The Chinese Communist Party is prohibiting pastors in the Zhejiang province from ministering to the sick according to Asia News. Zhejiang is on the front lines of the Communists’ battle to eliminate Christianity from its shores.
U.S Air Force Removes Bible from Major’s Desk in Colorado Springs
The U.S. Air Force has removed a Bible from Major Steve Lewis’ desk at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The investigation was instigated upon complaints from Mikey Weinstein, known for his opposition to what he calls “fundamentalist Christian monsters” in the military. The Air Force has previously allowed Bibles and other religious texts to be present on workstations.

Pregnancy Center Sues City Council That Refused to Let Them Operate Near Abortion Mill
The Hand of Hope pregnancy center has filed a federal lawsuit against the Raleigh, North Carolina City Council for refusing to allow them to operate their pro-life facility near an abortion mill.
Trump Goes to Flood-Ravaged Areas of Louisiana
While President Barack Obama was vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump made a trip on Friday to the flood-ravaged areas of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Bayou State is under a state of emergency, having lost 40,000 homes, with 86,000 people needing assistance. Trump Appeals for the Black Vote
On Friday night, after visiting Louisiana, Donald Trump made a plea for the black vote at a Michigan campaign rally.
“Look how much African-American communities have suffered under Democratic control. To those I say the following: What do you have to lose? You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs. 58% of your youth is unemployed. What do you have to lose? Tonight, I am asking for the vote of every single African-American citizen in this country who wants to see a better future.”
Hillary Clinton Raised and Spent More than Donald Trump in July
USA Today reports that Hillary Clinton raised $52 million dollars in July and spent $36 million. During the same month in the White House showdown, Trump raised $38 million and spent $18.5 million.
David Nierenberg Says He Will Vote for Hillary
David Nierenberg, the finance chair for Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential bid, told MSNBC that he’ll be voting for Hillary Clinton in the upcoming election.
“I want to have a president who is centered, stable, civil, decent, compassionate, inclusive not divisive, not name calling, not scapegoating, not verbally abusive. I don’t think Donald Trump will ever be fit to be the President of the United States. If you think about what’s in your wallet, and you look at the bills: Washington, Lincoln, FDR, Jefferson. I don’t see Donald Trump on coins, I don’t see him on bills.”
Four Thousand Christians in Vietnam Beaten for Protesting Sea Pollution
Four thousand Vietnamese Christians were beaten by police when they attempted to protest the government’s contamination of the sea, what they consider to be vital to the livelihood of many in the area. The Formosa Plastic Group allegedly dumped large amounts of waste into the sea, contaminating 70 tons of fish which is their primary source of income and food for Vietnam.
Texas Halts Execution of Murder Accomplice
Texas halted the execution of 43-year-old Jeffery Wood, who was convicted as an accomplice to a murder in the midst of a 1996 convenience store robbery during which clerk Kriss Keeran was fatally shot. Wood’s roommate at the time, Daniel Reneau, was convicted of pulling the trigger and executed for it on June 13, 2002. Ten people have been executed as accessories to felony murder since the death penalty was reinstated in 1976.
Some Christian Groups in Vancouver, Canada Protest Against Franklin Graham
Some evangelical Protestants and Roman Catholics from Vancouver, Canada are calling Franklin Graham “incendiary and intolerant” for his outspokenness about homosexuality, Islam, and President Obama. The Winnipeg Sun reports that these “Christian” groups are protesting the three-day Festival of Hope event to be held in March of 2017.

Wildfire East of Los Angeles Has Destroyed Nearly 100 Homes
In the providence of God, nearly 100 homes have been destroyed by a huge Southern California wildfire 58 square miles large, just 60 miles east of Los Angeles. 1,600 firefighters have contained 40 percent of it.
