North Korean Military Ready to Attack Guam

The North Korean News Agency, KCNA, reported last night that the military is ready for an attack on Guam — what they call “an enveloping fire at Guam”. The only thing left for them is a final order from the Party Central Committee to commence the attack.

Speaking from the Pentagon, Secretary of Defense James Mattis told reporters that any launch towards the United States means “game on”, and America would take the missiles out.

Reference to God’s Commandments Covered Up in Courthouse in Virginia

Nelson County, Virginia has folded under pressure from an atheist group which opposes the keeping of God’s commandments.

The county has agreed to cover up the words, “Keep God’s commandments,” which are engraved on a platform facing the judge and jury in the county courthouse.

Psalm 2:10-12 says, “Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, when His wrath is kindled but a little.”

President Trump May Offer Pardon to Arizona Sheriff

President Donald Trump is looking at offering a presidential pardon to Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Mariposa County, Arizona.

Arpaio was convicted of not stopping the immigrant traffic controls when told to do so by a court order in 2011. However, the president told Fox News, “He’s a great American patriot and I hate to see what has happened to him.”

Sheriff Arpaio had this response on NewsMaxTV last night.

“I didn’t ask for it. I appreciate his offer, and of course, I will accept because I didn’t do anything wrong. I’m not guilty of these misdemeanor charges. I’ve been with him from day one, if you remember, back in July 2015. I have great confidence and respect and love for the man. Has nothing to do with his pardon that may be coming up, but I do appreciate it.”

Pastor Hyeon Soo Lim Returns Safely to Canada

Pastor Hyeon Soo Lim, just released from a North Korean prison, is in relatively good health. Praise God! Pastor Lim pastored the Light Korean Presbyterian Church in Toronto, one of the largest churches in Canada. He told of his ordeal during the worship service over the weekend.

During Lim’s imprisonment, he said that he read the Bible in both English and Korean five times and memorized over 700 Bible verses.

During the winters, Pastor Lim said he was forced to dig 1-meter-deep holes in frozen ground until his hands and feet were frostbitten. He was hospitalized four times and lost 51 pounds.

Pastor Arrested for Homeschooling Placed Under House Arrest

And, Pastor Ramón Rigal, the Cuban pastor who was sentenced to a year in prison for homeschooling his children, may continue his pastoring for now. The Cuban court is placing him on house arrest, but will allow him to pursue church duties according to a recent report from Christian Solidarity.

However, Pastor Rigal may not prevent his children from attending humanist schools which eschew bringing up children in the admonition of the Lord.

Young Children in England Expelled for Sharing Online Porn

The U.K. Telegraph reports that children as young as five years of age have been expelled from public schools in England for sharing on-line pornography.

A total of 800 primary school students and 8,000 high school students have been expelled since 2013 for sexual misconduct, much of which involves online sharing of licentious images.

Province in India Outlaws Christian Evangelism

A provincial law in India is officially outlawing Christian evangelism with the intent to bring about conversion.

The oddly named Jharkhand “Freedom of Religion Bill” 2017 has yet to be signed by the governor and president of the province.

International Christian Concern quotes a local pastor, Maish Ekka, who calls the bill “an attack on Christians” and an “attack on the religious freedom” guaranteed in India’s constitution.

41 Dead in Train Wreck in Egypt

A devastating train accident in Alexandria, Egypt killed 41 and injured 120 passengers. And at least 300 people were killed in mudslides and flooding in Sierre Leone, West Africa over the weekend.

Hillary Clinton Wants to Take Up Preaching

Hillary Clinton’s pastor said the former presidential candidate wants to preach after losing the race to Donald Trump.

The Reverend Dr. Bill Shallady told CNN that “She is very comfortable in the pulpit. It’s something that comes naturally to her, and she knows the Bible.”

In the same interview, the Methodist pastor likened Hillary Clinton’s loss of the presidency to what the disciples experienced when Christ died.

1 Timothy 2:12 reminds us, “. . .Do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.”

Planned Parenthood Office Closes Down in Texas

Another Planned Parenthood is Texas has closed. That makes for about 20 offices in the last year. Planned Parenthood has taken a half billion dollars per year to fund abortifacient forms of contraceptive, Plan B pills and emergency abortifacient drugs.

However, federal funding for Community Health Centers has increased from $3 billion to $19 billion between 2005 and 2016. And the number of sites have increased from 3,700 to in excess of 10,000.

Insurance coverage of abortifacient contraceptives has also doubled since the Obamacare mandate went into effect six years ago.

The Kaiser Foundation found that women with medical insurance saw a 63% drop in out-of-pocket expenses on birth control pills between 2012 and 2014. And today, 55 million women have no-cost coverage for contraceptive services and supplies.

And that’s the World View in Five Minutes.

What kind of worldview do your children get? The vast majority of teens from Christian families are abandoning a biblical worldview, according to the Barna Group. Sadly, many parents do not realize that the curriculum they have chosen for their children actually conveys the wrong worldview of history, science, life’s purpose, and truth. Pass on the faith to your children with a distinctively Christian education.
