Algeria, Africa, a Muslim country, continues to close churches

Over the past few years, officials in Algeria, African have forced at least 16 separate churches to close.

This is alleged because of their unregistered status, most of which are affiliated with the Evangelical Protestant Association, reports International Christian Concern.

DNC to Twitter: Censor damaging story on Hunter Biden

Last Friday, Elon Musk, who recently bought Twitter, revealed that the Democratic National Committee demanded that Twitter censor the October 2020 tweet of 75-year-old conservative actor James Woods about the damaging New York Post story on Hunter Biden’s laptop, reports The Blaze.

On October 14th, 2020, the New York Post wrote a story entitled, “Smoking-gun email reveals how Hunter Biden introduced Ukrainian businessman to VP dad.”

Amid revelations about Hunter Biden’s alleged depravities and then-presidential candidate Joe Biden’s potential exposure to bad actors the world over, Woods took to Twitter on Oct. 24, 2020, to poke fun at both Bidens.

Now, with his suspicions confirmed and the truth finally brought to light, Woods announced on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” that he would sue the Democratic National Committee.

Listen.

WOODS: “I can guarantee you one thing: I will be getting a lawyer. I will be suing the Democratic National Committee no matter what. Whether I win or lose, I am going to stand up. And I’m hoping other people will too.

“I will quote the immortal words of Joseph Welch when he attacked [Senator] Joe McCarthy for the ‘enemies’ list’ he had. ‘At long last, sir, have you no shame?’

“President Biden, all of your little operatives in the DNC who have targeted American citizens, ‘Have you, Mr. President, no shame?’”

While Woods made an excellent point, the actual words uttered by Joseph Welch, the Chief Counsel for the U.S. Army, on June 9, 1954 while the Army was under investigation for alleged Communist activities, were “Have you no sense of decency?” It was considered the death nail of McCarthy’s crusade.

WELCH:  “You’ve done enough. Have you no sense of decency, sir?  At long last, have you left no sense of decency?”

Ron DeSantis has a new book coming out in early 2023

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has written a book entitled The Courage to Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival to be released February 28, reports The Washington Examiner.

In addition to highlighting his fight for freedom and decency, he will discuss Casey’s battle with cancer.

Most Americans subscribe to false New Age beliefs

Nearly nine out of 10 Americans say they believe in at least one New Age tenet like karma, while about a quarter believe in reincarnation and astrology, reports The Christian Post.

A YouGov poll released last week asked 1,000 adult Americans whether they hold 20 beliefs loosely defined as “new-age spiritualism.”

Roughly 55% of Americans said they believe karma is real, while 41% believe in hypnosis, 39% believe in UFOs/extraterrestrials, and 29% believe in the “law of attraction,” also known as manifesting, which states that positive or negative thoughts will bring correspondingly positive or negative experiences.

The Apostle Paul, in Colossians 2:8 warns, “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.”

Florida’s proposed Human Life Protection Amendment

Pro-life Floridians are collecting signatures for a ballot initiative to amend the Sunshine State’s Constitution to explicitly recognize “The right to life of the preborn individual is God-given, thus unalienable and recognized accordingly. Therefore, it shall not be infringed at any stage of development.”

If passed, the Human Life Protection Amendment would protect the unborn as persons, thereby prohibiting abortion from conception, reports LifeSiteNews.com.

Mark Minck, State Chairman of Protect Human Life Florida, said, Florida “has become a haven for abortion,” falling third in line for the highest number of abortions performed in 2021, behind only California and New York. Indeed, 80,000 Floridians mothers killed their pre-born babies through abortion last year.

MINCK: “To fight for life, we have to enter the battle. Will you help us? It was Dietrich Bonhoeffer who said that ‘silence in the face of evil is itself evil. God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak, is to speak. Not to act is to act.’ It’s time to speak. It’s time to act on behalf of those who cannot speak or act for themselves.”

Proverbs 31:8 says, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.”

Senator Paul: Fauci is directly responsible for COVID pandemic

And finally, appearing on Fox News last Thursday, Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky begged to differ with a Washington Post interview characterizing Dr. Anthony Fauci as a “hero” and a victim. He pointed to evidence which shows the retiring director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases funded research directly responsible for a pandemic blamed for the deaths of millions worldwide.

Listen.

PAUL: “Likely there is no public health figure that has made a greater error in judgment than Dr. Fauci. The error in judgment was to fund gain-of-function research in a totalitarian country, fund research that allowed them to create super viruses that, in all likelihood, accidentally leaked into the public and caused seven million people to die.

“Think about it. This is right up there with decisions, some of them malevolent or military to kill millions of people, this accidental, but it goes to judgment. You think he might apologize to the world for funding research that allowed super viruses to be created in a lab, a lab that was not properly outfitted for safety, that people were already reporting was dangerous.

“For the last two years he’s been covering his tracks, but we’ve got him red handed and he won’t get away. Historically, he will be remembered for one of the worst judgments in the history of modern medicine.”
