Communist China has banned “Christ” from social media
China has banned “Christ” and other religious words from social media apps under a new policy that went into effect on March 1st, reports ChristianHeadlines.com.
The policy also requires licensing and training to post Christian and religious content on the internet.
The Chinese Communist Party’s new law prohibits people from posting religious information on the internet unless they have first obtained permission from the government, according to China Aid.
In Acts 4:18, the teachers of the law called Peter and John in again [before the Sanhedrin] and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.”
Ketanji Brown Jackson confirmed to U.S. Supreme Court
Yesterday, from the U.S. Senate chambers and with a big smile, Vice President Kamala Harris made the announcement that the U.S. Senate had voted to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, reports CBS News.
HARRIS: “On this vote, the yeas are 53, the nays are 47. and this nomination is confirmed.” (applause)
Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski & Mitt Romney supported Leftist judge
To their shame, three Republican senators voted to confirm the Leftist judge to the highest court including Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Mitt Romney of Utah.
Listen to Romney’s defense of Jackson.
ROMNEY: “As a result of our meeting for an hour together and reviewing her testimony before Congress, I became convinced that she’s within the mainstream. She’s also a highly qualified, intelligent, capable person. And I wish her the very best.”
While Jackson became the first Black female justice on the Supreme Court, I’m not sure how much President Biden and the Democrats can gloat since, just days ago, Jackson herself was unable to even define what a woman was!
BLACKBURN: “Can you provide a definition for the word ‘woman’?”
JACKSON: “Can I provide a definition?”
BLACKBURN: “Yeah.”
JACKSON: “No. I can’t.”
BLACKBURN: “You can’t?”
JACKSON: “Not in this context. I’m not a biologist.”
BLACKBURN: “The meaning of the word woman is so unclear and controversial that you can’t give me a definition?”
JACKSON: “Senator, in my work as a judge, what I do is I address disputes.”
Senator Cruz reveals Judge Jackson soft on child pornography
In a press conference yesterday, Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, who sits on the Judiciary Committee and interrogated Judge Jackson on the issues, was deeply disappointed.
CRUZ: “Based on her record, I believe she will prove to be the furthest left of any justice to have ever served on the Supreme Court. Based on her record, I think we can anticipate that she will vote consistently to undermine the constitutional rights of Americans, to undermine our rights to free speech to undermine our rights, to religious liberty, to undermine our rights under the Second Amendment to keep and bear arms.”
Senator Cruz revealed how extreme Judge Jackson’s record is in criminal law.
CRUZ: “If you examine her time as a federal district judge, for all criminal cases before her court, she sentenced criminal defendants, on average, to 29.9 months. The average nationally, for all federal judges, and that includes Republican district judges Democrat district judges — that includes judges appointed by Barack Obama, by Bill Clinton, by Jimmy Carter — the average nationally is 45.1 months. Judge Jackson’s is 34% less than that at 29.9.”
And Senator Cruz was also dismayed by the ridiculously lenient sentences that Judge Jackson handed down for the possession of child pornography.
CRUZ: “For the possession of child pornography, the national average for sentencing is 68 months. Judge Jackson’s average sentence for the exact same crime is 29.2 months — 57% lower than the average sentenced imposed by other federal district judges. This is a nomination that was out of the mainstream. And I believe it’s a nomination that jeopardizes the constitutional rights of every American.”
Proverbs 11:1 declares, “The LORD detests dishonest scales.”
Christians upset with Fox News over hiring Bruce Jenner
Conservative Christians recently criticized Fox News for adding former Olympic athlete and reality star Bruce Jenner, who is pretending to be a woman, as a contributor to its network programming, reports the publication Church Leaders.
Reformed Baptist pastor John Carpenter tweeted “Jenner is male. In English, we use ‘he’ for males,” in response to Fox News’s post referring to Jenner by a female pronoun. If you can’t tell the truth about simple biology, how are we supposed to trust you with the news?”
Theologian James White wrote, “Dear @FoxNews: The moment Bruce Jenner appears on my screen on Fox is the moment you join MSNBC and CNN. Cancelled. And believe me, I am not alone. A man, pretending to be a woman, … is an insult in any sane, moral world.”
And Ken Peters, the founding pastor of Patriot Church in Lenoir City, Tennessee, wrote, “Fox News just hired Jenner, and they are calling him a ‘her’ officially. This is how Satan wins… All he needs is a toe-hold.”
Christians protest Disney for helping to sexualize kids
And finally, ever since Disney opposed the Florida’s Parental Rights Bill which prohibits the teaching of sexual preference and gender identity to Kindergarten through third grade students, Christians have risen up to express their outrage, reports FaithWire.com.
On Wednesday night, worship leader Sean Feucht led a crowd of fellow conservatives and Christians who descended on The Walt Disney Company headquarters in Burbank, California to protest Disney’s radical homosexual agenda.
Feucht told CBN’s Faithwire, “Parents across America were blindsided by the fact that Disney would enable people that are fighting for the sexualization of children, starting in kindergarten.” He said we need to fight those who want “to groom and sexualize kids.”
Christians are already planning to boycott the latest Toy Story movie called “Lightyear” because of an explicit lesbian kiss.
Matthew 18:6 declares, “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in Me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
