President Trump Plans Travel to Several States to Promote Tax Reform
President Donald Trump plans an aggressive travel schedule, taking him to as many as 13 states over the next seven weeks, to sell the idea of a tax overhaul as the administration tries to avoid repeating the communications failures of its attempt to repeal Obamacare, reports Bloomberg Politics.
The strategy calls for the president to visit states he won where a Democratic senator is up for re-election next year, including Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Montana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said they hope to make the new provisions of tax law retroactive to the start of the year.
President Trump Gets Mostly Negative News Coverage
President Donald Trump never got a three-month honeymoon from the American press, as is the tradition. According to the Media Research Center’s analysis, 89 percent of the media’s Trump coverage was negative during the first three months of the administration.
And the hostility continues unabated. In June, July, and August, broadcast evening news coverage of Trump was 91 percent negative.
Hillary Clinton Says She Will Continue to Speak Out
Former secretary of state and twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has a message for Democrats who want her to fade into the background: she’s not going anywhere.
Clinton made that clear in an interview promoting her book “What Happened” with National Public Radio’s Rachel Martin.
Rachel Martin: “There are some Democrats out there saying they don’t want you to do that. That writing this book is opening old wounds, re-litigating a past and it doesn’t help move the party forward. Have you reconciled that, that people might not want you around as the party steps forward?”
Hillary Clinton: “Well, they don’t have to buy my book, and they can turn off the radio when they hear me talking. (laughing) I’m not going anywhere. I have the experience, I have the insight, I have the scars that I think give me not only the right, but the responsibility to speak out.”
A new Rasmussen poll that came out yesterday found that 61 percent of likely voters think it’s time for Hillary Clinton to retire.
Nancy Pelosi Prompts Audience to Applaud
Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi felt compelled to coach, in real time, a homosexual audience about when to applaud during a speech she was giving, reports the American Mirror.
In an especially awkward moment, Pelosi told GLAAD to applaud for former President Barack Obama.
“We were very proud of the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell and President Obama was so very much a part of that.”
But no one clapped.
After you could hear crickets, Pelosi said this.
“Now… Let’s hear it for President Obama! That’s an applause line. I’ll tell you when it’s an applause line if we’re not kind of in sync.” (laughing)
Several People Dead from Hurricane Irma
Six deaths in Florida have been blamed on Hurricane Irma, along with three in Georgia and one in South Carolina. At least 35 people were killed in the Caribbean.
An estimated 13 million Floridians, or two-thirds of Florida’s population, remain without power. Officials warned it could take weeks for electricity to be restored.
More than 180,000 people huddled in shelters in the Sunshine State.
Former Drug Smuggler Now Smuggles Bibles in Central Asia
It’s another powerful testimony of the transforming work of Christ.
After Alim was thrown into the slammer for running an ambitious drug-smuggling operation in Central Asia, he read the book of John given to him by a cellmate out of sheer boredom.
By his own admission, “I neglected the spiritual questions. I was empty, and I didn’t want to live. .. But I met Jesus through the book of John.”
Today, according to Open Doors USA, Alim is using his skillset to oversee the dangerous work of smuggling illegal Bibles throughout five nearby countries, providing believers with the vital words of Jesus to sustain their Christian walk.
Colossians 1:21-22 says, “Although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach.”
If the Bible distribution center is discovered, it will be shut down and Alim will return to prison. Pray for Alim and help pay for more Bibles through the link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldView.com.
Over Half of British Catholics Support Abortion
Despite the pro-life stance of the Catholic church, 61 percent of Catholic Brits now are in favor of baby killing in the womb, according to the 2016 British Social Attitudes survey.
Just five years ago, that number was only 39 percent, indicating a massive paradigm shift.
Psalm 127:3 says, “Truly children are a gift from the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward.”

UK Couple Pulls Son from Anglican School to Protest Pro-Transgender Policy
A Christian couple in the U.K. has decided to pull their 6-year-old son from a Church of England primary school in protest against the school’s pro-transgender policy which allows a 6-year-old boy in his class to dress and to identify as a girl, reports The Christian Post.
Nigel and Sally Rowe from the Isle of Wight explained that this is actually the second time the school has embraced such foolishness.
Beyond that, the so-called Christian school has bullied anyone who upholds biblical values, saying that “the refusal to acknowledge a transgendered person’s true gender by failing to use their adopted name or using gender inappropriate pronouns” constitutes “transphobic behaviour.”
Nigel Rowe slammed any suggestion that the couple is being transphobic. And said that his son should not be “stigmatized as a bully” for believing that a boy born as a male is actually a boy.
Rowe also said, “As Christians, we believe that all people are valued and loved by God. But we also believe in the goodness of God’s created pattern of male and female. We certainly don’t have an irrational fear of those who are suffering from Gender Identity Disorder.”
Canadian Judge Suspended for Wearing “Make America Great Again” Hat
According to Canada’s National Post, Judge Bernd Zabel played with fire on November 9, 2016 when he dared to wear into court a red baseball hat bearing the Donald Trump campaign slogan “Make America Great Again”.
Once his allegedly outrageous reporter was picked up by the liberal Canadian press, Judge Zabel apologized and claims he was guilty of judicial misconduct.
In 25-page decision handed down yesterday, an Ontario, Canada Judicial Council panel handed the 69-year-old judge the second-most serious penalty available: a 30-day suspension without pay, coupled with a formal reprimand.
They let him keep his $284,000-a-year job on the bench. For now.
Well-Preserved Ancient Viking Sword Discovered on Mountain in Norway
An incredibly well-preserved Viking sword was found in late August by a reindeer hunter on a remote mountain in Southern Norway, reports Fox News.
Archeologists attribute the pristine condition of the 1,100-year-old sword found at 5,381 feet above sea level to the excellent quality of Viking iron as well as the cold, dry conditions on the mountain.
YouTube Cuts Off Advertising Revenue to Conservative Channels
YouTube, owned by Google, has chosen to demonetize videos posted by Trump supporters, conservatives, and Christians, reports The Daily Caller.
Because the video-sharing platform has made the editorial decision to unilaterally mark videos on the political and theological right has “unsuitable for all advertisers”, it has made those video ineligible to receive advertising revenue.
Elizabeth Johnston, a conservative Christian homeschool mom who runs the popular “The Activist Mommy” YouTube page, former Congressman Ron Paul, and Christian radio talk show host Dr. Michael Brown have had their videos demonetized.

She’s just 28, but Hope Hicks has just been made President Trump’s official White House Communications Director, earning a cool $180,000.

Florida Woman Gives Birth to Baby Girl During Hurricane Irma
A Miami woman gave birth to a baby girl in the midst of Hurricane Irma, while doctors coached her through the birthing process, reports ABC News.
The woman reportedly went into labor Sunday morning, right around the time when Hurricane Irma made it impossible for emergency personnel to respond.
When the City of Miami’s Fire Department received the call and couldn’t respond, they instead referred the woman to Jackson Health where doctors coached her through the birth.
No word on whether the baby girl was named Irma.
Reporter Gets Unpleasant Experience with New TSA Pat-Down
Have any plans to travel by airplane anytime soon? You’ll be in for a big surprise.
The LA Times reported that the “TSA quietly launches new ‘enhanced’ pat-down procedure.”
John McCormack of the Weekly Standard got a very personal experience of what the “enhanced” pat-down involves on Sunday evening, September 10th in the Kansas City airport.
“After going through a metal detector in the TSA-Pre security line, I was randomly selected for a pat-down.”
The agent ran his hand inside a McCormack’s waistband and ran his hand up the back of each leg until he “meets resistance” and then does the same from the front of each leg. And then the TSA agent swipes the front of his hands three or four times right over the zipper area of [McCormack’s] Gap Outlet khakis.
The reporter notes, “That last part was the most unpleasant.”
