Christian Children Forced to Bow to Allah

They were separated by gender, and taught to participate in Islamic prayer. The London Express reported that the children were laughing nervously as they were told to put their ‘elbows on the ground’ to bow to the false god of Allah.

According to Mission Network News, the last few years have presented troubling trends for Christian persecution worldwide. The year 2016 was the third year in a row in which persecution continued to rise significantly. Countries that ranked highest on the 2016 World Watch List were Syria, Afghanistan, Eritrea, Iraq, and at number one, North Korea.

In addition, The International Business Times reports that nearly 90,000 Christians were killed for their faith in the past year, which is the equivalent of one Christian being martyred every six minutes.

Pro Life Movement is Positive for the Year 2017

Pro-lifers, and the babies they advocate for, suffered major setbacks in 2016, reports WORLD News.

For example, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down safety measures that Texas lawmakers passed requiring that abortionists have admitting privileges to a hospital within 30 miles and that abortion mills have the same safety standards as any ambulatory surgical center.

Then the Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal from a Washington state pharmacist who objected to providing abortion-inducing drugs due to his Christian convictions.

California Democrats Condone the Evils of Child Prostitution

California Democrats legalize child prostitution, reports the Washington Examiner. SB 1322 bars law enforcement from arresting sex workers who are under the age of 18 for soliciting or engaging in prostitution, or loitering with the intent to do so. So teenage girls (and boys) in California will soon be free to have sex in exchange for money without fear of arrest or prosecution.

Matthew 18:6 says, “”If anyone causes one of these little ones–those who believe in me–to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

Little Boy With Difficult Skin Condition Proves the Value of Every Life

Despite the fact that De De and Joe Fasciano were told by their doctors that their little boy in the womb had Harlequin ichthyosis, a genetic condition that creates hard, thick, scaly skin, they chose life, reports Live Action News.  The challenge of the malady is that Evan’s skin is being pulled, potentially affecting his ear development, limbs, and joints.  Because of cracks in the skin, a person with the condition is at risk for life-threatening infections.

Evan gets two 40-60 minute baths each and every day in order to exfoliate and moisturize. His skin grows at a rate 10 times faster than average, so he is constantly needing to wash the dead skin off. Moisturizer helps to prevent the cracking of his skin. In addition, he gets eye drops and eye ointment while he sleeps since his tight skin doesn’t always allow his eyelids to close.

In addition to caring for his skin, Evan needs help regulating his body temperature because he is unable to sweat.

He is now five years old, and he is able to crawl and stand with help. He is learning to walk, and his mother said he is full of determination. He sees physical, occupational, and speech therapists, and is enjoying Kindergarten.

Sources told The Washington Post just before Christmas that the Department of Homeland Security has already started preparation for a series of raids aimed at deporting some of the 100,000 families who surged across the U.S. border since the start of last year.

The raids that could begin as early as next month, are expected to be carried out nationwide by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and would be the first large-scale effort to deport families who crossed our southern border illegally in Central America.

And that’s The World View in 5 Minutes.
