Chinese pastor arrested for holding sign to pray

Gao Heng, a Chinese Christian and member of Guangzhou Bible Reformed Church, was arrested last June after holding up a sign reading “June 4: pray for the country” on the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre, reports China Aid.

His case is scheduled to come to trial before the Chinese government on February 11.

Before his arrest, Gao posted an unapologetic message on social media. He wrote, “People usually attribute the cause of all social sufferings to the ugliness of politics and social systems. The root cause, however, evolves from the sinful nature of human beings.

“I say, ‘Thank you, God. We are all sinners. But because of Your amazing grace, we have the opportunity to repent, accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, and become Your children.’”

Please, remember Gao Heng in prayer. And lift up his unsaved family members during this difficult time.

Czech Supreme Court: Vaccine passports are illegal

In the Czech Republic, unvaccinated people are currently denied admittance to restaurants, hotels, and other public venues. But that’s about to change, the Czech News Agency reported earlier this week.

The Supreme Court of the Czech Republic has declared vaccine passport requirements for restaurants, clubs, and hotels to be illegal.

Judge Petr Mikeš said that to require vaccine passports for such venues is the same as making a voluntary vaccine mandatory. He explained, “people would have no choice but to be vaccinated if they wanted to live normally.”

The court order abolishing the requirement for proof of vaccination is scheduled to go into effect seven days after it was issued.

Australian Christian college caves to the culture’s immorality

Last week, Citipointe Christian College, located in Brisbane, Australia, published its enrollment standards to inform prospective students that the college holds a biblical stance on gender and sexuality.

The statement read, in part, “The college will only enroll the student on the basis of the gender that corresponds to their biological sex.”

The college also labeled sexual immorality, including homosexuality, as “sinful” and “offensive to God.”

After the publication of these standards though, a discrimination complaint was filed with the government’s statutory accreditation board, reports The Guardian.

After increased pressure from the Human Rights Commission and the Queensland Education Minister Ignazia Grace, who expressed disapproval of the college’s position, Citipointe Christian College decided to withdraw its enrollment requirements!

In a statement published on the college’s website on February 3, Citipointe’s principal, Pastor Brian Mulheran, stated, “We deeply regret that some students feel that they would be discriminated against because of their sexuality or gender identity, and I apologise to them and their families on behalf of the College.”

Education Minister Grace expressed approval as the college retracted its Christian standards. She exclaimed, “In the interests of the mental health of students, staff, and parents, I hope they abandon it completely and nothing like it ever surfaces again!”

Proverbs 25:26 reminds us, “A righteous man who falters before the wicked is like a murky spring and a polluted well.”

Pray that Citipointe’s principal and teachers would have the courage to stand on biblical truth even in the face of this ungodly opposition.

President Biden’s empty Prayer Breakfast rhetoric

Appearing at the 70th annual National Prayer Breakfast, President Joe Biden, the first Catholic Commander-in-Chief elected since John F. Kennedy, made these remarks.

BIDEN: “President Eisenhower was the first president to attend this breakfast 70 years ago. At the time, President Eisenhower said, ‘There’s a need we all have in these days and times for some help, which comes from outside ourselves.’ Outside ourselves.

“I’ve attended many of these Prayer Breakfasts over the years with our nation at war, in struggle, in strife, in peace, in times of prosperity, where everybody’s getting on. But the nation in prayer. Jill and I are humbled by the prayers of so many of you, and it means everything to us.”

Sadly, despite Biden’s seeming endorsement of the importance of prayer, he still supports baby-killing in the womb and sodomy which God condemns.

Matthew 15:8 says, “These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.”

South Dakota becomes first state to ban men from women’s sports

Last night, South Dakota became the first state to prohibit biological males from women’s and girls’ sports in 2022 with a law signed by Republican Governor Kristi Noem, reports LifeSiteNews.com.

Appearing on Fox News with Jesse Waters, Noem took a stand against the trangender insanity.

NOEM: “We recognize there’s a lot of different competitions, such as academic, debate, speech, that your biological sex isn’t that much of a factor.

“But it is when it comes to sports. And here in South Dakota, in our K 12 system and at our college level, we’re going to ensure that those girls have a chance to compete.”

The crash of Facebook

Facebook lost daily users for the first time in its 18-year history in the final quarter of 2021, which CEO Mark Zuckerberg believes was caused by the TikTok boom, reports The Daily Mail.

The social media giant’s devastating earnings report on Wednesday sent Facebook shares plunging more than 20 percent, wiping more than $200 billion off the company’s market cap and erasing $29 billion from Zuckerberg’s net worth.

Facebook reported a drop of nearly 500,000 in daily logins during the last three months of 2021, according to the Washington Post.

Home schooling skyrocketed during pandemic school closures

And finally, in God’s providence, the pandemic has in many ways facilitated a personal, one-on-one educational model as numerous parents have been given the opportunity to school their children at home.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Household Pulse Survey, the number of homeschooling families in the U.S. doubled in the 2020-2021 school year during the heart of the COVID-19 crisis.

The Lord declares in Isaiah 45:6-7, “I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things.”

Michelle Obama: Democrats’ 2024 ‘break glass in case of emergency’ candidate

In light of President Biden’s dismal polling, there is an early assumption that he is a failed one-termer channeling Jimmy Carter. That has raised the possibility of Hillary Clinton’s presidential comeback.

Joe Concha’s Hill headline – “Hillary 2024? Given the competition, she may be the Dems’ best hope” – crystalized the party’s leadership problem. However, as the Democrats’ “best hope,” Hillary pales in comparison to another former first lady, Michelle Obama.

Do you know who topped 2021’s list of the world’s most admired women? According to a global survey conducted by YouGov, Michelle Obama was the leader. Kamala Harris ranked 11th, with Hillary Clinton 12th.
