Muslim Accepts Christ After Witnessing Mistreatment of Women

The son of an Islamic Sheikh in Egypt converted to Christianity after being dissatisfied with his father’s religion. Mohamed was then rejected and persecuted by his Muslim family and community.

The World View spoke to Claire Evans of International Christian Concern about Mohamed’s story.

EVANS: “For Mohammed his story is particularly unique, because he’s the son of an Islamic sheikh. So his father is a high profile religious leader. And, because of that, Mohamed is supposed to follow in those footsteps. He’s supposed to be Islamic. He’s supposed to be someone that all of his other Muslim friends, family, neighbors can look up to. But what Mohamed essentially said was, ‘No, I’m not going to do that. Instead I’m going to follow Christ.’”

Evans said Mohammed turned to Christianity after seeing how Muslim women were treated.

EVANS: “It was really his observation of how Islam interacts with women that started him on the path to question this. He saw how his father treated his mother, and then he was also concerned with how his father would treat his own wife. And that really bothered him and worried him and helped open the door to look towards Christianity.”

Please pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Egypt and for God to open the eyes of the lost.

John 6:44 says, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.”

250 Dutch Christians Sign Nashville Statement: One Man, One Woman Marriage

Two hundred and fifty Christians in the Netherlands, including members of the government, signed the Nashville Statement this month after it was translated into Dutch.

The 2017 statement was previously signed by 22,000 Christian leaders in the United States and defines marriage as between one man and one woman while condemning homosexuality and transgenderism.

Now, the Dutch Public Prosecution Service is investigating the statement to see if it breaks the law by discriminating against people committed to sexual perversions.

4,000 Evangelical Churches Formed in Catholic Spain

The predominately Roman Catholic country of Spain saw nearly 200 new evangelical churches form last year, taking the total to over 4,000 evangelical churches for the first time, with 16 Bible-honoring sanctuaries opening every month.

This continues years of growth in the evangelical church in Spain despite difficulties in getting permits to open new places of worship.

Trump Walked Out of Meeting with Democrats: “Total Waste of Time”

President Donald Trump walked out of a meeting with Democratic Congressional leaders yesterday as the federal government is in its third week of a partial shutdown.

Trump called the meeting “a total waste of time” after Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to approve a border wall with Mexico.

Trump also said he may declare a national emergency that would allow him to finance the wall with military funds.

2018: Abortion Mills Closed Faster Than They Opened

Abortion mills closed in 2018 faster than they could open, reports Operation Rescue.

Last year, a total of 40 abortion mills shut down or stopped performing abortions, continuing a trend since 2012.

Still, 697 locations remain open to murder unborn babies. Please pray for the end of the shedding of innocent blood.

Franklin Graham to Christian Bale: Satan is Real, Turn to Christ

As The World View reported on Tuesday, Christian Bale won the Golden Globes Best Actor award this year for his role as former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney in the 2018 film Vice. According to Movie Guide, the film promotes a homosexual agenda.

In his acceptance speech, Bale made this outlandish remark.

BALE: “Thank you to Satan for giving me inspiration on how to play this role.”

Evangelist Franklin Graham responded on Facebook to Bale’s comments, saying, “Satan is a real being and the Word of God has a lot to say about him and his future. Revelation 20:10 says, ‘And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever’.”

Graham also said, “I am thankful to the One who conquered death and saved my soul with His own blood, Jesus Christ.”

6-Year-Old Boy Saved After Being Hit, Trapped Under Car

And finally, the Everett family was at a Logan’s Roadhouse in Conway, Arkansas this week when their 6-year-old son Titus was hit and trapped under a car.

In God’s providence, a whole group of strangers, including Logan’s employees and a Conway Police officer who was eating there, jumped into action and lifted the car off of Titus, saving his life.

Sarah Everett told KARK-TV,

MRS. EVERETT: “Really, God brought all these people together at the right time.”

Mr. Everett was equally grateful and amazed.

EVERETT: “It’s just amazing to me to think that a boy can live through that and then come out on the other end with no broken bones. It’s a miracle!”
