12-year-old Pakistani Christian girl rescued from abuse, forced marriage

A 12-year-old Pakistani Christian girl has been rescued from her Muslim torturers, reports International Christian Concern.

Farah Shaheen had been in captivity since June of this year. Pakistani police were able to rescue her out of a forced Islamic marriage. Her ankles and feet were wounded, and her body indicated significant abuse over the months of her captivity.

Pakistani Christian woman killed for refusing advances of Muslim man

Shockingly, another young Pakistani woman was shot in cold blood in public earlier in November, for rejecting the advances of a Muslim man.

The 24-year-old’s father told International Christian Concern that “Since she was a committed Christian, she did not betray Jesus and sacrificed her life for her faith. We are being harassed and pressurized to withdraw the case against [the] culprits. However, I want [the] culprits brought to justice.”

Psalm 9:11 says, “Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people. When He avenges blood, He remembers them; He does not forget the cry of the humble.”

Joe Biden taps pro-abortion CA AG for HHS Secretary

Possible President-Elect Joe Biden revealed his pick for Secretary of Health and Human Services — California Attorney General Xavier Becerra — one of the most avid pro-abortion advocates in the country, reports Life News.

Republican Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas affirmed his opposition to the pick, taking to Twitter yesterday with this remark: ”Xavier Becerra spent his career attacking pro-life Americans and tried to force crisis pregnancy centers to advertise abortions.”

Biden’s OMB Director pick removed co-pay for abortifacients

Biden has also appointed Neera Tanden as Director of Office of Management and Budget.

She is best known as an architect of the Affordable Care Act who removed the co-pay for the use of abortifacients among 55 million-plus American women and mandated Christian ministries to participate.

Pompeo blasts Venezuela’s election as “political farce”

In a sham election boycotted by the opposition, Venezuela’s communist president has secured final control over the last vestiges of government once controlled by the opposition forces.

Nicolas Maduro’s  United Socialist Party of Venezuela took control over 67% of the National Assembly after Sunday’s vote. U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called the election “a political farce.”

Proverbs 28:15 speaks to this. “Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked ruler over a poor people.”

Venezuela’s surprising spiritual revival

In related news, there is a surprising spiritual revival happening in Venezuela, by some accounts.

A recent government survey found 9,350,000 church-attending Christians in the country, and about one-third of the population attends evangelical churches. Also, there are reports of conversions to evangelical Christianity among the military.

MissionCentral.ca reports that the largest challenge for pastors in Venezuela is to keep their flocks from dying of starvation during these bad economic times.  About 12% of the population has left the country because of the wicked rulers that have taken over the nation.

Stocks soar

Stocks continued soaring into uncharted, overvalued territory.

The Wilshire 5000 to GDP ratio, which follows stock values in relation to the economy, is reaching new record highs.  At a Wilshire 5000 ratio of 1.81, that’s twice what it was before the major recession of 2008. And it’s up from 1.5 at the beginning of the year.

On average, the entire stock market now retains only about one-third of the productive value it retained between 1970 and 1995.

Proverbs 13:7 speaks to this fake appearance of wealth: “One pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth.”

8 Christmas Family Projects for your family

In the rush to get out the Christmas cards and attend the Christmas productions, we can ironically lose sight of special ways to draw the family closer to one another and to Jesus Christ, the Baby in Bethlehem.

Listen to today’s edition of Generations Radio as I guest host for Kevin Swanson with a suggestion for 8 Christmas projects for your family.  Go to www.Generations.org/radio.

And if you do any one of them by Monday, December 14th, please email me at adam@TheWorldview.com. Include your name, city and state, and phone number as I might interview you and your kids about your family’s Christmas project.

WHO Director doesn’t foresee countries mandating COVID vaccine

And finally, COVID-19 vaccines will be available this Thursday. The World Health Organization’s director of immunization vaccines, Kate O’Brien, noted in a press conference recently, she doesn’t “envisage any countries creating a mandate for vaccinations,” reports Reuters.

Also, Tennessee Republican State Representative Bud Hulsey introduced a bill last week which bans forced vaccines in the state. The legislation forbids any law enforcement agency, or any other state or local agency from forcing, requiring, or coercing, “a person to receive an immunization or vaccination for COVID-19 against the person’s will.”
