Trump to Iranian President: Never Threaten America!
President Donald Trump is not pulling any punches as he reacted to the threats of Iran’s president, Hassan Rouhani, who described a potential conflict with the US as “the mother of all wars”, reports Business Insider.
In a tweet directed at the Iranian president, Trump declared in all caps: “NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!”
Iran has strongly opposed the US since its theocratic government took power in 1979, with officials chanting “death to America” in parliament.
Deadly Wildfires in Greece
Forty-seven wildfires broke out across Greece on Monday, raging through seaside resorts near the capital of Athens, torching homes, cars, and forests as they killed at least 74 people, CBS News reports.
Greece endures wildfires every summer, but the fires that broke out Monday were the deadliest to hit the country since 2007 when 60 people died.
“Tear” de France
Tour de France, the famous cross country bicycle race, was halted after riders were accidentally sprayed by a massive cloud of tear gas as cops were trying to disperse protesting farmers on strike who blocked the roadway at stage 16.
Congress Could Overturn Roe v. Wade Right Now!
Pastor Chuck Baldwin, the 2008 presidential nominee of the Constitution Party, chastised many of the “pro-life” groups for endorsing President Trump’s nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
Baldwin takes issue with their refusal “to support the only pro-life bills that would actually STOP abortion: personhood bills such as the one repeatedly introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by former congressman Ron Paul. If passed, Ron Paul’s Sanctity of Life Act would have defined life as beginning at conception and under Article III, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution removed abortion from the jurisdiction of the court, thereby overturning Roe. Yes, the pro-life Republicans in Congress — along with a pro-life Republican President –could overturn Roe v Wade anytime it wanted to.”
James 4:17 says, “If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”
Majority of Charges Against Pro-Lifer Daleiden Dropped
A court has dropped some of the bogus charges against pro-life advocate David Daleiden, who exposed the sale of body parts from aborted babies in 2015 at Planned Parenthood abortion mills, reports Life News.
The National Abortion Federation dismissed seven out of eleven claims on Friday against Daleiden and his organization, the Center for Medical Progress. However, by dismissing the seven claims, the abortion group is trying to speed up the case so it can secure a permanent gag order against Daleiden, which would block the release of the videos regardless of the case’s outcome.
Daleiden’s pro-life attorney, Thomas Brejcha of Thomas More Society, said: “The National Abortion Federation, Planned Parenthood and their allies will appeal every decision in our favor until they find judges who will rubberstamp their abortion agenda. Which means it’s absolutely critical we have the resources in place to keep defending David.”
Have Chickens in Backyard? Be Careful!
Live poultry in backyard flocks are linked to several multistate outbreaks of salmonella infections that have now sickened 212 people in 44 states, reports CBS News.
The six states so far not affected are North Dakota, South Dakota, Virginia, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware.
Sneak Peek: The Suffering of Sudanese Christians
Sudanese Christians are facing constant attacks on their faith every day, and many churches don’t have the freedom to worship God like those in American Churches.
Stay tuned for a World View Special Report from International Christian Concern about the latest crackdowns Sudanese Christians are facing.
Professional Football Player Rescues Man Trapped in Car
In God’s providence, New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Mitchell Loewen acted like a saint when he helped rescue a man pinned inside of a vehicle due to a bizarre accident when a young driver in his mid-20s accidentally drove his SUV off the fourth floor of a parking garage which landed on its roof onto a busy street below.
After seeing the vehicle, Loewen talked to the man inside who was covered in blood and glass and recruited nine other men to help, reports The Christian Post.
“Initially, when I got on my hands and knees to look in that vehicle, I thought I was going to find a dead body. It was pretty amazing that the guy was alive. There is definitely a purpose for this man’s life. You see it all the time in the movies: upside down vehicles that blow up. I figured we’ve got to flip this thing over as fast as possible. I could smell the gas was leaking out.
“I called to the streets. I said, ‘Get all the men over here; we’ve got to flip this thing.’ We got on one side and I counted to three and we flipped it over on its side, and then we flipped it one more time onto its wheels.
“We were pulling glass off him; we pulled the windshield off him, all the debris. All the doors were jammed shut. So we couldn’t get to him that easy. One guy ended up climbing over through the windshield into the car so he could unlatch one of the doors. And I pried the door open.
“It was just an act of God that we were even in the area and that I could even help out and lead those other men to save one man’s life. It’s been something surreal, but all the glory goes to God.”
Mark 12:31 says, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
World View Listeners from Germany, Oklahoma Express Gratitude
John Pruitt in Karlsruhe, Germany, wrote me at Adam@TheWorldView.com and said, “I retired last year from the Army Reserve and have worked at Hewlett Packard here in Germany for 20 years. I saw your podcast in the news section of the overcast podcast application on the IPhone operating system.
“I enjoy your non-fake news podcast. Bible verses are a plus; it’s often the only Bible I get during the day. Keep up the great work.”
And Sophia, a 16-year-old from Oklahoma wrote, “Thank you for airing The Worldview every day. I like to read it during morning Bible study because it helps me know who to pray for in the news.
“I love how there are always Bible verses tied in and I enjoy how you include inspirational stories like pro-life updates.
“In a time where the facts are weighed down by political correctness and bias, it is hard to know where to go for news that gives the real facts as they should be, and not as opinions. Thank you! The Worldview is refreshing!

Special Report: Freedom to Worship a Luxury for Sudanese Believers
Time now for a World View Special Report by Emily Swanson. I’m Adam McManus.
The government of Sudan continues to go after Sudanese Christians by taking away the right of the Khartoum Church of Christ to worship freely.
The World View spoke to Nathan Johnson of International Christian Concern about why the Sudanese authorities oppress the Sudan Church of Christ.
“It’s pretty general to most Christians as a whole. The SCOC, or the Sudan Church of Christ, is one of the most affected, because it’s one of the larger churches there in Sudan, but they do generally discriminate against all Christians quite often. This is not something new. For the last few years they’ve been demolishing churches especially in the capital city of Khartoum.”
Johnson said the Sudanese government destroys the churches by making the excuse that they are on government land or residential zones.
“Yet we’ve actually got pictures of mosques going up in the same locations that churches were destroyed in so it makes no sense.”
Johnson said that the Sudanese government has twisted the Constitution to promote Sharia law and oppress the Christians.
“Like most constitutions across the world, especially in Africa, there is provision in their constitution that says freedom of religion is guaranteed. But then buried somewhere in the constitution itself is also a statement that says the constitution itself is guided by Sharia, being the law of Islam.”
Johnson said 2011 changed the whole landscape of persecution for Christians when South Sudan gained its independence.
“Back in 2011, after South Sudan was able to gain their independence, Omar Al Bashir, the President of Sudan, came out saying, ‘Now that we’ve rid the country of the Christians, that the Christians split off in its own nation, we are free to be a fully Islamic nation as well.’”
Johnson said that the most vital thing to pray for is that Sudanese Christians keep following Jesus even under pressure.
“The first thing to pray for is just their spiritual welfare and their physical welfare. They are under immense pressure to convert or to change, to fall away from Christ, and that’s one thing we definitely don’t want to see happen. I know physical suffering is awful, but eternal damnation is obviously far worse.”
And Johnson reminded us to keep their ruler, Omar al-Bashir, in prayer, that God would transform his heart and change him.
“Always be praying for their government. The Bible tells us that God is the One who puts authorities in power. He has put the authority there to be in power or to stay in power. It is there for a reason, so be praying for the hearts of Omar al-Bashir and his government that they would be changed, fundamentally changed.”
Pray the words of Paul, who was persecuted for his faith, from Colossians 4:2-3 for our Sudanese brothers and sisters. It says, “Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison.”

Israel Shoots Down Syrian Warplane
Israel said it shot down a Syrian warplane that crossed into the occupied Golan Heights yesterday, but Damascus said the jet was fired on as it took part in sorties against rebels within Syria, reports Reuters.
The incident added new fuel to weeks of tensions over the Golan, a strategic plateau between the two old enemies and where Israel has been on high alert as Syrian government forces, supported by Russia, close in to regain rebel-held ground.
12 Audio Recordings of Trump’s Former Personal Attorney
President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney and fixer, Michael Cohen, had 12 audio recordings seized in an April raid of his home, office and hotel room, reports Bloomberg.
The president is heard on only one of the 12 recordings, according to people familiar with the matter. The others are of individuals discussing Trump.
Senator Rand Paul Could Be Swing Vote on Supreme Court Nominee
With Republicans holding just a narrow, two-member majority in the U.S. Senate, every vote is critical to confirm the President Trump’s nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, to the Supreme Court.
Life News reports that Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, a strong pro-lifer, disagrees with Kavanaugh’s stance on privacy issues and the Fourth Amendment, telling Politico.com, “I am honestly undecided. “This is not a small deal for me. This is a big deal.”
GOP Senators Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine are likely to oppose Kavanaugh because they are pro-abortion.
Denver Letter Writer Suggests Trump’s Execution
The Denver Post published a letter to the editor last Saturday suggesting President Donald Trump should be executed for treason.
Suzanne Gagnon of Lakewood criticized the president and Republican Senator Cory Gardner of Colorado following Trump’s summit with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland. She wrote that Soviet spies Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, who passed atomic bomb secrets to Moscow, were executed for “far less.”
Stormy Daniels’ Husband Seeks Divorce, Protection for Daughter
In a July 18 petition filed in Kaufman County, Texas, Stormy Daniels’ husband Glendon Crain accuses the porn actress of committing adultery and cites the alleged extramarital activity as a grounds for divorce.
Daniels alleges that she had a tryst with President Trump years ago which he denies.
In an affidavit, Crain alleged that Daniels recently purchased an airplane ticket so that the couple’s daughter could join her on a tour of U.S. strip clubs, saying “This will place my child in eminent threat of serious and immediate physical or emotional harm.”
In addition to the divorce petition, Crain filed for a temporary restraining order. A judge immediately awarded Crain exclusive use of the family home, barring Daniels “from possession of, or access to” the couple’s child.
Nearly Everyone Benefits from Trump Tax Cuts
Voters in every congressional district in the nation are benefiting from President Trump’s tax-cut package, according to the Heritage Foundation’s report.
“The reform will produce larger incomes, more jobs, more investment, and, ultimately, more economic opportunity. In 2018, taxpayers will save an average of $1,400, and married couples with two children will save $2,917.”
United Kingdom Bus Company: Franklin Graham’s Ads Unwelcome
Evangelist Franklin Graham says his Festival of Hope will go on in the United Kingdom despite backlash and a local bus company banning ads for the event, reports Christian Headlines.
The Festival of Hope is scheduled to take place Sept. 21-23 in Lancashire and feature a Gospel message from Graham along with music from The Afters, Rend Collective, and Michael W. Smith.
Earlier this month, Blackpool Transport – which runs buses in the area – announced it was removing ads for the festival following a social media protest that highlighted some of Graham’s past statements about homosexuality.
White-Only Message Passed Out in Illinois
Dozens of plastic bags weighed down by aquarium gravel containing flyers with the message “White pride, doesn’t mean hate” were discovered over the weekend in Tinley Park, Illinois, reports CBS 2.
When reporter Jeremy Ross called the number on the flyer, the voicemail box recording said, “We are the Loyal White Knights. Call to Join. Always remember ‘If it ain’t white, it ain’t right.’”
Gutsy Canadian Christian Spoke Truth to Homosexuals
Remember the gutsy Christian Canadian man named Bill Whatcott? Two years ago at Toronto’s Homosexual Pride Parade on July 10, 2016, Whatcott and a group of friends disguised themselves as green “gay zombies” and passed out 3,000 “safe-sex packages” while marching in the parade.
While many participating in the festivities initially thought the “safe-sex packages” were free condoms, some were upset to find out later that night that those safe-sex packages were packets of information that included the testimony of a former transgender person who’s now living his life as a Christian man, as well as a page highlighting the medical risks of homosexual sex, reports The Christian Post.
The Canadian liberals hit him with a $104 million class-action lawsuit.
Watch the video of Whatcott’s arrest.
The Canadian is quick to admit that he, too, is a sinner in need of repentance.
Years ago, Whatcott was an atheist teenager, reared in foster homes, who sniffed glue to escape reality. Ultimately, he hijacked a bus and served a 15-month prison sentence during which he trusted Christ as his Savior through his Christian girlfriend and an Anglican pastor who visited him weekly.
Atheist Group Pressures Restaurant for Church Bulletin Discount
Starters Cafe in Cheviot, Ohio says that it will continue offering its church bulletin 10% discount on Sundays despite an absurd complaint by the Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation, reports Christian News.
After one lone complaint on Yelp, the God-hating group told KCBY-TV that the promotion was similar to discriminatorily rewarding only white people.
He said that those who don’t attend church, such as atheists, are welcome to bring in a civic or non-profit newsletter and receive the same discount.
Texas Police Chief Lip-Sync with Newsboys
When Crandall, Texas Police Department chief Dean Winters decided to produce a lip-sync video of the Newsboys worship track “God’s Not Dead” along with his fellow officers, he could have never imagined just how widespread the response would be, reports FaithWire.
The video went viral, garnering 8 million views and over 200,000 shares on Facebook. And while most of the reaction was positive, the performance gained the attention of the atheist Freedom from Religion Foundation. The God-denying group claimed that it violates the U.S. Constitution and urged the Texas department to take it down.
Winters, explaining that his Christian faith “enhances” his ability to carry out his policing duties, said, “My faith in Jesus gives me the strength to deal with so many different aspects of life. First and foremost, in my most important role as a husband and father, but also in my role as an officer and chief of police.”
