Asia Bibi’s Daughter Thanks Christians for Prayers

One of Asia Bibi’s daughters has appeared on a video thanking God and Christians worldwide ever since her Christian mother was found innocent by the Pakistani Supreme Court of trumped up blasphemy charges in that Muslim-majority nation who’ve been praying for her family as they continue to face many uncertainties, reports The Christian Post.

In a video supplied by Aid to the Church in Need, a Catholic charity, Bibi’s daughter Eisham said, “Thank you everybody for praying for my mother. I’d also like to thank the brave judges and the Pakistani justice system that recognize my mother’s innocence.”

Bibi’s husband, Ashiq, said earlier in November, “Help us get out of Pakistan. We are extremely worried because our lives are in danger. We no longer have even anything to eat, because we cannot leave the house to buy food. I request President Donald Trump to help us leave [the country], and I request the prime minister of the U.K. to do their level best to help us, to grant us freedom.”

Canada, the Netherlands, and Italy are believed to be in discussions with the Pakistani government to take in Bibi’s family, though there has not been confirmation yet as to where they will find asylum.

Trump: I Will Totally Shut Down the U.S.-Mexican Border

Hundreds of Central American migrants staged a boisterous demonstration on the US-Mexico border on Thanksgiving, screaming for President Donald Trump to let them in as US soldiers and riot police put on a menacing show of force, reports Yahoo News.

Trump has already deployed nearly 6,000 troops along the border and on Thanksgiving he threatened to close the border if he thinks Mexico has lost control of it.

TRUMP: “If we find that it’s uncontrollable or where people are going to start getting hurt, we will close entry into the country for a period of time until we can get it under control. The whole border. I mean the whole border. We’re either going to have a border or we’re not. If they have to, they’re going to use lethal force. I’ve given the okay. I hope they don’t have to. You’re dealing with a minimum of 500 serious criminals, so I’m not going to let the military be taken advantage of.”

Liberals Complain: Justices Ginsburg, Breyer Should’ve Retired Under Obama

At 85, liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a pro-abortion advocate, is the oldest member of the Supreme Court, and this month’s health scare left many wondering if she’ll really serve for five more years as she promised, reports TheHill.com.

After President Trump nominated conservatives Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, liberals are becoming increasingly angry that Ginsburg and 80-year-old liberal Justice Stephen Breyer did not step down when former President Obama was in office.

Disney, NBC Pushed Live Lesbian Kiss During Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

The Macy’s Thanksgiving parade has been known to be a wholesome celebration that families enjoyed together every year, but this year, Disney and NBC used the parade to draw attention to its first controversial public display of homosexual relations.

During a performance highlighting the Broadway musical “The Prom,” the show’s actresses, Caitlin Kinnunen and Isabelle McCalla, were seen romantically slow dancing together and ultimately sharing a kiss to end the ensemble. The kiss is believed to be the first broadcast kiss between a lesbian couple during the Macy’s celebration event witnessed by millions of American children.

Josh Lamon, a cast member of “The Prom”, tweeted, “The first #LGBTQ kiss in the Parade’s history. We here at @ThePromMusical have never been so proud. #LoveIsLove.”

Lamon could not be more wrong. The love expressed between a husband and his wife in the marital bed is in no way equivalent to the unnatural relations which he advocates.

Elizabeth Johnston, the Activist Mommy wrote, “another time-honored holiday tradition just had to fall victim to cultural Marxism.”

(The lesbian kiss occurs at the 3:36-mark in this video.)

Missionary John Chau: Is India’s Sentinel Island Satan’s Last Stronghold?

And finally, John Chau, an American missionary killed by a remote tribe in India’s North Sentinel Island, predicted his own death, but decided the risk was worth it to try and reach people for Jesus Christ, his diary has revealed, reports The Christian Post.

In excerpts from his diary that his family shared with The Washington Post, the 26-year-old American from Washington state admits, “I‘m scared. Watching the sunset and it’s beautiful — crying a bit … wondering if it will be the last sunset I see. Lord, is this island Satan’s last stronghold where none have heard or even had the chance to hear Your name?”

He also asked God to forgive “any of the people on this island who try to kill me, and especially if they succeed.”

Chau, a graduate of Oral Roberts University and a member of All Nations, an international Christian missions training and sending organization, is believed to have been killed on the island sometime between Nov. 16 and 18.

In my view, he’s a modern-day Jim Elliott.

Romans 10:14-15 asks, “How can they believe in the one of Whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?  … ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’”

German Prosecutors Hold SS Guard Accountable for 36,000 Murders

German prosecutors on Friday charged a 95-year-old man, identified only as Hans H., with more than 36,000 counts of accessory to murder over his alleged time as a Nazi concentration camp guard during World War II, reports France24.com.

Hans H. is believed to have belonged to the SS-Totenkopfsturmbann (Death’s Head Battalion) between the summer of 1944 and the spring of 1945 at the Mauthausen camp in Austria, part of the Nazis’ vast network of concentration camps where inmates were forced to perform slave labor.

Prosecutors argue that by working as a guard at the site, the accused contributed to tens of thousands of prisoner deaths. During his time at the camp, at least 36,223 inmates died. Guards took part in killings by gas, fatal injections, gunfire and other means, while many more prisoners died of hunger or frostbite, prosecutors said.

Amazon Employees Complain of Electric Shocks, Exhaustion, Chest Pains

Hundreds of Amazon employees, working with the British trade union GMB, gathered outside five of the website’s fulfillment centers on Black Friday. Meanwhile, in Italy and Spain, a 24-hour strike is planned, reports RT.com.

GMB spokesman Tim Roache told Business Insider that ambulances were called to Amazon warehouses in an incredible 600 times in the last three years for incidents including electric shocks, exhaustion, chest pains, major trauma — and on three occasions even pregnancy-related issues. “At a similar-sized supermarket distribution warehouse a few miles away, there were just eight call outs during the same period.”

One pregnant woman reported that she is forced to “stand 10 hours without a chair” and told to work hard, despite her superiors knowing she is pregnant. Another described Amazon as “an awful place to work” where people “can’t breathe or voice an opinion” and “feel like a trapped animal with lack of support and respect.”

Trump Wants Treasury Secretary Out

President Trump has expressed dissatisfaction with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, blaming him for the appointment of a Federal Reserve chairman who has been raising interest rates, a move Mr. Trump worries will jeopardize economic gains as his 2020 re-election campaign approaches, reports the Wall Street Journal.

In conversations with advisers in recent weeks, Mr. Trump also has voiced displeasure with Mr. Mnuchin over the turbulent stock market and the Treasury chief’s skepticism toward the sort of punitive trade actions the White House has taken against China.

Pelosi Faces Battle to Be House Speaker Again

Democratic members of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus, made up of nine Democrats, are warning House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi that she won’t win their votes for speaker if she doesn’t back their proposed “Break the Gridlock” rules changes, reports Politico.com.

The vote for speaker will take place in a January 3rd floor vote.

Texas Democrats Won 47% of Votes in Congressional Races

Liberals are complaining that Texas Democrats won 47% of votes in congressional races, but only secured 13 of 36 seats, reports DallasNews.com.

Boundaries drawn early this decade to maximize GOP power blunted the damage. But the bulwarks built after the last census have begun to weaken. The midterms exposed unexpected shortcomings as college-educated white women — traditionally a major source of votes for the Texas GOP — abandoned the party.

Former Planned Parenthood Manager Says Church “Saved Her Life”

A former Planned Parenthood clinic manager says that joining a small nondenominational evangelical church “saved her life” and helped equip her to leave the nation’s largest abortion provider, reports The Christian Post.

Sue Thayer, a Christian mother of five, worked nearly 18 years as nonmedical staff with Planned Parenthood of the Heartland in Iowa before she was fired for voicing her objection to the business’ attempt to institute “webcam abortions” at her clinic.

Instead of “Black Friday”, Consider “Bless Friday” Next Year

On a day when many Americans crowded the stores for “Black Friday” bargains, a group of churches performed acts of charity as part of an annual observance called “Bless Friday”, reports The Christian Post.

First begun in 2010, ten churches are taking part in this year’s Bless Friday observance, with some choosing to visit nursing homes.

Bill Bray, organizer of the “Bless Friday” volunteer efforts for The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church in Texas, said, “We especially hope that ‘Bless Friday’ connects Christmas and service in the minds of children, less Santa and more Jesus.”
