Kidnapped Egyptian Christian woman reunited with family

Rania Abd El Misseh, an Egyptian Christian woman, mother of three and an elementary school teacher, was kidnapped on April 23rd by two veiled women.

Three days later, a video began circulating of Rania renouncing her faith and converting to Islam. But many noticed she was under great duress in the video and likely was being forced to convert. The Grand Imam of Al-Azhar confirmed that Rania had not declared any Islamic conversion to the Islamic authorities and Rania remains strong in her Christian faith.

In God’s providence, on July 15th, Rania reunited with her family. In May, local police arrested three of the men who were responsible for her kidnapping, reports International Christian Concern.

Proverbs 19:21 says, “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.”

New COVID-19 symptom: skin rashes on body, roof of mouth

Researchers examined 21 patients at a hospital in Madrid, Spain who had skin rashes and confirmed cases of coronavirus, reports The Daily Mail. One-third of the patients had enanthem, which are rash-like lesions that usually form in the mouth.

All the patients with the rash-like splotches were between ages 40 and 69 and four of the six were female.

What’s more, these splotches usually appeared about two weeks after people first experienced more well-known symptoms such as fever or shortness of breath.

Biden: “I wish we taught more in our schools about the Islamic faith.”

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden spoke at the virtual Million Muslim Votes Summit on Monday, reports Fox News.

BIDEN: “I wish we taught more in our schools about the Islamic faith. I wish we talked about all the great confessional face. It’s one of the great confessional faiths. And what people don’t realize is, one of my avocations is theology, don’t realize is that we all come from the same root here in terms of our fundamental basic beliefs.

“I just want to thank you for its for committing to action this November. You’re registering and turning out one million Muslim voters this November. It matters. Your voice is your vote. Your vote is your voice. Muslim Americans voices matter to our communities to our country.”

Contrary to Biden’s assertion, the false religion of Islam with its false prophet of Mohammed does not share the same root with Judaism or Christianity at all.  Muslims worship the moon god, not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Exodus 20: 1-3 says, “God spoke all these words: “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. “You shall have no other gods before Me.”

Hank Hanegraaff, host of The Bible Answerman, summarized what Islam teaches in his book Muslim: What You Need to Know About the World’s Fastest Growing ReligionWatch this 3-minute video.

McConnell, Trump want $1 trillion of more stimulus checks

Yesterday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made clear that he supports another round of stimulus checks to Americans. The economy needs “another shot of adrenaline” amid the coronavirus pandemic, reports Fox News.

McConnell, R-Ky., has been in negotiations with top congressional Democrats and the White House on what the next coronavirus bill would look like, as the Trump administration is pushing a package with a price tag of $1 trillion.

Muslim Democratic Congresswoman Omar could lose primary

Muslim Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, a member of the Radical Left Squad, might lose in an upcoming primary, reports The Sun.

Her opponent, Antonne Melton-Meaux raised $3.2 million while Omar only raised $471,600 in the second quarter of 2020, according to filings with the Federal Election Commission.

When asked what inspired him to run for office, Melton-Meaux told Insight News that Omar’s controversial comments about Israel and pro-Israel lobbyists do not represent his values.

Columnist George Will plans to vote for Joe Biden

In an interview with the Washington Post’s Susan Page, columnist George Will revealed that he will vote for Joe Biden for president this November, reports RealClearPolitics.com.

PAGE: “Who do you plan to vote for in November?”

WILL: “Biden.”

PAGE: “Biden. Have you voted for a Democrat before?”

WILL: “Never.”

PAGE: “First time you’ve ever voted for a Democrat for president?”

WILL: “That’s right.”

PAGE: “You literally don’t have a party because you left the Republican Party and registered as unaffiliated four years ago, right?”

WILL: “I did. On June 2nd, 2016, my friend Paul Ryan, then Speaker of the House, endorsed Donald Trump. The next morning I changed my registration, reasoning that someone as cheerful, intelligent, public spirited, policy oriented as Paul Ryan is going to endorse Trump, then nothing will prevent the normalization of him. And I didn’t want to be part of that.”

PAGE: “I realize your vote is supposed to be secret, so you can refuse to answer, but who did you vote for four years ago?

WILL:  “I wrote in [Republican Senator] Ben Sasse [of Nebraska].”

Screen time for kids up 500%

One survey of more than 3,000 parents found that screen time for their kids had increased by 500% during the pandemic, reports NextGov.com.

As far back as the late 1990s, children between the ages of 3 and 5 years old were averaging two and a half hours per day with their screens.

Labrador walks 50 miles to old home

And finally, a yellow Labrador named Cleo who disappeared from her home in Kansas earlier this month turned up a few days later on the front porch of her old home in Missouri — about 50 miles away, reports the Associated Press.

According to KMBC-TV, Colton Michael, the new homeowner, checked on her microchip.

MICHAEL: “Well, that’s the people that used to live here.”

Cleo’s owner, who moved to Olathe, Kansas, was baffled.

OWNER: “It’s the most bizarre story. Really. She’s everything to us.”

At first, she wouldn’t let anyone get near her, said Michael, who has lived in the home for nearly two years.

MICHAEL: “Finds her way home and there’s a bunch of there’s some strangers living in it. That’d be scary for anybody.”

Neither family knows how Cleo made the trip, which would have required her to cross at least one river.

MICHAEL: “That’s a hike, I mean for anybody.”
