Rugby Australia Officially Terminated Folau’s $24 Million Contract
The verdict came in Friday for Israel Folau, the Christian rugby player who called the nation to repent for sins like drunkenness, adultery, lying, fornication, and homosexuality.
Rugby Australia’s 3-person tribunal has kicked him out of the game entirely. His $24 million contract will be terminated. Folau issued a statement, saying he was “deeply saddened by today’s decision to terminate my employment. As Australians, we are born with certain rights, including the right to freedom of religion and the right to freedom of expression. The Christian faith has always been a part of my life and I believe it is my duty as a Christian to share God’s word. Upholding my religious beliefs should not prevent my ability to work or play for my club or country.”
Though persecuted for righteousness’ sake, Folau has been publicly criticized by Pastor Brian Houston of Hillsong church.
This reminds us of what Jesus said: “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:34-36)
If you would like to politely object to Rugby Australia’s decision, you can email them: customer.service@rugby.com.au or to Pastor Houston: hello@hillsong.com.

Chinese State Licensing of Churches Is a Disaster
State licensing of churches in China isn’t helping believers there.
State authorities in Henan province forced Christians out of a meeting hall they were using as an official gathering of the government-approved Three-Self Church.
According to reports from BitterWinter.com, the local governments are burning the benches, hymnbooks, and parts of the buildings where the Three-Self churches meet.
Dr James Dobson: Passage of “Equality Act” Was Egregious
Dr. James Dobson commented on the pro-homosexual Equality Act just passed through the United States House of Representatives.
Charisma News reports that Dobson called it “one of the most egregious assaults on religious liberty ever foisted on the people of this great nation.”
Trump Okay with Abortion for Rape and Incest
President Trump tweeted his position on abortion over the weekend, allowing for the killing of babies conceived in rape and incest.
Live Action, the organization that has produced videos exposing Planned Parenthood, quickly followed up on the tweet, noting that 73% of women pregnant by the evil circumstance of rape, choose life.
Listen to what Lila Rose, founder of Live Action said.
ROSE: “Do we expect that the violence of an abortion will somehow be a path of healing for the violence and trauma that that woman already endured? Is that fair for us to say to a woman who has been the victim of violence that the path to her healing is going to include another violent act, not just against her body, but violence against an innocent third party, that child who may have been conceived?”
American Auto Industry Is Reeling
The U.S. auto industry takes another hit as Ford announces it is laying off 7,000 white collar workers. That’s 10% of its salaried workers. This follows a similar move taken by GM last November — eliminating 8,000 non-union jobs, reports CountryEconomy.com.
President Donald Trump is also threatening tariffs on car imports from Europe and Japan, calling some of these imports a “national security threat.” Proposals include tariffs as high as 25%, however decisions will be delayed for 6 months.
The entire auto industry has been in decline since 2015, with new car registrations dropping off from 7.7 million to 6 million in three years, a 22% drop.
Christian Talk Show Host to CA Parents: Defy Immoral Law
The California Department of Education is in the process of releasing a new Leftist sexual perversion education program for the 2019-2020 school year. Christian talk show host Michael Brown, in his latest Christian Post column, is calling for Christians in California to “defy the law.”
Brown is urging “every Christian parent in California to refuse to allow your children to be polluted by an immoral educational system, whatever it takes.” The program is geared to introduce transgenderism and homosexuality to children as young as 5 and 6 years of age.
The talk show host cited the words of our Lord in Matthew 18:6 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”
Kentucky Rescue Team Cites God’s Help
And finally, the Kentucky Magoffin County Emergency team is acknowledging God’s assistance in their successful search for a 22-month-old toddler lost in the woods, stuck on a 55-foot cliff — for three days.
“We talked this whole week about how dangerous this terrain is, how hilly it is, how difficult it was for you guys, and also with the rainstorms that happened recently — is this potentially a miracle?”
“Yes. I just told the father that; I said it was a team effort, and we were guided by God’s hand; that’s how we found him today.”
The child’s mother, Tasha Howard, told WYMT News, ”I had faith, and I know God is with us.”
Praise God for His goodness to this family!
