated toward our $80,000 goal by Monday, July 31st to keep this unique Christian newscast on the air for another year.

Our thanks to Jess in Forestville, California who gave $25 and Jessica in Delmar, Maryland who gave $30.

We thank God for Wolfgang in Millersburg, Ohio, Troy in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Cathy in Fate, Texas – each of whom gave $50.

And we were touched by the kindness of Duane and Anita in Moriarty, New Mexico who gave $150, Ashley in Markle, Indiana who gave $200, and Shea in Valley Center, Kansas who pledged $100/month for 12 months for a total gift of $1,200.

As promised, Shannan in Alexandria, Minnesota matched the first $600 of Shea’s gift with an additional $600 of her own. Shannan has now matched a total of 10 people who gave at least $600.

Those 8 new donations add up to $2,355. Ready for our new grand total? Drum roll please. (Drum roll sound effect) $43,901.16 (Crowd cheering sound effect)

In order to hit our $60,000 immediate goal by tomorrow night at 12 midnight, July 21st, we need to raise $16,098.84.

For some reason, the donations have dropped off right when we need them to pick up steam.  We need 5 more people to pledge $100/month, 8 more people to pledge $50/month and 16 more to pledge $25/month.  Can you see the Lord using you to help us get to the Friday night deadline?

Just go to TheWorldview.com and click on “Give” at the top right to give what the Lord is prompting you to donate.  Make sure to select the “Recurring” tab if that’s your wish.
