Nigerian Muslims killed 8 Christians in their sleep
On Sunday, October 1st, Fulani Muslim herdsmen in Nigeria killed eight Christians and wounded five others in the Plateau state, reports Morning Star News.
Davidson Malison said, “The Fulani militias stormed the community at about 8:10 p.m., positioned themselves, and sprayed bullets on the bodies of innocent Christians who were asleep. To prove the maximum act of wickedness by these terrorists, children of 9 and 11 years were among those killed. The terrorists are known to the Nigerian government. They are not ghosts nor invisible. They had made threatening statements, particularly to our communities in recent past.”
Malison concluded, “We’re not only saddened by this unfortunate development and occurrence, but completely depressed and brokenhearted, knowing fully how peaceful and hospitable Christians have lived with their Muslim neighbors in the Plateau state.”
Please pray that God’s justice will prevail in Nigeria, Africa.
Ecclesiastes 3:17 declares, “God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.”
Shock: Biden starts building border wall
On Wednesday, in a surprising development, the Biden administration waived 26 federal laws in South Texas to allow border wall construction, reports the Associated Press.
This marks the administration’s first use of sweeping executive power to pave the way for building more border barriers — a tactic used often during the Trump presidency.
The Department of Homeland Security posted the announcement on the U.S. Federal Registry with few details outlining the construction in Starr County, Texas, which is part of a busy Border Patrol sector seeing “high illegal entry.”
According to government data, about 245,000 illegal entries have been recorded in this region during the current fiscal year.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas finally admitted, “There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States in the project areas.”
In response, former President Donald Trump asked in a Truth Social post on Thursday, “Will Joe Biden apologize to me and America for taking so long to get moving, and allowing our country to be flooded with 15 million illegal immigrants, from places unknown?”
Supreme Court rejects appeal of pro-lifers fined for exposing Planned Parenthood’s organ harvesting
In a tragic development, the U.S. Supreme Court has announced that it will not consider the appeals of pro-life activists facing two million dollars in fines for releasing undercover videos of abortion industry insiders discussing the harvesting and sale of organs from aborted babies, reports LifeSiteNews.com.
The news, concerning appeals by the pro-life investigative group Center for Medical Progress, attorney Steve Cooley, and pro-life activists Troy Newman, Sandra Merritt, and Albin Rhomberg, came in an order list released Monday, without elaboration as to the Court’s reasoning or how many individual justices would have heard the cases.
Starting in 2015, the Center for Medical Progress began releasing a series of secretly-recorded video conversations with officials from Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation.
They set off a firestorm of controversy and a string of revelations about the abortion industry breaking multiple federal laws against profiting off human tissue, altering abortion procedures for the sake of procuring better tissue samples, and potentially even committing partial-birth abortions or infanticide; as well as video examples of abortion workers displaying callousness toward the humanity of the children they killed.
New York Times editor who campaigned against abortion
And finally, The Worldview wants to praise God today for a New York Times journalist. I know. That sounds like an unlikely proposition. But wait. It gets even more interesting.
This journalist, who actually became editor of the New York Times, began a campaign against abortion. Now I’ve got your attention. Sadly, this didn’t happen in 2022. It dates back to October 6, 1870. That’s 153 years ago to be precise.
Louis John Jennings, a dedicated Christian, wrote editorials that appeared in the New York Times which led to the criminalization of abortion in every state in America at the time.
According to The Christian Almanac, co-authored by George Grant, Jennings “understood the power of the printed page and used it expertly. He knew only too well that it would be necessary to provoke a public outrage over the issue, not simply a stiffening of legislation that might go unenforced. It was his leadership, and the visibility of his paper, that ultimately swayed both the legal and the medical establishments to publicly denounce abortion as murder.”
Indeed, in the late 1800s, the New York Times deserved the slogan, “All the news that’s fit to print.”
Tragically, The Gray Lady has devolved today into a shill for every degenerate pro-abortion politician on the Left.
The New York Times earned that nickname “The Grey Lady” for two reasons. First, the paper was printed on gray paper. And second, it had a reputation for being a serious, sober-minded, conservative newspaper compared to its competitors. O how far The Gray Lady has fallen!
