Indian orphanage denied renewal permit

A Christian orphanage in a central Indian state has been denied a renewal of its permit to receive foreign charitable funds, intensifying concerns about religious freedom and governmental oversight in the country governed by a Hindu nationalist party.

The Department for Women and Child Development in Madhya Pradesh State declined to renew the license for Adharshila Sansthan, an orphanage in Damoh district managed by a Protestant couple, reports UCA News.

The state is governed by the pro-Hindu Bharatiya Janata Party, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

An official from the orphanage, who wished to remain anonymous, said that they have been operating since 2005 and have always complied with legal requirements.

Argentinian presidential candidate describes abortion as “murder”

Argentine presidential candidate Javier Milei has expressed his strong pro-life view in an interview with Tucker Carlson that has garnered an astounding 363 million views as of Saturday morning, reports LifeSiteNews.com.

Milie said, “Philosophically speaking, I am in favor of the right to life. Beyond that, there is a scientific justification to be had. It’s the fact that life begins at conception. It’s at that very instant that a new being begins to evolve, with its own unique DNA.

“While it’s true that women have the right to their own bodies, the child in a woman’s womb is not her body. That makes abortion murder, enabled and aggravated by a power imbalance against a child that has no way to defend itself.”

Milei stressed that abortion is part of the socialist agenda.

The presidential candidate stated, “It’s a murderous agenda. The agenda of abortion. As a consequence of what humans are doing to the planet, they promote the murder of people still in their mother’s womb.”

He called the abortion agenda a “bloodthirsty policy, in which some humans believe they should decide who should live and who should not. It is the utmost expression of hubris.”

Milei asked, “How can a person decide who will live and who will not? I want to say it clearly: The socialists’ hands are stained with blood. They will always have blood on their hands.”

Listed among the seven things the Lord hates in Proverbs 6:17 is “the shedding of innocent blood.”

The Argentinian election will occur on Sunday, October 22, 2023. Pray that Javier Milei is elected.

Hunter Biden indicted

Here in the United States, Hunter Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, was indicted last Thursday in federal court in Delaware on three counts tied to possession of a gun while using narcotics, reports NBC News

Two counts accuse Biden of having completed a form indicating he was not using illegal drugs when he bought a Colt Cobra revolver in October 2018. The third count alleges he possessed a firearm while using a narcotic.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem’s reported affair

Married Republican South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has engaged in a years-long affair with longtime Donald Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski, according to five sources who spoke to The New York Post on Friday.

The liaison emerged one week after Noem, a 51-year-old mom of three, formally endorsed Trump, 77, for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, raising the pitch of speculation that the 45th president would pick her as his running mate.

Lewandowski, age 49, was Trump’s first 2016 campaign manager and widely credited with engineering his victory in the 2016 New Hampshire primary, which bolstered the real estate mogul after a loss to Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas in the Iowa caucuses.

One source told The New York Post that the affair has been widely known in Republican political circles for “years,” adding that Noem’s husband Bryon moved out of the governor’s mansion roughly two years ago.

Exodus 20:14 says, “You shall not commit adultery.”

DeSantis: I “put on the full armor of God.”

On Friday, Family Research Council held their annual Value Voters Summit, now renamed Pray. Vote. Stand., at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis discussed his faith.

DeSANTIS: “I don’t know how you could be a leader without having faith in God. When you stand up for what’s right, in this day and age, that is not going to be cost free. You are going to face blowback. You’re going to face attacks. You’re going to face smears. And it’s the faith in God that gives you the strength to stand firm.

“Some people ask me, ‘How do you become a good leader?’ Well, one of the first things you need to do is put on the full armor of God.” (applause)

(You can watch DeSantis’ speech in this video, beginning at the 46-minute mark.)

Ephesians 6:10-11 says, “Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”

Trump recalled his Supreme Court appointments that led to Dobbs

And finally, former President Donald Trump also spoke at the Family Research Council event. He highlighted his three pro-life Supreme Court picks which led to the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

TRUMP: “We withstood vicious attacks to confirm three great Supreme Court justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. (applause) I’m also very proud to be the most pro-life president in American history. (applause) Very proud of that.

“From my very first day in office, I took action to protect the unborn. I reinstated the Mexico City Policy. You know what that is. Stopped taxpayer funding for the abortion industrial complex, which is what it’s called. And I was the first sitting president to ever attend the March for Life rally right here in Washington, D.C. (applause)

“One year ago, in a victory that conservatives had been seeking for exactly 50 years, those Supreme Court justices, together with others on the court, ruled to end the moral and constitutional atrocity known as Roe v. Wade.” (applause)
