Chinese Communists paying snitches on Christians
Chinese officials are now offering monetary rewards for people who collect information on “illegal religious activity venues,” reports the Bitter Winter Magazine.
One local government employee revealed the government is trying to curb the growth of state-sanctioned churches while shutting down unregistered churches.
Last week, Beijing officials shut down the 1,500-member unregistered Zion Church for refusing to have surveillance cameras installed in their building.
Iran has fastest growing evangelical population in the world
A new survey by GAMAAN, a Netherlands-based research group, confirmed that Christianity in Iran is growing at an explosive rate.
Of 50,000 Iranians surveyed, 1.5 percent identified as Christians. Extrapolated over Iran’s 80 million people, that means the Muslim-majority country has an estimated one million Christians.
Operation World lists Iran as having the fastest growing evangelical population in the world.
Psalm 2:8 says, “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.”
70% of world’s adults: Abortion should be allowed
Seventy percent of adults around the world say that abortion should be permitted, according to an Ipsos survey. That’s a two percent drop in global support for abortion since Ipsos started the survey in 2014.
Only five percent said abortion should not be permitted at all this year. Several European countries saw notable drops in support for abortion like France, Spain, and Germany.
President Trump expands pro-life Mexico City Policy
On Monday, President Donald Trump expanded the Mexico City Policy by banning any federal funding of international organizations that promote or commit abortions.
The expanded policy would affect $9 billion in U.S. foreign aid.
Big Tech censors Family Research Council
Tech company MobileCause has censored the Family Research Council, a Christian conservative group, just as the FRC was about to broadcast their next edition of Pray, Vote, Stand, an initiative to educate Christians to be an influence in the upcoming presidential election.
The MobileCause service had allowed FRC to communicate with thousands of supporters over text message.
FRC President Tony Perkins told CBN News their organization was targeted for being on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s “hate group” list.
PERKINS: “I think MobileCause has a bigger cause, and that is their allegiance to the leftist ideology that is seeking to silence conservatives and in this case, religious conservatives.”
Pelosi claims “Mother Earth is angry”
One hundred wildfires are burning millions of acres of forest across 12 western states, killing over 35 people. Officials have ordered about half a million people to evacuate.
Air quality for residents in California, Oregon, and Washington has been ranked from unhealthy to hazardous due to the wildfire smoke.
Listen to her absurd remark.
PELOSI: ”Mother Earth is angry. She’s telling us whether she’s telling us with hurricanes on the Gulf Coast, fires in the West whenever it is that climate crisis is real and has an impact.”
But Psalm 148:8 speaks of “fire and hail, snow and clouds; stormy wind, fulfilling [God’s] word.”
Trump lowers Medicare’s prescription drugs
President Trump signed an executive order this week to lower the cost of some prescription drugs covered by Medicare.
The order would bring what Medicare pays for drugs in line with the lower prices that other developed nations pay for them.
Netflix sexualizes 11-year-old girls in “Cuties” movie
On September 9th, Netflix released a disturbing French film entitled “Cuties”. According to its original synopsis, Netflix said, “Amy, 11, became fascinated with a twerking dance crew. Hoping to join them, she starts to explore her femininity, defying her family’s traditions.”
One Christian leader said, “Every adult involved in the production, marketing, and distribution of this film should be registered as a sex offender.”
Check out my interview on Generations Radio today with Linda Harvey, Founder of MissionAmerica.com, who urges Christians to immediately drop their subscriptions to Netflix. Based on Ephesians 5:11, I hope you will tell your state Attorney General to prosecute Netflix for obscenity involving minors and sign the Citizen Go petition to Netflix with 220,000 signatures already.
Man who rescued 70 hostages from ISIS receives Medal of Honor
And finally, on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks last week, President Trump awarded Army Delta Force Sgt. Major Thomas “Patrick” Payne the Medal of Honor for risking his life to rescue over 70 hostages from Islamic State militants in Iraq in 2015.
The ceremony opened in Christian prayer, and Trump told Payne’s six-year-old son Aaron that his father was a hero.
TRUMP: “I want you to know that your dad is one the bravest men anywhere in the world. … think you knew that before we knew it. So, congratulations to both.”
Psalm 82:4 says, “Deliver the poor and needy; free them from the hand of the wicked.”
