Special Report on North Korea After the Newscast
North Korea seems determined to start World War 3. Stay tuned for my Special Report immediately following today’s newscast.
Vice President Mike Pence Says America Will Stand with Israel
While delivering a keynote address at an event celebrating the 70th anniversary of the United Nations’ vote calling for Israel to exist as an independent state yesterday, Vice President Mike Pence had an encouraging statement for our ally.
“The president sent me here with a simple message: Under our administration, America will always stand with Israel. With the leadership of our president and the efforts of our ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, the days of Israel bashing at the United Nations are over.”
Plus, as he addressed the gathering of UN ambassadors, diplomats and Jewish leaders, the vice president had some exciting news.
“As we speak, President Donald Trump is actively considering when and how to move the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.”
In Genesis 12:3, God reveals how we should respond to Israel in stark terms. “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.”
Prince Harry Engaged to Divorced American Actress Meghan Markle
The announcement in London on Monday that Prince Harry is engaged to the divorced American actress Meghan Markle was accompanied by statements of delight from Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, and his father, heir to the throne Prince Charles.
Quite different from the last time a British royal wanted to marry an American divorcee, reports the Religion News Service.
The 1936 engagement of King Edward VIII prompted him to give up the throne rather than the divorced Baltimore socialite Wallis Simpson.
Remember, the royal monarch is the head of the Church of England. The church’s ban at the time on remarriage for a divorced person whose previous spouse is alive applied to King Edward. Subsequently, the Church of England has moderated that position.
Pastor of Texas Church Says He Trusts in Jesus Through the Difficult Holiday Season
In an emotional interview on NBC News, Rev. Frank Pomeroy of First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs admitted that holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas are hard to cope with now after a gunman killed 26 people including his 14-year-old daughter Annabelle, but said that he places his trust in Jesus Christ.
“It hurts that I’ve lost Annabelle, but I also know that He has a plan that I need to continue to carry out. And that’s what I do.”
Pomeroy has found forgiveness for the gunman and a reason to celebrate Thanksgiving.
“It is hard to cope right now. Sorry. But I know that Annabelle would want the holidays to proceed.”
The pastor said, “Is it going to be difficult? Yes, but you know what? I am celebrating this great country that God has blessed us with on Thanksgiving, and also celebrating the birth of the Savior at Christmas.”
Romans 8:29 says, “For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son.”
Retired Marine Colonel Says Both Alabama Senate Candidates Are Unfit for Office
Have you heard the latest wrinkle in the Roy Moore Senate race in Alabama?
According to World Magazine, a retired Marine colonel named Lee Busby plans to launch a write-in campaign. But it gets even more interesting.
Busby, who spent 31 years in the Marine Corps, served as a top aide to then-Gen. John Kelly, who is now President Donald Trump’s chief of staff.
He told The Washington Post he thinks Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones are both unfit for office, adding that he does not know if the sexual misconduct accusations that have plagued Moore are true, but it doesn’t matter. Busby said, “It has created enough distaste in my mind.”
The special election is December 12th.
Arkansas Defunds Planned Parenthood of All Medicaid Funding
It’s official. Arkansas has pulled all Medicaid funding from Planned Parenthood. The original defunding happened back in 2015, but the ruling finally took effect this week after a federal appeals court agreed to side with the decision.
The World View spoke to Rose Mimms of Arkansas Right to Life about how proud she was of Governor Asa Hutchinson.
“We have a wonderful pro-life governor who does what he can to protect life by signing our pro-life laws. And this order that he issued to strip Planned Parenthood of their Medicaid ability to get reimbursed for Medicaid services for poor women. He did that on his own. We didn’t even ask him to do that.
“He followed other pro-life governors, who after the videos surfaced, showing that they were selling the baby parts of babies they had aborted. This is an action he took. He didn’t want any tax dollars in Arkansas going to an organization that kills babies, number one, and sells their body parts.”
Pastor Carl Gallups’ YouTube Channel Restored
YouTube restored Pastor Carl Gallups’ channel containing Bible videos only hours after WorldNetDaily.com reported the Internet giant had pulled the plug over the holiday weekend, without warning or explanation.
While the channel has only been up for five years, he averages 640,000 views a year.
A source inside Google, who asked not to be identified, told Gallups a “coordinated flagging” campaign had occurred, which triggered the termination of the channel.
The targeted video was titled “A Call To Prayer.”
AFA Compiles List of Stores That Refuse to Acknowledge Christmas
While more stores are choosing to celebrate Christmas through signage and advertising, the American Family Association has compiled a list of 18 retailers on the “Naughty” list who prefer the politically correct phrase Happy Holidays.
They include: Academy Sports, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Foot Locker, Gap, The Limited, Maurice’s, Nordstrom, Office Depot, Office Max, PetSmart, Staples, Stein Mart, Supervalu, UncommonGoods.com and Victoria’s Secret.

Listen to just a short list.
He nominated a conservative, pro-life constitutionalist judge to the Supreme Court, killed the Trans Pacific Partnership to protect American jobs, withdrew from the Paris Climate Accord to protect our economy, and has overseen a 61% drop in illegal immigration.

Special Report: North Korea Stands on Brink of World War III
Time now for a World View Special Report. I’m Adam McManus.
By Adam McManus
North Korea has thrown down the gauntlet.
Despite President Trump’s repeated warnings, and his threat delivered from South Korea during his recent trip when he said “do not try us,” North Korea launched an ICBM missile which reached a height of 2,800 miles, remained in the air for 53 minutes, before splashing down in waters 130 miles west of Japan, reports CNN.
President Trump delivered a surprisingly muted response.
“A missile was launched a little while ago from North Korea. I will only tell you that we will take care of it. We have [Defense Secretary] General [James] Mattis in the room with us and we have had a long discussion on it. I will only tell you that it is a situation that we will handle.”
Defense Secretary Mattis said the missile launch demonstrates that North Korea has the ability to hit “everywhere in the world.”
South Korea and Japan Condemn North Korea
South Korea and Japan have led condemnation of North Korea, reports The Guardian.
The South Korean president voiced concern that the North’s perfection of the ICBM would lead the US to consider launching a pre-emptive strike.
Japan’s prime minister, Shinzo Abe, condemned the missile launch as “intolerable” and called for an emergency meeting of the UN security council.
Defector Warns That North Korea Is Willing to Sacrifice Millions of Lives
North Korean defector Thae Yong-ho warned that North Korea would be willing to sacrifice millions of lives should the United States decide to respond militarily to World War 3 threats, reports PBS.
Yong-ho, who served as a diplomat for North Korea before escaping, said recently on PBS’ NewsHour, “I think even a limited strike by the US can bring a full-scale conflict on the Korean peninsula because all of North Korea’s military has been trained to fire back in any way.”
Hawaii Resumes Monthly Testing of Nuclear Attack Warning Sirens
Hawaii will resume monthly statewide testing of its Cold War-era nuclear attack warning sirens for the first time in about 30 years, in preparation for a potential missile launch from North Korea, reports Reuters.
The nuclear attack sirens, discontinued since the 1980s when the Cold War drew to a close, will be sounded for about 60 seconds from more than 400 locations across the central Pacific islands starting at 11:45 a.m. this Friday, in a test that will be repeated on the first business day of each month thereafter.
Island residents would have just 12 to 15 minutes of warning before impact.

12-Year-Old Girl in South Africa Rejects Abortion After Being Raped by Grandfather
A 12-year-old rape survivor in South Africa bravely rejected abortion after her grandfather allegedly raped her in 2014, reports Life News.
Nombuso (not her real name), of Soweto, South Africa, faced the assault while she was in her grandfather’s care. According to the report, her father had abandoned them and her mother, Busisiwe, was in the hospital recovering from a vehicle accident.
Busisiwe said she returned home from the hospital to discover that her daughter was eight months pregnant.
The grandfather was arrested and remains in jail on sexual assault charges, according to the report. The grandmother and young 12-year-old mother chose life for the baby, a boy; he was born on July 16, 2015. He brings joy to both of their lives.
She said, “I love him. He does not know anything (about his mother’s rape) and he is a gift and a blessing from God.”
Research by the Elliot Institute found that between 75 percent to 85 percent of pregnant rape victims do not have abortions. Of those who did, many felt pressured or coerced to abort their unborn babies. And in many cases, the women who had abortions felt victimized again by the invasive abortion.
Tomi Lahren Posts Photoshopped Image of Colin Kaepernick Kneeling at D-Day Landings
Ever the provocateur, Fox News contributor Tomi Lahren posted a photoshopped image of Colin Kaepernick that depicts him taking a knee in front of the D-Day landings, reports The Hill.com.
Lahren, who has been critical of NFL players for kneeling during the national anthem, mocked Kaepernick’s “GQ Citizen of the Year” title.
Diagnoses of HIV in Europe Reached Record High in 2016
The number of people newly diagnosed with HIV in Europe reached its highest level in 2016 since records began, showing the region’s epidemic growing “at an alarming pace”, reports Reuters.
That year, 160,000 people contracted the virus that causes AIDS in the 53 countries that make up the World Health Organization’s European region.
Around 80 percent of those were in eastern Europe.
Many patients had already been carrying the HIV infection for several years by the time they were diagnosed, making the virus harder to control and more likely to have been passed on to others.
Former TV Host Greta Van Susteren Writes Guide to Using Social Media
Greta Van Susteren, the former television host on CNN, Fox News and MSNBC, wrote a rather non-political book entitled “Everything You Need to Know About Social Media (Without Having to Call a Kid)”, reports TheHill.com.
The most intriguing detail in the article was this revelation. Van Sustern, who came with Senator John McCain’s 105-year-old mother, has been having coffee with the matriarch every Sunday since 2004.
Former Staffer Paid to Keep Quiet Wants to Go Public With Harassment Complaint
The female former staffer who settled a sexual harassment complaint with Democratic Michigan Rep. John Conyers wants to go public and tell her story, despite a confidentiality agreement barring her from doing so, reports The Daily Caller.
In 2015, she was paid $27,000 in taxpayer funds in exchange for her silence.
If she is subpoenaed by Congress, it will make void the confidentiality agreement.
Roy Moore Gains 5-Point Lead in Polls
Despite recent sexual misconduct allegations and limited campaign appearances, Republican Roy Moore has regained a 5-point lead in the Senate race in Alabama, according to a Change Research poll out yesterday, reports the New York Post.
His resurgence is propelled by President Trump voters.
Although the White House has said Trump will not campaign for Moore in Alabama, the president has expressed his support for the embattled Senate candidate and trashed the Democratic opponent as being “weak on crime, weak on the border … and wants to raise taxes to the sky.”
Wikipedia Removes Page of Paleontologist Who Accepted Intelligent Design
After a paleontologist named Günter Bechly had the audacity to publicly criticize neo-Darwinism and embrace Intelligent Design, the State Museum of Natural History in Stuttgart, Germany, pushed him out of his job as curator, reports Christian Headlines.
Since Bechly became a senior fellow with the Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture, Wikipedia decided to erase his page entirely from the internet encyclopedia. So much for objectivity.
New Jersey Megachurch Plans to Pack One Million Meals for Puerto Rico
Liquid Church, a New Jersey-based megachurch, is planning to pack one million meals with the help of 4,000 volunteers for those in Puerto Rico still affected by the ravages of Hurricane Maria, reports The Christian Post. It’s their third annual “Christmas Outreach” program.
