Judge Roy Moore Wins Senate Run-Off in Alabama
With 82% of precincts reporting, Judge Roy Moore, the constitutional Christian conservative, clobbered Luther Strange in yesterday’s GOP Senate run-off election in Alabama. The vote was 55.8% to 44.2%.
Listen to this gem from Moore’s victory speech last night.
“I believe that we can make America great, but we must make America good. And you cannot make America good without acknowledging the Sovereign source of that goodness, the Sovereign source of our law, liberty and government which is Almighty God.”
In my Special Report immediately following today’s newscast, you’ll hear some other compelling excerpts from Roy Moore’s victory speech last night which he sprinkled with Scripture and quotes from our Founding Fathers.
Man Kills One Person and Injures Five in Church Shooting in Nashville
This past Sunday, a 25-year-old man shot and killed a woman in the parking lot of Burnette Chapel Church of Christ in southeast Nashville, Tennessee.
Emanuel Kidega Samson then entered through the church’s rear doors and began “indiscriminately” shooting people, injuring five including Pastor Joey Spann, 66, and his wife Peggy, 65, according to The Tennessean newspaper.
Thankfully, 22-year-old Robert Engle, one of the ushers, retrieved his gun from his car and held Samson at gunpoint until police arrived, reports WKRN.
Judge Strikes Down Indiana Law Banning Abortions on Babies with Down Syndrome
Sadly, last Friday, Judge Tanya Walton Pratt struck down an Indiana law as “unconstitutional” that protected unborn babies from discrimination based on their sex, race, or abilities, reports Life News.
The law had made Indiana the second state in the nation to ban abortions on babies with Down syndrome and other genetic disorders. Then-Governor Mike Pence signed the bill in 2016.
Surprise, surprise. Judge Pratt is an Obama appointee.
Pro-Abortion Protesters Interrupt Testimony of Woman Who Regretted Abortion
Last Wednesday night in Columbus, Ohio, pro-abortion protesters interrupted the pro-life testimony of Christy, a middle-aged woman, who was explaining that she regretted her prior abortion when she was 16, reports Life News. It was early January 1972 before Roe v. Wade had been decided.
“I was 16 years old and pretty sure I was pregnant. So my friends took me to Planned Parenthood because I was too embarrassed to tell my family. I was scared, vulnerable, in full panic mode. Planned Parenthood told me that they could not help me if I wanted to continue the pregnancy and keep it or have it adopted. But they could arrange for me to terminate it in New York if I could just get my own transportation.”
Despite the rude, ongoing interruption from those who favor baby-killing in the womb, Christy concluded her testimony outside the state capitol.
“Planned Parenthood is hoping that women like me will remain silent, that we will just suck it up, shut up and remain in anger and denial. But the www.SilentNoMore.com website has over 2,400 stories of regret, over 400 on video. We have 17,000-plus members who also regret their abortion, their lost fatherhood, or the death of an aborted family member. We share our stories because our experience proves that Planned Parenthood cannot hide behind their false rhetoric. They will not silence us. … We prove that women do not need the misery of abortion. … And Planned Parenthood certainly does not deserve any more of our money. And that is why I am silent no more!”
It was the second stop of a six-city #Sockit2PP Truck Tour that started last Tuesday and ended this past Saturday, when Students for Life delivered a truckload of 328,348 pairs of baby socks—one for each baby Planned Parenthood aborts each year—to lawmakers in Washington, DC.
Dallas Cowboys Kneel or Sit During National Anthem
The Dallas Cowboys, known as America’s team, chose to dishonor America as they knelt or sat during the “Star-Spangled Banner” on Monday. Owner Jerry Jones joined them, on his knees, in the middle of the field as the Arizona crowd booed. To their credit, the Arizona Cardinals, the opponent of the Cowboys, stood with patriotic pride.
Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee Kneels on House Floor in Solidarity with NFL Players
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) took to the House floor Monday night to kneel in solidarity with NFL players who chose to defy President Trump.
“I kneel in honor of the First Amendment. I kneel because the flag is a symbol for freedom. I kneel because I’m going to stand against racism. I kneel because I will stand with those young men.”
San Antonio Spurs Coach Says White People Need to Be Made Uncomfortable
Also on Monday, San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said on ESPN that it was time to make white people uncomfortable.
“Whether it’s LGBT movement, or women’s suffrage, race, it doesn’t matter. People have to be made to feel uncomfortable, and especially white people because we’re comfortable. It’s like you’re at the 50-meter mark in a 100-meter dash. And you’ve got that kind of lead. Yes, because you were born white, you have advantages.”
Republican Leaders Decide Not to Even Vote on Healthcare Bill
Facing assured defeat, Republican leaders decided yesterday not to even hold a vote on the GOP’s latest attempt to repeal Obamacare, surrendering on their last-gasp effort to deliver on the party’s banner campaign promise, reports the Chicago Tribune.
American College of Physicians Stand Against Assisted Suicide and Euthanasia
And finally, kudos to the American College of Physicians which took a stand against the legalization of physician-assisted suicide or euthanasia, reports World Magazine.
Comprised of 152,000 medical professionals, the group declared, “Control over the manner and timing of a person’s death has not been and should not be a goal of medicine.”

Special Report: Judge Roy Moore Upholds God’s Law and the Constitution as Senate Candidate
Time now for my World View Special Report. I’m Adam McManus.
By Adam McManus
Despite being heavily outspent by Luther Strange and his politically moderate allies, Judge Moore, the conservative Christian, won decisively in yesterday’s special GOP run-off for the seat of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
The former Alabama Chief Justice has the demonstrable battle scars for standing up for the social issues which animate evangelical voters.
Judge Roy Moore was twice removed from the Alabama Supreme Court for taking Biblical stands for the public display of the 10 Commandments and against homosexual faux marriage.
No wonder Rev. Franklin Graham, Dr. James Dobson, Sarah Palin, and former White House advisor Steve Bannon endorsed Moore for senator.
And no wonder the Senate Leadership Fund, with ties to the politically moderate Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, put millions of dollars behind Moore’s opponent Luther Strange.
Judge Moore didn’t hide his Christian convictions during the campaign. And he certainly didn’t hide his love of God throughout his victory speech.
“There’s One you don’t see up here. He’s done more for my campaign than anybody. And that’s Almighty God.
“When I’ve talked about God in this campaign, I’ve never prayed to win this campaign. I’ve only prayed that God’s will be done. The best thing we can do is put it in the hands of Almighty. There’s nothing too great for God.”
Moore quoted from Isaiah 40:4-5.
“For one day every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”
Judge Moore put life itself, not just the campaign, into biblical perspective.
“We’re put here on earth for a short time, and for that short time our duty is to serve Almighty God and to acknowledge Him in all things.”
Politically speaking, despite the fact that President Donald Trump endorsed Moore’s opponent Luther Strange, the judge was quick to indicate his support for the Commander-in-Chief.
“Together, we can make America great. We can support the president. Don’t let anybody in the press think that because he supported my opponent that I do not support him and support his agenda. As long as it’s constitutional, as long as it advances our society, our culture, our country, I will be supportive.”
Judge Moore emphasized two clear priorities for the Congress.
“We have to return to the knowledge of God and the Constitution of the United States to the United States Congress.
“I believe we can make America great, but we must make America good. And you cannot make America good without acknowledging the Sovereign source of that goodness, the Sovereign source of our law, liberty and government which is Almighty God.”
“We have become a nation that has distanced ourselves from the very foundation. Washington said, ‘Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, Religion and Morality are indispensable supports.’”
In last night’s victory speech, Judge Moore shared that he has remained loyal to a key American document.
“The Constitution has been my life. I was sworn many, many years ago to the United States Constitution on the banks of the Hudson River as a cadet in the United States Military Academy. I fought in a war to defend that Constitution. I fought in the courts against liberal judges that have usurped their authority of that Constitution. And I’ll fight for you at the United States Senate. I’ll fight for the people of this state and of this nation who want to bring our country back to its greatness. And we can and we will!”
What you might not know is that Judge Moore is also a poet, who speaks with the clarity of an Old Testament prophet. Listen to this original, penned by Judge Moore himself, entitled “America, the Beautiful?”
“America the Beautiful or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims’ pride; I’m glad they’ll never see
“Babies piled in dumpsters, Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty; your house is on the sand.
“Our children wander aimlessly. Poisoned by cocaine,
Choosing to indulge their lusts, when God has said abstain.
“From sea to shining sea, our nation turns away.
From the teaching of God’s love and a need to always pray.
“We’ve kept God in our temples, how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool, and Heaven is His throne.
“We’ve voted in a government that’s rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges who throw reason out the door,
“Too soft to place a killer in a well-deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby before he leaves the womb.
“You think that God’s not angry, that our land’s a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait before His judgment comes?
“How are we to face our God, from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do, but stem this evil tide?
“If we who are His children, will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face and mend our evil way:
“Then God will hear from Heaven and forgive us of our sins,
He’ll heal our sickly land and those who live within.
“But, America the Beautiful, if you don’t – then you will see,
A sad but Holy God withdraw His hand from Thee.”
“This is a time for victory. It’s a time to remember the struggles we’ve gone through. But it’s also time to rededicate our lives to God and to the Constitution and to our country, to our families. Let’s go again and make America great. May God bless you.”
Judge Moore exemplifies Micah 6:8 which asks, “What does the LORD require of you? To do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.”

Eight-Year-Old Boy Mutilated and Murdered in Human Sacrifice in Uganda
Jackline Mukisa sobbed as she described how her 8-year-old son was found in a swamp in Katabi, Uganda this past February without teeth, lips, ears and genitals, reports USA Today.
Mukisa said, “My innocent son died a painful death. How could somebody intend to murder my son?”
His remains suggest he was slowly killed as part of a human sacrifice ritual performed by witch doctors, apparently to appease the spirits. Sacrifices often involve removing body parts, blood or tissue while the child is still alive.
Seven children and two adults were sacrificed last year, said Moses Binoga, a police officer who heads Uganda’s Anti-Human Sacrifice and Trafficking Task Force. But experts said the number could be much higher.
Times are tough in Uganda, and people are looking to sacrifices to improve their fortunes. The worst drought in over half a century has hit parts of East Africa, leaving more than 11 million people in this nation facing food insecurity and 1.6 million on the brink of famine.
Other countries in Africa reported to be practicing child sacrifice include Tanzania, Nigeria, Swaziland, Liberia, Botswana, South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
2 Kings 21:6 explains that Judan King Manasseh burned his son alive in the fire, “practiced witchcraft and used divination, and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD provoking Him to anger.”
Muslims Attack Buses Carrying Coptic Christians, Killing 24 People
On May 26th of this year, 10 masked Muslim men in three cars opened fire on a convoy of two buses and a truck carrying Coptic Christians to an Egyptian monastery, killing 24 people including many children. 25 others were injured Friday 140 miles south of Cairo.
On May 27th, a 22-year-old Christian resident from the village of Tawa named Bassem wrote a profound post on Facebook, asking, “Are we [Coptic] Egyptians not from Egypt? No matter that you try to hurt us, one day all your ways will fail. … I ask Jesus to touch your heart and change you. Our Lord knows and sees what is happening to us. Continue and increase your terrorism, but I’m not afraid because it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of God.”
In a belated response, on September 14, a Muslim mob in the village of Tawa attacked the local Coptic Christian community in retaliation against Bassem’s Facebook post which was widely shared among Christians. Homes, businesses, and cars were destroyed and three Coptic Christians suffered minor injuries, reports International Christian Concern.
According to Essam, a Christian resident in Tawa and an eyewitness to the mob’s violence, “Many Muslims gathered and the mob began to attack Christian homes and shops. They were pelting stones at the homes while shouting, ‘Allah Akbar.’”
Guatemalan Pastor Detained by Immigration Enforcement Released
Noe Carias, a Guatemalan Assemblies of God pastor in Los Angeles who had deportation orders dating back to the mid-1990s, is now free after being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement on July 24, reports The Christian Post.
Carias was first deported from the United States in 1993 when he was a teenager, but later returned and ignored a deportation order from 1995 during Bill Clinton’s administration.
Today, Carias is married to a U.S. citizen and has two young children who are citizens.
Carias’ arrest drew the ire of Samuel Rodriguez, a fellow Assemblies of God pastor and the president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference. Rodriguez, who spoke at President Donald Trump’s inauguration, said that he was “dismayed” by Carias’ detention.
Rodriguez said, “Time and again, President Trump has stated his priority would be to deport violent criminals, drug dealers, human traffickers and gang members. Pastor Carias is the very opposite of that description. We should deport pushers, not pastors.”
Target Announces Decision to Increase Its Minimum Wage
Target said on Monday it would increase its minimum hourly wage this year by a dollar to $11, vowing to raise this by the end of 2020 to $15 an hour, reports Reuters.
Target’s decision comes less than three months after the Minneapolis City Council approved a measure requiring large companies to pay workers least at $15 an hour by 2022, following decisions by other liberal-leaning U.S. cities to raise the minimum wage.
The retailer, which employs more than more than 323,000 people, said the $11 hourly wage would also apply to the more than 100,000 workers Target is hiring for the holiday season.
Atheist Group Compels School District Secretary to Remove Bible Verse from Email Signature
An Indiana school district secretary named Sarah Mullins was forced to remove her Bible citation of Hebrews 6:19 from her email signature after the Freedom from Religion Foundation sent a complaint letter demanding its removal, reports The Christian Post.
In a letter sent to the Superintendent last Wednesday, the atheist group alleged, with a straight face, that Mullins’ inclusion of the Bible verse in her official school email signature was an endorsement of religion that could be “attributable to her employer.”
Hebrews 6:19 says, “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” Frightening words indeed.
State Legislatures Across the Country File Euthanasia Bills
Since Oregon passed its Death with Dignity Act in 1994, lawmakers have filed 231 bills seeking to legalize euthanasia in state legislatures across the country, according to the Patients Rights Council.
Lawmakers in only five states—Oregon, Washington, Vermont, California, and Colorado—have legalized assisted suicide.
