Former Trump Aide Defies Mueller
A former Trump campaign aide, named Sam Nunberg, has surprisingly appeared on multiple media outlets saying that he would defy a subpoena issued by Russia special counsel Robert Mueller.
Listen to this excerpt compiled by USA Today.
“They want me over at the grand jury. Why do I have to go? Why? … They wanted every communication that I had with Roger Stone and Steve Bannon who I talk to frequently.
“Mr. Mueller, I’ve been warned, not to go after him. I’ve been warned that, you’re wrong, that he’ll take you down. Why should I give him every communication I’ve had from November 1 of 2015 with my mentor, Roger Stone, and with Steve Bannon?”
Trump Economic Advisor Quits
CNBC reports that President Trump’s chief economic advisor, Gary Cohn, has resigned on the heels of a decision by Trump to impose stiff tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.
The former Goldman Sachs president had strongly opposed tariffs.
Judge Allows DACA Program to End
While Judge Roger Titus does not agree with the political decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or DACA program, he insisted that courts do not have the authority to set immigration policy, reports World Magazine.
Two other courts, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in California and another in the Eastern District of New York, previously placed injunctions on Trump’s DACA order, allowing the program to continue.
Trump challenged lawmakers in September to find a legislative solution for DACA, but they have failed to coalesce around a bill.
Porn Star Sues the President
Pornography star Stormy Daniels claims that she was paid $130,000 of hush money by President Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen to keep her from talking about an alleged intimate relationship she had with the former “Celebrity Apprentice” star which began in 2006, a year after he married Melania, and into 2007, reports NBC News.
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, claimed in the lawsuit yesterday that Trump never signed the nondisclosure agreement that his lawyer had arranged with her, thus invalidating it.
Proverbs 7:21-23 warns against the adulterous woman. “With persuasive words she led him astray; she seduced him with her smooth talk. All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life.”
Nashville Mayor Resigns over Adulterous Affair, Theft
Nashville Democrat Mayor Megan Barry resigned yesterday 30 minutes after she pleaded guilty to a felony theft of $11,000 related to her scandalous affair with her former police bodyguard Sgt. Rob Forrest, reports The Tennesean.
Judge: “What is your conditional plea to the charge of theft of property? Guilty or not guilty?”
Megan Barry : “Guilty.”
Judge: “I find there’s a factual basis for the plea and the plea is freely and voluntarily given.”
The adulterous couple went on a total of 10 city-funded trips by themselves without other staff present, including conferences in Greece and Paris, France.
The former mayor has agreed to reimburse the city the $11,000 and serve three years of probation.
Former Christian Countries Looking for Atonement Without Christ
In a powerful World Magazine column entitled “All guilt, no atonement”, Janie Cheaney contends that the nations most racked by guilt all share a Christian heritage, but have by and large abandoned the faith.
She writes that “enough Christian conscience remains to convict them, but without Christ they have no means of restoration. Guilt becomes its own atonement, meaning it never ends until someone dies.”
1 Peter 3:18 declares, “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit.”
Muslim Imam Intrigued by Museum of Bible
And finally, the president of the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. revealed that the imam of a local mosque was so moved while exploring the exhibits with his family that he urged his Muslim friends to visit the museum, reports The Christian Post.
During the National Religious Broadcasters’ International Christian Media Convention last week in Nashville, Museum of the Bible President Cary Summers said he’s consistently surprised by the “mix of people” that come to visit the museum, which opened last November.

Fatherlessness Is Key to Mass Shootings
Warren Farrell, author of “The Boy Crisis”, addressed the uptick in school shootings.
“The biggest single problem that creates school shootings — either minimal involvement from Dads or no involvement from Dads. That comes usually after divorce. And also comes from the 51% of women under 30 who are raising children without father involvement. After two years of not being married, 40% of fathers drop out completely.
“That combination accounts for all of your school shooters—Adam Lanza, Stephen Paddock, Nikolas Cruz — they are Dad-deprived boys. We don’t see this in girls or Dad-involved boys. The solution is father involvement.”
