Australian Reformed Churches Take Biblical Stand

Last Thursday, the Synod of Free Reformed churches of Australia decided to terminate the sister relationship with the Reformed Churches of the Netherlands over the latter’s endorsement of allowing women to serve in elective church office.

In an attempt to justify their unbiblical position, Reformed Churches of the Netherlands delegate, Dr. M. H. Oosterhuis, said, that the reason why Apostle Paul forbade women to be office bearers was merely a cultural one, not divinely ordained.

Titus 1:6 says, “An elder must be blameless, faithful to his wife.” And 1 Timothy 3:8 says, “Deacons likewise must be men of dignity, not double-tongued, or addicted to much wine or fond of sordid gain.”

Plus, the view that Scripture is without error is supported in 2 Timothy 3:16. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”

Angel Families: Separated from Family Members Permanently

President Trump on Friday met with Angel Families at the White House on Friday, reports Fox News.

“These are the American citizens permanently separated from their loved ones because they were killed by criminal illegal aliens. These are the families the media ignores. They don’t talk about them. Very unfair.”

Laura Wilkerson, one of the Angel mothers, shared about the murder of her 18-year-old son, Josh, in 2010.

“He was brutally tortured, strangled over and over, set on fire after death. His last hours were brutal. None of our kids had a minute to say goodbye. We weren’t lucky enough to be separated for five days or 10 days. We are separated permanently.”

Liberal Restaurant Owner Kicks Out White House Press Secretary

On Friday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and  seven of her family members, got kicked out of The Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia because the owner takes issue with President Trump’s conservative politics, reports The Daily Mail.

On Saturday, her father, Governor Mike Huckabee, tweeted: “Bigotry. On the menu at The Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington VA. Or you can ask for the ‘Hate Plate’. And appetizers are ‘small plates for small minds.’”

Oklahoma Gubernatorial Candidate: Abolish Human Abortion

If you live in Oklahoma, or you have friends or family who do, listen carefully.

Election Day is tomorrow, Tuesday, June 26th. There’s a candidate for governor named Dan Fisher. While he is a pastor, former school teacher, and served two terms in the Oklahoma legislature, what makes him unique is his “ASAP” platform. “A” — Abolish abortion, “S” — State Sovereignty, “A” — Audit everything, and “P” — Proper government.

“I’m Dan Fisher. I’m a statesman, not a politician. I’m running for governor to establish proper government and assert state sovereignty to abolish human abortion. I’m not just pro-life; I’m an abolitionist. I’m trying to end abortion. All my opponents are pro-lifers. There’s a real difference between the two.

“If I thought any of the other guys running for governor would establish justice, they would assert state sovereignty, I probably wouldn’t even be in this race.”

Hypocrite Hogg: Gun Control Advocate Has Armed Guards

Gun control advocate David Hogg, the 18-year-old who attended the Parkland, Florida school where a student murdered 17 people in February, now has a book deal, publicists — and armed guards.

Jim Gerber tweeted, “Perfect Hypocrite Hogg. Speaking out every day about taking other people’s guns, but oh so willing to have people with guns protecting him.”

Christian Actor Chris Pratt Speaks Out for God

Known for roles in the Avengers: Infinity War, Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Lego Movie, Christian actor Chris Pratt accepted the Generation Award at this year’s MTV Movie & TV Awards which aired last Monday.

Pratt shared “9 Rules from Chris Pratt”, some humorous and some spiritual.

Two of them were about our soul and God.

“#2. You have a soul. Be careful with it.”

“#6. God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that, I do.”

And the last two points were equally compelling.

#8. Learn to pray. It’s easy, and it is so good for your soul.

#9. Nobody is perfect. People will tell you that you are perfect just the way that you are; you are not! You are imperfect. You always will be. But there is a Powerful Force that designed you that way, and if you are willing to accept that, you will have grace. And grace is a gift. Like the freedom that we enjoy in this country, that grace was paid for with Somebody Else’s blood. Do not forget that. Don’t take that for granted.”

Black Christian Democrat:  Our Party’s Misguided Secular Worldview

Justin Giboney, an Atlanta-based black Christian attorney and former Obama delegate to the Democratic National Convention, says that the party’s donor class’ push for a secular worldview is “out of tune” with the views of many black Christians in the Democratic Party, reports The Christian Post.

For example, Giboney takes issue with DNC President Tom Perez assertion last year that it is “not negotiable” that every Democrat running for office should support a woman’s right to abortion. To make matters worse for Christian Democrats, liberal lawmakers on different occasions have criticized Trump nominees over their religious views, beliefs, and associations.
