Sanders’ Supporters Don’t Want to Support Hillary Clinton
Despite Senator Bernie Sanders’ insistence that his supporters get behind Hillary Clinton, his call for unity at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia was met with boos on Monday night.
“We have got to elect Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine.” “Booooooooo! Boo! Booooo!”
Interestingly, Sanders told NBC News this past June, even after Clinton was declared the presumptive nominee, that he was the best candidate to defeat Donald Trump in November.
Michelle Obama Says This Election Is About Government Involvement in Our Childrens’ Lives
First Lady Michelle Obama, in an emotional speech on Monday at the Democratic National Convention, insisted that this election is about more government involvement over the lives of our children.
“This election is about who will have the power to shape our children for the next four or eight years of their lives.”
Mike Pence Reaffirms Trump’s Promise to Appoint Pro-Life Justices
In an interview with PBS, Republican Vice Presidential Nominee Mike Pence reaffirmed Trump’s promise to select pro-life justices to the Supreme Court.
“Donald Trump is pro-life. And I believe in the sanctity of life. And we’ve had some heart-to-heart conversations about the Supreme Court of the United States, and about the importance of making sure that our next president appoints justices to the Supreme Court who will not only uphold the rule of law, but will advance the principles enshrined in the Constitution of the United States. I’m grateful for Donald Trump’s pro-life views. And I’m grateful that he’s expressed those views so publicly and openly.”

Christian Who Was Persecuted by Muslims Now Shares the Gospel with Them
A Christian man who was once brutalized by Muslims now devotes his life to sharing the Gospel with his persecutors, bringing thousands to Christ. Christian Aid Mission reports that Brother Rachid became a Christ follower at the age of 12 after hearing the gospel through a radio ministry, followed by four years of correspondence courses. Furious at their son for turning his back on the Muslim faith, Rachid’s devout parents kicked him out of his home, leaving him homeless for two years and then taken in by a missionary family. Rachid was forced to flee Morocco just a few years later after a radical Islamist infiltrated his house church, threatening his life. Once his wife, who was pregnant with their first child, was safe in a different country, he felt the Lord calling him to go back and minister to Muslims. Rachid had opened the Book of Acts, and asked, “Didn’t these people preaching Christ also have families? If we don’t do it, who’s going to do it?”
ISIS Terrorists Murder French Priest at His Church
It was 9:45 a.m. Tuesday morning. Father Jacques Hamel, an 84-year-old French priest, had just finished delivering his homily when two young ISIS-affiliated Muslim terrorists stormed the church shouting “Allahu Akbar.” The radical Islamist killers, one of whom was a 19-year-old Frenchman, forced the Catholic priest to his knees and slit his throat while filming their grisly savagery in the church near the Normandy city of Rouen. For two years, ISIS has pledged to bring its war on the West into the very sanctuaries of Christianity. Deuteronomy 32:35 reminds us that God will avenge this priest. “In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.”
Violence Against Nigerian Christians Increasing
4,000 Nigerian Christians have been killed in 2015 alone. And tragically, the bloodshed and violence is not slowing down, but growing exponentially. The failure of the Nigerian government to prosecute the Islamic radical factions like Boko Haram and the Muslim Fulani herdsmen only serves to embolden them, reports The Christian Post.
Charges Against Daleiden and Merritt Dismissed
Good news on the pro-life front. The L.A. Times reports that Texas judge Brock Thomas dismissed the last remaining politically motivated charge yesterday against 27-year-old David Daleiden and 63-year-old Sandra Merritt, the two pro-life activists who made undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood officials selling baby body parts.
Amos 5:24 says, “Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!”
A&E Reality Program About People With Down Syndrome
A new A&E reality program is putting a positive edge on young people with Down Syndrome. The program follows seven adults living with the genetic disorder, and doing very well, thank you very much. One of the stars in the show, Sean McElwee, was pretty excited when he saw the billboard on Sunset Blvd, in Los Angeles. He posted a pic of himself with outstretched arms and a big smile, and wrote, “My mom took me to see my billboard. Thank you Jesus!”

It’s the world’s deepest underwater sinkhole, located in the South China Sea in the Paracel Islands. The Xinhua News Agency reported that after nearly a year of exploration, Chinese researchers have determined that the underwater sinkhole is 987 feet below the surface, surpassing the previous record holder, Dean’s Blue Hole near the Bahamas, by more than 300 feet.
Bill Clinton’s Speech Last Night Very Unique
The Washington Post captured how unique Bill Clinton’s speech was last night. The Post wrote, “A husband speaking on behalf of his wife — that has been done before. A former president speaking in support of a prospective president is also nothing new. But the combination of the two is unprecedented. A former president who wants to be the First Gentleman extolling the virtues of a former first lady who wants to be president. Only the Clintons.”
McDonald’s Plans to Add More Options to All-Day Breakfast Menu
When the newly ensconced McDonald’s CEO Steve Easterbrook ordered the Golden Arches to start serving Egg McMuffins all day long last October, it was a welcome change and boosted sales. CNN Money reports that McD’s saw a healthy 5.4% growth in the first quarter of the year. However, more recently, McDonald’s domestic sales grew just 1.8%, barely half what Wall Street analysts had been banking on. Easterbrook acknowledged that because grocery store prices haven’t risen as fast as restaurant menu prices, “there’s a value to be had for families” by eating at home. To seduce the consumer back, McDonald’s plans to add more breakfast sandwiches to the all-day menu this fall, including biscuits and McGriddles, and they’re looking at possible fresh, not frozen, beef patties and healthier options like kale salad.
Pokemon GO May Be a Privacy Risk
Pokemon GO is all the rage these days as smartphone users go on a technically-souped up adventure to find Pokemon characters that are tied to GPS coordinates. In the process however, their privacy might be compromised, reports WorldNetDaily.com. Niantic, Inc., the app developer, granted itself full access to users’ Google accounts when it first released the Pokemon GO app. Marc Rotenberg, president of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, wrote in a letter to the Federal Trade Commission, that this was almost certainly a violation.
