Sexually perverse activists threatened outspoken Australian pastor
LGBTQ activists attacked a pastor’s home last week in Sydney, Australia, reports MyChristianDaily.com.
Four people, two wearing hoods, cut the electricity to the home and then threatened to kill the pastor, his wife, and their newborn baby. They knew each member of the family by name. Other relatives were also mentioned by the assailants.
The pastor, Andrew Sedra, is known for his public opposition to abortion and the homosexual/transgender agenda in Australia.
In a message on her Instagram account, Millicent Sedra said, “We thank God for His continual protection as we boldly preach the Word of the Lord.” She included what appears to be a home video of the event on the post.
Pakistani Christian teen stands up to Muslim mob
Here’s a story of a young 17-year-old boy who stood up against a mob of Muslim bullies who were harassing a Pakistani Christian girl.
Ikhlaq Masih was severely beaten unconscious with iron rods which required his hospitalization.
Stand up to bullies and be prepared to pay the cost. That’s real courage for every young man listening today.
Isaiah 1:17 speaks of this. “Learn to do good; Seek justice. Rebuke the oppressor. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow.”
Turkey arrested 162 connected to homosexuality
The nation of Turkey has announced 162 arrests involving 22 associations and businesses that promote homosexual and transgender material, which they find harmful to children, reports CNN.
The groups reportedly have also “received large sums of funds from public institutions and foreign organizations abroad” to promote homosexuality in Turkey. This is part of a broader pro-family campaign to contain the promotion of homosexuality in Turkey, and salvage the birth rates.
Turkey President Recep Erdogan has publicly stated his commitment to improving the nation’s birth rate — now hovering around 1.5 which is identical to America’s low birth rate.
British Parliament kills assisted suicide bill
By a very close vote count of 286 to 270, British members of Parliament managed to kill an assisted suicide bill last Friday. Both the Roman Catholic Church and the Anglican Church opposed the bill, reports the BBC.
Alithea William of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children called this a huge relief. In her words; “Parliament has stepped back from the very brink in rejecting this bill which would have put vulnerable people at incredible risk.”
Global trade down
Global trade continues to suffer as the war in the Middle East drags on.
The Strait of Hormuz has been all but closed since March of this year, and with it, inflation has risen and global trade growth has been cut in half.
According to the World Bank, global growth is set to fall to only 2.5% for 2026. By way of comparison, the Gross World Product growth rate has averaged around 3.7% per year over the last decade or so.
Plus, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development is projecting above 4% inflation in the United States this year alone.
U.S. treasury yields are highest ever
In economic news, long-term U.S. treasury yields are the highest they’ve been since the early 2000s, reports CNBC.
And the 30-year mortgage rate hit 7.12%. That’s where it was around 2001 — some 25 years ago before the big dip in borrowing rates took place in the American economy.
Gas diesel prices skyrocket
Gas and diesel prices are up.
The current average for just one gallon of diesel is a whopping $6.23, while a gallon of gas sits at an average of $4.31.
Newly-unveiled Charlie Kirk statue vandalized
A newly unveiled statue of slain activist Charlie Kirk was vandalized outside of the Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona.
In a statement, Turning Point USA noted, “We will restore the statue and replace the signs, but we are also reviewing the footage of the incident and are working with law enforcement to identify who did this and hold them accountable.”
Erika Kirk, Charlie’s widow, added, “They thought a bullet would silence my husband’s voice but it only made it louder. They think spray paint can obscure his legacy, but it will only spread it further. Every attempt to tear down what Charlie built makes us root deeper and work even harder.”
LifeSiteNews.com reported that she also said, “And if you think crossing out the name of Jesus Christ will silence Christians, history has already proved you wrong. We know what it costs to stand firm for Christ and we will stand anyway. God will not be mocked.” (Galatian 6:7)
Kirk’s murder reignited an ongoing debate about the link between rhetoric and violence in politics, with many blaming assassin Tyler Robinson’s actions in part on years of Democrat officeholders and left-wing activists not merely disagreeing with conservatives about issues such as transgenderism, but classifying disagreement as hateful and oppressive.
Kirk was killed at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. The 8-foot bronze statue was put up on September 10, 2026 to commemorate the one-year anniversary of his murder.
U.S. Airman shot down over Iran grateful to God
And finally, that Air Force colonel, whose F-15E Strike Eagle was shot down over Iran in the early weeks of the war, was interviewed by Norah O’Donnell on CBS’s 60 Minutes about his ordeal.
Known by the call sign “Bravo,” he was the Weapons Systems Officer and landed five miles away from the pilot.
O’DONNELL: “So, your seat was damaged by Iranian fire, and yet you still were able to eject safely.”
BRAVO: “I was.”
O’DONNELL: “Did your parachute deploy?”
BRAVO: “My parachute was damaged in the initial attack. At one point, when I looked up and saw, “No parachute,” it was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever seen. So, I paused right then and I prayed, ‘Lord, Your will be done. But, if I’m getting through this, I need help.”
O’DONNELL: “While you’re in the air.”
BRAVO: “Yeah.”
O’DONNELL: “Is that almost like free falling, or how would you describe that?”
BRAVO: “Free falling is a good way to put it.”
O’DONNELL: “So, how fast do you think you were going when you hit the ground?”
BRAVO: “Professionals, based on my description and the injuries that I had, the professionals think I hit the ground going somewhere between 70 and 100 miles an hour.”
O’DONNELL: “How did you survive that?”
BRAVO: “A modern-day miracle. I believe that it’s a testament to God’s provision in my life to bring me through that moment in a way that — didn’t prevent injuries — but prevented any catastrophic injuries that would have affected my ability to survive. I’m grateful — eternally — for knowing that He was there with me.”
Psalm 34:17 says, “When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.”
