Six Christians in India Released from Prison
Six Christians in India’s Jharkhand state were recently released after a month in jail on false charges, reports Morning Star News.
Hindu extremists in Ghosra village attacked the Christians back in September while they prayed for a sick Hindu woman. Officers then beat some of the Christians and imprisoned them for “promoting enmity between classes.”
One of the Christians, Dasrath Karketta, said, “We spent one month in jail joyously – we sang hymns, read the Bible, prayed and worshipped together.” Karketta said other inmates came to Christ as they shared the Gospel in jail.
Acts 16 recounts how the Apostle Paul and Silas were “praying and singing hymns to God” after being beaten and imprisoned for the Gospel. They even preached salvation to the jailor who “rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.”
EU Court Opens Hearing on Homosexual Faux Marriage
Last week, the European Court of Justice opened a hearing on recognizing faux marriage between two men, or two women. The ruling could redefine marriage in the European Union, where half of the member states hold to a biblical definition of marriage, including Romania.
The case arose after Romania denied permanent residency to an American man committed to vile passions with a Romanian man who both wanted the country to recognize their union.
Today Show Host Matt Lauer Fired for Inappropriate Behavior
Over 30 leaders of government, media, and entertainment in the U.S. have faced accusations of sexual harassment after the exposure of Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, according to the New York Times.
And now, NBC announced yesterday that they have fired Matt Lauer, the two-decade host of the “Today Show,” over inappropriate behavior in the workplace.
Listen to how NBC’s Savannah Guthrie announced the news on the air yesterday morning.
“For the moment, all we can say is, ‘We are heartbroken.’ I’m heartbroken for Matt. He is my dear, dear friend and my partner. And he is beloved by many, many people here.
“And I’m heartbroken for the brave colleague who came forward to tell her story, and any other women who have their own stories to tell. And we are grappling with a dilemma that so many people have faced these past few weeks.
“How do you reconcile your love for someone with the news that they behaved badly? I don’t know the answer to that. I do know that this reckoning that so many organizations have been going through is important, it’s long overdue, and it must result in workplaces where all women, all people, feel safe and respected.”
Matt Lauer’s second wife Annette Roque reportedly filed for divorce in September of 2006, but later withdrew the lawsuit, according to court documents obtained by the National Enquirer. Roque said she suffered “cruel and inhumane” treatment from the news anchor.
Psalm 62:9 says, “Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.”
Christian Attorney Patti Lyman Addresses Matt Lauer Case
The World View spoke with Patti Lyman, a conservative Christian attorney based in Fairfax, Virginia about former Today co-host Matt Lauer.
“I really am not a bit surprised that Matt Lauer’s immoral behavior and that of many of his ilk – other people that share his political views – have come to the surface. These are people that have been defending all manner of sexual assault by Bill Clinton and almost any elected Democrat for years. It’s an anything-goes mentality while they pretended to care about women. I am not at all surprised they’ve been engaged in this activity. I’m only happy that now, finally, some people are coming forward and they’re being held accountable.”
Lyman contends that Lauer appears to be guilty not only of sexual assault, but of hypocrisy.
“What I find particularly interesting about Matt Lauer is that apparently he and other people at NBC were involved with Billy Bush in October of 2016 in the timing of the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape that was designed to bring down the candidacy of Donald Trump even though Donald Trump, in that tape, was not talking about sexual assault or anything of the kind.
“Ironically enough, while Matt Lauer thought that he would use this tape to ruin Donald Trump’s candidacy, Matt Lauer himself was the one that was engaging in sexual assault and using his power and celebrity to get away with it.”
National Court of Spain Strips Planned Parenthood Subsidiary of Government Benefits
The murder giant Planned Parenthood is losing traction internationally, reports Life Site News.
Last week, the National Court of Spain ruled that the Family Planning Federation, a subsidiary of Planned Parenthood, can no longer be designated a “public service organization,” stripping the organization of government benefits.
This comes after the subsidiary was exposed for illegal financing for seven years.
David said in Psalm 5:2, “[God] shall destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.”
Federal Court Says Military Must Follow Obama’s Transgender Memorandum
On Monday, a federal court clarified a ruling from last month to block President Trump’s ban on transgender troops in the military.
U.S. District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly said the U.S. military must receive people pretending to be another gender by January 1. Kollar-Kotelly said her original injunction means the military must continue to follow President Barack Obama’s transgender military memorandum from last year.
Gender Confusion a Point of Major Split Between Christians and Non-Christians
A recent survey by Pew Research found a major split between Christians and others on gender issues.
The majority or 63 percent of Christians in America, mostly Protestants, say someone’s gender is determined by their sex at birth. However, 62 percent of those who do not affiliate with a religion, mostly atheists and agnostics, support gender confusion.

“We’re transparent about who we are, and I think God is opening up doors for us. We’re supporting the Christian Memorial Hospital. It has been there for nearly 50 years and has great favor in the community.
“That hospital is doing really complicated orthopedic surgeries you can’t do down in the outpatient clinics or the primary health care clinics that are there. Whether it’s with clean water and sanitation and medical care, we can be the hands and the feet of Christ.”
