Scotland will not arrest J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling will not be arrested or charged under Scotland’s new hate speech law for referring to men, pretending to be women, as the men God created them to be, reports LifeSiteNews.com.

The best-selling author, whose Potter series has sold 600 million copies translated into 84 languages, stressed that the ruling must be applied to all women, regardless of their status in society.

Rowling tweeted, “I hope every woman in Scotland who wishes to speak up for the reality and importance of biological sex will be reassured by this announcement. And I trust that all women – irrespective of profile or financial means – will be treated equally under the law.”

CIA warns Israel of attack by Iran within 48 hours

The CIA has warned Israel that Iran will attack the country in the next 48 hours.

On Monday, Israel killed two Iranian military commanders in Iran’s consulate in Syria, reports the Associated Press.

Iran vowed that it would take revenge for the attack, and now foreign media is reporting that U.S. intelligence is fearful of an attack on Israel.

Tehran is said to be planning a combined attack with a “rain” of drones and missiles fired from its bases at strategic locations inside Israel.

How the World Health Organization threatens U.S. sovereignty

An increasing number of Americans are waking up to the realization that American sovereignty is at risk, reports Family Research Council Action.

In May, the World Health Organization will meet in Geneva, Switzerland, to finalize their draft of the Pandemic Agreement, something the Washington Stand describes as “the Health Care Tower of Babel.”

If member nations of the World Health Organization pass this agreement and President Joe Biden signs it, it would seriously undermine American sovereignty by giving this radical, unelected, unaccountable, anti-American, globalist organization power in our domestic affairs. The effects this could have on daily American life would be drastic.

Just this past week, the Louisiana state senate unanimously passed Senate Bill 133, which aims to prevent the World Health Organization, the United Nations, and the World Economic Forum from having jurisdiction and power in the state.

Legislation like this sends a powerful message to the globalists and the Biden administration: the American people do not wish to hand over American sovereignty to global bureaucrats.

In addition, the World Health Organization has a history of policies promoting abortion and gender ideology. What’s more, this agreement would empower the W.H.O. to censor American citizens it deems as spreading false or misleading information. If we allow this globalist group to assume control over our nation’s response to future pandemics, we could see more censorship than we saw during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have until May, when the World Health Organization meets, to raise the alarm about the dangers of this agreement.

Supreme Court indirectly punished conservative parents

Last November, the Heritage Defense Foundation filed a legal brief with the United States Supreme Court in a case where a minor child had been removed from conservative parents. What had the parents supposedly done wrong? They had simply refused to affirm their son changing his name and pronouns to identify as female.

Though the parents were not members of Heritage Defense, then group filed a legal brief supporting them when they submitted their case to the U.S. Supreme Court.  Heritage Defense urged the Court to hear the case to vindicate their parental rights and set a precedent protecting all parents in America.

Sadly, the Supreme Court refused to even hear the case. Because of that, the Indiana court’s ruling against the parents still stands. That is bad news not only for parents in Indiana, but it also allows other states free rein to do the same thing.

Lawmakers should protect parents’ God-given rights. Parents cannot sit idly by and just watch as our rights are weakened and our children are harmed.

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.” But, if the state will not allow you to train your child, it’s time to become more civically engaged.

2024 Atlantic hurricane season could be among most active on record

Colorado State University hurricane researchers have released their initial outlook for the upcoming Atlantic hurricane season. They believe it promises to be an extremely active year, reports FoxWeather.com.

Four pro-life protesters found guilty

And finally, four pro-life Christians in Tennessee were convicted Tuesday of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act for protesting outside a Nashville-area abortion mill in 2021, reports The Christian Post.

The U.S. Department of Justice announced Wednesday that a federal judge returned a guilty verdict for Eva Edl, Eva Zastrow, James Zastrow, and Paul Place for their protest outside the Carafem abortion mill in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee on March 15, 2021.

The defendants could face up to six months in prison, five years of supervised release, and fines of up to $10,000.

During their protest in 2021, the four gathered with seven others outside the abortion mill to pray and sing hymns while urging women entering the facility not to go through with an abortion.

Ecclesiastes 5:8 says, “If you see the poor oppressed in a district, and justice and rights denied, do not be surprised at such things; for one official is eyed by a higher one, and over them both are others higher still.”
